When He Apologises To You After A Fight ~ Vixx Reaction

Your eyes widened as you watched Hakyeon walk through the front door, two bags in his hands. He placed them in front of you, allowing you to peek inside both of them.

“My favourites,” you commented, recognising a few of your favourite things.

Hakyeon nodded proudly as he took a seat down beside you, “I thought they might be a good start in trying to say sorry to you for the argument earlier.”

“I guess buying my favourite chocolate does sweeten me up a little bit,” you agreed, reaching in and pulling your favourite bar out to start enjoying.

“You have to listen to me though Y/N, you can’t just eat that now.”

“I can do both,” you retorted, “plus I like the chocolate more than I like you right now.”

“I can’t argue with that,” Hakyeon shrugged back across at you, “but I would like you to at least pay attention enough to know that I’m sorry for what I said to you.”

Your head nodded as you looked up in Hakyeon’s direction. “This apology better be on a par with the chocolate otherwise I won’t be listening.”

“Y/N, shh,” Hakyeon laughed, “I’m trying to be serious, stop messing around with me now.”

“Sorry, I promise I’m listening.”

Leo:

A sigh came from you as you heard the door to your bedroom open, knowing that it was Taekwoon by the clearing of the throat that came from him as he approached you.

“I’m not interested,” you immediately called out, but Taekwoon didn’t listen.

Instead, he perched down on the bed just beside you. “I’m not here to cause another argument Y/N, I’m here because I want to say sorry for what happened.”

“It doesn’t change what you said earlier on,” you stubbornly replied, catching Taekwoon nodding in agreement with you out of the corner of your eye.

“Let me try and make it up to you at least, you shouldn’t be here.”

“I want to be here,” you corrected, “I’d happily be anywhere if it was away from you.”

“Y/N,” Taekwoon whispered, resting his hand against the top of your leg, “I’m trying here. I can’t say sorry enough but you can’t just ignore me forever and not talk to me.”

You shuffled slightly so that you were looking across at Taekwoon, “I’m listening,” you bluntly whispered, not letting him off quite so easily.

“Thank you,” he calmly responded. “I am really sorry for what I said, you know that, don’t you?”

“Yeah, I know you are Taek.”

Ken:

The sound of a knock at the door brought your eyes up, smiling weakly as you saw Jaehwan stood in the doorway, holding up the bag that was in his hand to show you.

“What are you doing here?” You asked, pushing your laptop away.

Jaehwan took that as a sign to walk into your office, hovering beside your desk. “It’s a bit of a peace offering, a guilt lunch for causing the argument earlier.”

“You’ve brought me lunch to say sorry?” You smiled back across at him, unable to stop yourself from being touched by Jaehwan’s sweet gesture.

“I’ve not been able to stop thinking about what happened.”

“Come on,” you spoke, beckoning him over, “I can’t say no to a free lunch anyway.”

“I’ve got a few more things that I thought might make you like me again,” Jaehwan informed you as he took his seat and started to unpack the bag.”

Your eyes rolled as he did so, “no matter how much we fight Jae, it never stops me from liking you. These things just happen in relationships.”

“You’re right,” he mused, “I guess sometimes I worry that I push things a little too far with you.”

“You definitely like to test me.”

Ravi:

Your eyes glanced away as soon as you noticed the front door opening, hearing Wonshik walk through the house and take a seat on the sofa beside you.

“What?” You questioned, feeling his eyes staring across at you firmly.

A sigh came from Wonshik, expecting you to still be annoyed with him. “I just wanted to talk to you Y/N, try and at least explain myself a little bit.”

“What’s there to explain?” You challenged, “you made your opinions quite clear this morning about what you think of me, I’m just stupid to you, aren’t I?”

“That’s not true, I didn’t get my words right at all earlier, that’s all.”

“Is that you explaining yourself?” You groaned back at him, “blaming your words?”

“Can you just let me finish?” Wonshik asked of you, running a hand through his hair. “I’m trying to put things right, even if you’re still mad with me.”

Your head nodded as you took a moment to calm yourself back down again, “I guess I could listen to what you have to say for yourself.”

“Don’t sound too disappointed,” Wonshik joked, “don’t you want to stop arguing with me?”

“Sometimes I’m not so sure.”

