🍰 Conversations with a Movie Star @gnpwdrnwhiskey - Ava and Dieter are my favorite. Both of them finding something in each other they didn’t really know they were missing. Plus, Ava and Dieter’s banter is top notch too.

🍰 Sequins @trulybetty - I love a fic with a good plot twist and this one does just that! Especially with a hand from handsome Joel 😉

🍰 Worth the Wait @kteague - This series gives me butterflies whenever I read it. Javier and Diosa make me weak🔥

i'm sorry i left you hanging on this, hun, i was having a really shitty day yesterday and wasn't in the "tooting my own horn" sort of mindset. i'm usually not, but i'll do my best today!

i recently actually showcased some of my favorite gifsets i've made (it's more than 3 but shhh)

so i'll stick to 3 of the fics i've written that i'm proud of (especially now that i've got more than one LOL)

1. bloody kisses (miniseries, shane x tim) - maybe it's because it's fresh/new but i'm genuinely so proud of this one. i think it's some of my best writing so far, but i also didn't expect this much positivity/reception to this fic at all. it centers around a character of pedro's that i think goes overlooked (for good reason, the source material leaves much to be desired), but i really like him and wanted to give him a sort of redemption/twist on who he is. i really can't thank y'all enough for the love on this one.

2. into the beat of the night (series, frankie x oc!river) - my darling babies ♥ this is something i'll probably always be proud of. i may rework it one day, now that i'm more comfortable writing again, but i think leaving it as is might be a good lesson as well. this was the first thing i'd written in 10 years and the premise/river mean a lot to me personally. the love for them has been so overwhelming and makes my little black heart soar.

3. ásjá - a winter solstice story - (oneshot, pero x ofc!helga) - i feel like i showcase this one a lot, but i can't help it! i think it's the underdog of all my fics and that's why i love it so much. it suits pero as a character too, i think, being the underdog (amongst the rest of the ppcu anyway). i don't talk about being pagan very much, but doing this sort of fic was just as close to my heart as itbotn is for me. it's just as much a part of my life as the subjects touched on with river so i'm proud of how i portrayed that.

Okay, this was surprisingly tough but I love these sort of questions

I think we’ll go with Frankie because it’s Frankie.

And it’s also because Frankie is my love andI trust he would probably make the situation lighter without making me feel bad.

In terms of what he’d say, I feel like there’d be a little concern but also perhaps a tiny bit of amusement, but at first he’d stuck to something fairly safe like, “So, do I want to ask what happened, or not?” to gauge how I was taking it and then bounce off that either by making me laugh, or sympathising if I was a bit panicky.

Bonus: I think Agent Whiskey would have some sort of incredibly cheesy tree related line or pun that he couldn’t resist like he can’t beleaf it when he sees me in the tree, or that’s he rooting for us, or something like that.

But if you could go back in time, I would chose Alderaan or Scariff. But if I can’t, then it’s gotta be Naboo - gorgeous sites, and I am sure plenty of frogs for Grogu to peek at 🐸💖

And on the ship I would bring a mountain of blankets to stay cozy, and a holobook filled with texts to read while we’re traveling (or whatever a space kindle is called! 😁)

ahh jo! this is such a sweet question and I have loved seeing your recs & the recs of friends on my dash! 💖 It's really exciting to see which fics people are proud of - there's always so much love woven into them. I went through & picked my fave 3 ppcu fics, in honor of today!

❧ Bleed For Me

this was so much fun to work on! I think I completed it (like, outlining & writing) in 2 weeks for the event, and that felt like such a huge personal accomplishment. and the theme was an absolute treat and an indulgence. I've never worked on something that had a sort of 'reveal' or mystery so figuring that out was very rewarding once I got there, haha 💖

❧ In The Woods Somewhere

I really wanted to do a soft and slow series for Joel - I had ideas pre-show (from the game) about taking care of him after he was injured, but it took me a while longer to flesh out and get started. I was so worried about writing for Ellie, so to complete this also felt so rewarding!

❧ Renegade / Take It Slow

This fic duo was so fun, I love QZ!Joel and had been feeling so inspired after watching the show. These are just ones I liked the vibes of, and how much Joel shows instead of says.

collage edit: ethel cain x strangers (i think this is my favorite collage i've ever made) pedro pascal gifset: ✨girl meal ✨ (i had a lot of fun with the colors and i tried my best with the blending which i still kinda suck at, but i think it wasn't half bad in this) paramore gifset: the news music video (in this i'm really happy with how the tvs turned out, and that i was able to execute the idea i had in my mind!)

I love this idea so much and I'm sorry if this got long! I fully support the cake and celebrating - I'm having a great time and adding to my tbr by seeing other answers to this as well. So, for my three fics I'm most proud of/would recommend to others:

Sing Fever to the Form I love romance tropes like fake dating but i was really proud of the twists I put on this and way I explored this with Frankie. It bought in a number of ideas and tiny references at the time I felt nervous and not confident enough to write. Also, this fic was the first one where I decide to try and write a tiny bit more smut than I usually would and gave me confidence in this more than a fade to black (there is nothing wrong with a fade to black at all btw)

Your Hand In Mine I've been plotting this fic since the show started airing but was nervous to write it. My lovely friend @joelsgreys encouraged me when I told her about the idea and so I started writing it. I feel like this fic demonstrates that blend of fluff, angst and romance that I feel is my style at the moment? Flangst, it's flangst. Also, I really started this during a difficult time, when my Javi fic got too personal, too difficult and I was scared I had written myself back into writer’s block or anxiety again. Thiis fic helped me through that, plus I'm proud of how I’ve executed a number of its plots. I am looking forward to bringing it back more to a slightly more romance/fluff place for the last few chapters too.

Let’s Get Lost I think this one is probably the one that seems to be resonating or landing with people the most at the moment, but is one of the ideas I am most proud of. It allows me to write an incredible setting (I haven’t stated where the wedding is for people to imagine, but I have a specific location in mind in my head - it’s somewhere the Carribbean) and play with so many concepts I love? I really care about these characters and from when I started brainstorming the idea more last year, I felt this one had something a little special to it and I really hope I am doing it justice so far.

Also finally, I am cheating here but, I think I have to give an honorable mention to Between the Shadow and Soul which I wrote very early in my time in the fandom and it didn't seem to land at the time, but this fic ran so that all of the above fics could walk and I was so proud of it when I wrote it.
