Ace was supposed to be executed not because of his piracy or actions as a pirate, but because of his blood, because of something he had no fucking control over, because that corrupt government feared a one man and decided to go after his fucking bloodline for being related…… bruh

HE WAS FUCKING 20 AS WELL WHEN HE DIED

Majority of the people who die in one piece are at least in their 30’s (except Corazon, probably Lammy/Lamí and couple others (which their deaths also piss me off)). This barely-ish adult was in the prime of his life and was killed for protecting his younger brother after Luffy tried to save him from being executed because he is the son of Gol D. Roger’s (and Rouge, let’s not forget that queen). And the only reason the marines got their hands on him, is bc he went after Blackbeard in retaliation for betraying the crew and killing Thatch….