Hyuk:

A figure appearing brought a smile to Sanghyuk’s face, watching as Jaehwan peered down and took a look at what it was that he was doing on his phone during their break.

“For Y/N?” Jaehwan asked, watching as Sanghyuk browsed a selection of flowers.

His head nodded as he clicked one of the options, “I messed up pretty bad this morning, sending her a bouquet of flowers feels like the least that I could.”

“Did you really muck up that much?” Jaehwan couldn’t help but laugh, throwing his arm across Sanghyuk’s shoulders. “You don’t think just a sorry will cut it this time?”

“I’m too embarrassed to even tell you what I said to her earlier on.”

A hum of surprise escaped from Jaehwan, “you better find something expensive.”

“Since when were flowers so expensive,” Sanghyuk grumbled as he clicked to check out, “I can’t dig myself that big of a hole again just for the price of the apology.”

Jaehwan’s head shook as he listened to him, “at least hopefully if you send her these you’ll get Y/N talking to you again, isn’t that what’s most important.”

“Of course,” Sanghyuk agreed, “I think it might get me a few points remembering her favourites too.”

“Don’t get too ahead of yourself.”

I'm looking for some roleplay partners. I don't really have a limit on how many I want to take in or anything, so if you're interested, then let me know in the dms! But before you message me, please kindly read the following notes about me and what I'm looking for. Even if you don't meet all the criteria, I'm more than willing to give you a chance! Though age is a hard requirement that has to be met! Anything with a * next to it is a requirement I’m looking for in a partner.

Most, if not all roleplays will be NSFW

Yes, it'll have some spicy times in it, but it's mostly deemed NSFW because of the themes I like to write.

Dark themes, triggering situations, adult content - everything, of course, will be preplanned with long discussions of triggering topics, hard limits and such.

OC Character - Kayden Park

Kayden was overjoyed. He hadn’t thought tulips would grow at this time of the year, but entering the garden he found a wide variety of them, pristine and in full bloom. They were the one flower that Kayden had really hoped would grow because after he read what their meanings were, he knew almost instantly who he wanted to give them to.

Specifically the red tulips.

Some might say he falls too easily and others might say he loves too hard. But in reality, Kayden couldn’t control who he was or how he felt about people. When he found someone he liked, he became attached to them, trying to be as close as possible while nurturing their growing relationship - whatever it might be. Even if that person got on his nerves all the time, or they ended up doing things that very honestly scared him, ending a relationship just wasn’t in Kayden’s vocabulary.

Red tulips symbolize true love, or a soulmate. Kayden had a specific person in mind and while he wouldn’t say it was true love - hell Atreyu could barely stand him in a good - he did think the other was his soulmate. Despite their ups and downs and the multitude of times he was locked out of the dorm and left to fend for himself for the night, Kayden knew that what he had with Atreyu was special - indescribable even.

And while he couldn’t find the words, he knew the flowers would do the best job. So after carefully plucking five of the tulips, he handed back inside and to his room where he had left his roommate. Atreyu had been in one of his moods again, refusing to speak to Kayden, so hopefully the flowers would double as something to cheer him up.

“Atreyu~!” he sang happily as he opened the door, hoping he hadn’t disturbed the other but knowing he probably did. He braced himself to be hit with a pillow or something, even a “go away” in his harsh and icy tone. But when he got no greeting in return, Kayden took a moment to actually look around the room.

It was empty.

And not just in a way that said Atreyu left to go mope somewhere. It was truly empty. The smile on his face slowly fell as he stepped into the room. His bed was made, but it lacked a lived-in feel - as if a maid had come in and just fixed the bed to make it look presentable. The nightstand next to the bed was barren, everything Atreyu had kept there gone.

Kayden didn’t want to jump to conclusions but his mind was already racing. He crossed the space quickly and yanked open the drawers. Barren. Turning, he moved to the closet next and opened it. Nothing. Everything that had belonged to Atreyu was gone.

He was gone.

As Kayden stood there, reality slowly came crashing down as he realized he was alone. No note. No text. No goodbye. He clenched the tulips tightly in his hand before releasing them and letting them drop to the floor.

Stupid.

He had been so stupid and this is what he got.

