Turo Moilanen Headcanons

Turo’s preferences for music are often dependent on what mood he’s in at the moment. For the most part, he’ll listen to either death metal or stoner metal, the first to channel his negative feelings and the latter to stay relaxed at any time. His top bands are Job for a Cowboy, Cannibal Corpse, Mastodon, Asphynx, and Goatsnake. 

He’s a really light sleeper due to his nerves and typically wakes up earlier than he intends to. When that happens, he’ll just listen to metal music on his Walkman or quietly sing the lyrics of his favorite songs till he falls back to sleep. 

Was the kid in class who always doodled or wrote random blurbs on their classwork instead of working. He’d get in trouble sometimes for drawing metal personas of him and his friends or writing lyrics that weren’t appropriate for school. 

Humble to the point of self-deprecating (can someone please hug him). He often idolizes his friends for having traits he doesn’t think he has, not seeing that they all value him as their frontman. 

I see Turo being raised only by his mother and her parents. Many of the assholes in his community blamed him not having a father as to why he became a social misfit (cue homophobic bullying).

Never really liked his job at the psychiatric institution, but he would always listen to the elderly patients whenever they told their stories. 

Will keep everything in his pockets: Keys, hair ties, Pepto Bismol (he gets nauseous easily), iron-on patches of random bands, etc...

Turo learned how to play card games from his grandfather and he’s surprisingly good at them. It’s one of the few things where he’s actually confident in his abilities. 

Despite not always doing the right thing, he has a good heart and tries to fix his slip-ups. 

His dream life would probably be a cabin somewhere remote in the woods or mountains. He likes being around nature more than he does around people.
