SKIPPING STONES. MY ABSOLUTE FAV OFF THIS ALBUM. THERE IS NO COMPETITION I FEAR.....it's very reminiscent of music i'd listen to while growing up esp the songs my dad would share with me...idk why but that connection just makes this song so much more special to me. also sounds kinda like a day6 song and as someone who loves day6 i needed this!! i love the rock influences so fucking much guys i am so obsessed with this song,,,, i need more songs like this immediately. asap. i love that this album has so many contradictory statements in it. so many opposing views. it's the entire theme of the album, after all, fighting the 'nothing matters' mentality with the 'nothing matters so you make your own meaning' mentality- and with that you've got sending Love from the other side of the Apocalypse, Heartbreak feels so Good, Hold Me like a Grudge, the view's so Pretty from the deck of a Sinking Ship . it's a constant battle, sure, but maybe also learning to accept that all these views can exist at once, nothing matters and it's awful but at least you can make your own meaning . explodes basically
