This is a visit to Kinneil House in Bo'ness in central Scotland. It's an historic mansion built in 1677 on the remains of a 15th or 16th century towerhouse. The building was saved from destruction in 1936 when 16th century mural paintings were discovered and it's now in the care of Historic Environment Scotland. We really enjoyed visiting! 😀

🗾 Cramond Beach - Edinburgh - Scotland 🇬🇧 My trip to Edinburgh was a wonderful experience. During the journey from the airport to the hotel, I already had the feeling that I strongly belonged to this city, despite never having been there before. Looking back at the photographs Edinburgh gave me, made me realize that sometimes the environment and people create the photograph themselves, and I just have to push the button. I recommend visiting the Scottish capital to anyone who wants to get excited walking through the streets of a city that is as inclusive as it is traditional. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿So this is my first ever visit to Scotland and Edinburgh. There have been many firsts this year for me (Mexico, Romania, Belgium, now Scotland and soon Ireland), and it’s only january. I noticed now that I’m writing in english 🤦‍♂️😂. Too much english for me the last couple of days. Hahaha. So I’ll finish this post in english just this time. . 💊Don’t ask me how, but I managed to get new medicin here in Edinburgh. My medicin are all on prescription but I found some nice girls in a pharmacy that helped me get my meds. Lifesavers! At the first pharmacy I visited, I couldn’t even get some pills that we don’t need prescription for in Sweden… there’s a big difference with service and SERVICE. So now I actually could stay away 14 days more. And the mess were really cheap as well! Costed med 1/3 of what I pay i Sweden. . 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿I have just been here a couple of hours and I already love this city! It’s f*cking beautiful here! But why they try to kill me with that left traffic😂. And I also had to buy a converter for the electrical outlet… . 📸 1. Great sky today! 📸 2. First time in a long time, the plane wasn’t full. Lovely! 📸 3. Transfer from airport to Edinburgh? 10/10! Easy to find and both buses, taxis and trams. And cheap as well! 📸 4. I love the architechture here!😍 📸 5. I have only seen one man with a kilt. I love kilts! 📸 6. The smallest pub in Scotland 📸 7. Beautiful city! Love the old houses, the hilly terrain, cobblestones etc etc. 📸 8. And there are amazing building here. Big castles and churches. 📸 9. Didn’t visit any gay places in Mexico, Romania or Belgium. Especially Brussels have a big gay area with many bars. But I wasn’t in the mood at all. This is the first gay bar I visit this year. Almost empty. A older crowd. Good music. Planet Bar and Kitchen. 🎞️ 10. Found a korean restaurant. It was so good! Especially the seafood pancake. The best I’ve ever had. But I regret not doing the Korean BBQ. That looked awesome! ….. 🦕Booked a trip to Loch Ness on friday. 🧡walking along the cobblestone streets in Edi takes you back to the history that has once walked there…you can almost feel the atmosphere & how J.K.Rowling obtained so much inspiration for HP. the beautiful walks, the stunning architecture & moody weather 🧡 @astre_people keeps me warm & cozy while we wander around the city 🥰✨ here are my top tips to visit when you have only overnight in Edinburgh: •definitely book @airbnb in the centre, everything is in a walking distance so you don’t have to commute •start the day with coffee in your hand - our fav is 📍Wellington Coffee on Hanover Street & @fortitudecoffee ☕️ •walk around the old town, see the Monument, wander around Princess Gardens •walk up the hill through Cockburn St to the Royal Mile •don’t miss out the St Giles’ Cathedral & Edinburgh Castle 🧡 •on your way back get lost in one of the many cute shops on Victoria Street (Full of color & you can find Harry Potter shop there) •if you fancy Scottish food try @howies or there’s @eltorolocoedinburgh Mexican street food 🧡 •pictures were shot from the Vennel Viewpoint where you can get easily to from Victoria Street •go back up to the castle & wander & explore secret narrows with hidden gems like stairs,old lamps or hidden pubs & tearooms •for the afternoon I recommend a walk around Dean Village Do you have your personal tips what’s your fav spot in Edinburgh or is it on your bucket list? A stylish, fun elopement that was 100%, truly, authentically K & F. Travelling all the way from Utah to Scotland for their elopement, K & F knew they wanted to have their ceremony somewhere in Edinburgh, and definitely outside in nature. They didn't want any getting-ready photos, no specific plans - just amazing outfits and lots of fun exploring Edinburgh together. And what fun we had!