Silently, Kayden walked over to his bed and sat down on it gingerly, eyes staring blankly ahead.

Alone.

No matter what he did, he was always going to be alone.

ABO AU - Chan, Jisung, Seungmin, Changbin

Jisung laughed and nodded, pulling back some from the other. “Tonight…supposedly.” He said and shrugged. “But my body has been weird lately, so it may hold off another day. I hope it does cause I wanna be able to spend time with you. It’s been so long.”

Jisung had honestly missed the omega. He hadn’t seen Hyunjin since the night of the attack. The last thing Jisung could recall was rolling on top of Hyunjin to protect him from the blade before calling for help. Chan had told him already that if it weren’t for him, Hyunjin probably would have ended up dying.

So if that meant Jisung suffered from nightmares and a sore side (with a near death experience of his own), then so be it. It was worth it.

He grunted when Felix suddenly tackled them both, hugging them tightly. “Yeah! What Lixie said.” He said and whined. “Felix, my side.” He hissed softly.

Chan watched the three, smiling fondly. He walked over and patted Felix’s head gently. “Come in Lix, be careful with them.” He said gently. “They’re both still healing.”

Seungmin peeked his head out of the kitchen before hiding once more, afraid to face Hyunjin. He felt so guilty still for turning his back on the omega so fast. Things from that had been hectic, chaotic. Feelings were hurt, people were hurt and Seungmin may have chosen the wrong side.

He still fully believed how things were handled was inexcusable and that was mostly on Chan’s part but knowing the other was Hyunjin’s soulmate and seeing first hand what a soulmate bond looked like through Jisung and Minho, Seungmin sort of understood where everyone was coming from. It couldn’t be helped, the attraction.

He wanted to apologize for being such an ass but he was afraid Hyunjin wouldn’t accept it. He didn’t want to cause discourse in the pack because the others seemed so hellbent on getting Hyunjin in the pack and they were happy. He would be happy too, he just wasn’t sure if Hyunjin would be happy around him.

Meanwhile, Changbin made his exit from the kitchen and smiled. “We’ll looky here.” He called. “Chan really did bring us a present.” He teased.

"Noona, I'm home." Sanghyuk padded into the living room where his wife watched TV while their 18-month old son was zipping around in his toy car.

"Hyogi!" Mari stood on the couch to easily kiss him without getting a crick in her neck. "How was rehearsal?"

"Good. But I missed you." He settled next to her on the couch. "Appa also missed you, buddy. I got your favorite." Sanghyuk opened a bulging paper bag and pulled out a taiyaki.

Minhyuk hesitated, glancing longingly from the pastry to Sanghyuk. After much deliberation, the child tore his glance away and continued driving in his car.

Seeing Sanghyuk pout, Mari snickered and snatched the paper bag from his hands. Tearing open one of the steaming fish-shaped pastries, she waved it enticingly. "Minhyukkie..."

Minhyuk stopped his baby car beside her to devour the taiyaki half in a few big bites.

Sanghyuk scoffed, but his lips curled into a smile. "So that's how it is, huh. You can even ignore Appa bringing food now, but you'll eat it if Eomma feeds you."

With his mouth still full, Minhyuk gave Mari a cat-like grin that mirrored Sanghyuk's before zooming off.

"It's unfair." Sanghyuk whined, leaning against his wife with an arm around her shoulders. "I helped make him too, why does he treat me this way?"

"It's because you treat him that way."

"What way?"

Mari gave him a withering look. "Don't act innocent, Han Sanghyuk. You peeve him on purpose."

He pulled her closer, pushing his lips out. "What do you mean, noona? I wouldn't do that to our son." His hand slid from between her shoulder blades to just above the curve of her bum.

She cocked an eyebrow. "Where do you think you're touching?" She reached behind to peel his hand off but he only slid it lower.

His voice dropped to a whisper. "You know noona, it has been a while..."

"It hasn't even been a week," she retorted, a little high-pitched as she shivered under his touch.

"Five days!" He shook his head. "This is where trouble starts you know, a couple has kids, gets too busy to get busy, they start drifting apart--"

"Are you already giving a terminal diagnosis to this marriage?"

He kissed her ear. "Noona, I'm doing my best for this marriage--ow!" Sanghyuk grabbed his leg.

