#knitblr #knitting #plushies #bunny plush #ffvii #buster sword #origami #MMMMMMMM HE'S SO CUTE I LOVE HOW HE TURNED OUT #one of his ears is just stubbornly flopping over but i love it #it gives him personality :3 #the sword is a utility knife blade i found on the floor and used a band saw to cut the angle on it #i clamped two little scraps of walnut down around it with glue to hold it in place and used a knife to carve it into sword hilt shape #got green aventurine beads from michaels and squeezed them in a clamp until they popped in half #and then glued two halves on either side #and used 1mm black leather cord to wind up the grip #the harness was done in linen stitch with some scrap brown wool i had laying around #i put a neodymium disc magnet in the little pouch on his back to hold the sword with #it had to be strong enough to hold it THROUGH the knit layer #and it's just hook and eye closures in the front #i left the ones on the shoulder straps visible because i thought it made it look a little more official-soldiery #overall i'm pretty happy with it!! #i can put the bunny pattern link in a reblog/reply if anyone wants it #dawnposts #bunster sword

i desperately need a new backpack to cart around all my Accessories because my current one is literally falling apart (one of the straps is only being held together by a knot) but i have very specific requirements and no idea how to verbalize them in a way that will allow me to get what i want. if anyone has backpack recs i’m open to suggestions.

#it needs to have enough partitioning inside that i can organize things securely and easily but not so much it becomes a labyrinth #it needs to be sturdy and have a strong functional handle at the top as well as the backpack straps #it needs useable side pockets on both sides #also it can’t be too light colored on the outside or i will destroy it in six months. ideally like an olive green tends to work well for me #i carry at all times: my physical planner + whatever book i am reading + wallet/keys/phone + an emergency multi-tool + sunglasses + earbuds #+ a pouch containing some assorted personal items too numerous to name (stuff like lotion/hand sanitizer/chapstick/etc) + chewing gum + #advil/other meds + covid vaccine card (i need to get a case for that bc it’s currently getting beat to hell) + backup battery + phonecharger #as i said i have MANY ACCESSORIES #i think my friends regard me as some kind of friendly traveling merchant because if they need something i probably have it #i’m the utility character in this adventuring party #OH I FORGOT SOME STUFF #i also also always have some kind of granola bar + ginger candy (for nausea/car sickness to which i am prone) + a deck of cards #+ an iphone auxiliary adapter + period supplies + tide pen + bobby pins + extra hair ties #ok i think that’s it #ITS A LOT OF STUFF #it’s very well organized so it’s not as overwhelming as it seems.
