The artist behind this unorthodox title, hailing from the Deep Sea, is "usually pretty chill" according to fellow bandmates, and contributes the distinct musical vibe from over there into Oxygen Tank's melting pot oeuvre. Perhaps it was in experimentally straying from that wheelhouse (with the support of said bandmates) in order to "say what needed to" that has made this fresh bop the default BGM of back alleys everywhere.

Luz!! She reminds me a lot of myself when I was in middle school and I just love her sm uogh… She’s just a really great character overall to me and some of her plot lines were things I would’ve really appreciated as a kid to see!

oh that’s a good question! i don’t entirely know either but it’s funny and VERY unexpected when someone changes their popular post to phon

basically it likely started with this post by party, (any pronouns) where he edited their popular post from “boring post about tumblr” to “i am going to corrupt the message of this post and make it look like phon took it over.” (you can still go into the notes of that post to see the original)

phon is based off mephone 4 from inanimate insanity (the object show youtube series)! i hope you can see the resemblance, although i still have NO idea who drew the original artwork that made him look so ferocious and badly-drawn

from that post onwards, whenever she or any one of its mutuals had a popular post, they would corrupt it in the same way to be replaced by phon instead. it’s caught on. the original post would forever be lost, except for through reblogs by everyone else.

(you’ll notice i did the coward way of not having the original posts be lost: i edit the post, reblog the post, then return the post to its pre-edited state. that keeps the original post, but i have to keep self-reblogging the phon version for people to notice)