Minhyuk backed away, preparing to ram his car against Sanghyuk's leg again.

One corner of Sanghyuk's mouth quirked mischievously. He lifted his legs on the couch, sitting on them. "What are you going to do now, buddy?"

With a huff, Minhyuk clambered out of the car and climbed the couch, trying to squeeze between them.

"Is our Minhyuk getting jealous?" Sanghyuk easily blocked him with an arm and kissed Mari full on the mouth. Minhyuk let out a bloodthirsty scream.

Mari reached for the baby. "Minhyukkie, Appa's just teasing--"

"No, I'm not! I'm totally serious." Laughing, Sanghyuk hugged her, pinning her arms to her sides before she could embrace the child.

"Mine!" Minhyuk growled, tugging at his father's arms.

Sanghyuk snorted. "What are you talking about, buddy? She was mine first. How do you think you were born?"

Minhyuk looked like he was going to injure himself throwing himself at Sanghyuk, so the latter scooped up Mari, bridal-style, and stood up. "Buddy, you gotta cool off, alright?"

"Han Sanghyuk, you're such a child!" Mari scolded, turning her head away when he attempted to kiss her again.

"Then that makes you a naughty woman, doing such things with a child." He smirked.

She put a hand over his mouth before he could kiss her. "Gross. That's gross, Hyogi. Whatever I was feeling down there... it's gone now."

"But noona--!"

"Did you really have to remind me why I hesitated to date you, little Hyogi?"

"Noona, I'm a man now." he asserted, his voice husky. He held her gaze with heavy-lidded eyes for a couple of moments before asking uncertainly: "Did that work?"

"No," she said, only half-fibbing.

"Damn--oww!" He yelped as his leg was struck again, nearly dropping her. "Minhyukkie, you're just way too..." He stopped, seeing the little boy swipe at tear-filled eyes.

He placed Mari on the couch and kneeled beside Minhyuk, patting his head. "Did Appa go too far? I'm sorry, buddy." Minhyuk sobbed in earnest, letting Sanghyuk envelop him in a hug. "Appa needs to learn other ways of playing and showing you love."

"Now why can't the two of you be always like this?" Mari quipped, enjoying the sight of her child and childish husband being at peace for once.

Before Sanghyuk could reply, Mari's phone rang. "Hello? Geonil-sunbae! Yeah, I forwarded the initial plan to the management..." She talked to him for a several minutes about a work project. When she ended the call, both Sanghyuk and Minhyuk were sitting cross-legged on the floor, staring at her with their wide-set eyes glinting sharply. "Yes, boys?"

Sanghyuk shook his head. "This Geonil-sunbae… does he know you're married?"

"Of course he does, you know he came to our wedding." She chuckled as he continued to glare. "And you know he's married too."

He crossed his arms over his chest. "But that Geonil-sunbae is obviously trying to make you his work wife."

She stopped gawking at his arms straining against his sweater. "Don't be ridiculous."

"You know I'm right. Why does he even call you after hours? He's the ridiculous one. Hmph!" He turned his chin up.

"Hmph!" Minhyuk echoed.

"See, our son agrees with me." Sanghyuk tilted his head at Minhyuk. "Yes~?"

"Yes~!" Minhyuk tilted his head in response.

Mari tried to keep a stern face but ended up bursting into laughter. "I can't even pretend to be mad at the two of you, you're both too cute!"

Hakyeon was grabbing his wallet and waiting for his fellow member, that was currently being dragged from his room.

"You can play your games later."

Taekwoon was the one dragging his friend.

"But why am I the one who's going to the market with hyung?"

Everybody in the room just rolled their eyes.

"We're preparing the place for Y/N's birthday party! Go and don't be late. Has anyone talked with Wonshik?"

Ken was in the middle of hanging up a banner which said "congratulations", every letter with a different color.

"I did. He's gonna pick her up at 7PM."

"Do you think he'll talk about this?"

"As soon as she enters his car."

"Maybe we should have given this task to someone else."

"Yeah, but you know he kinda likes her. We wouldn't have a choice."

Giggling, Hakyeon left the dorm with Hongbin to buy foods and drinks for the night.

"Hyung, which cake should we choose?"

"I think she really likes those with peanuts and dulce de leche. There's any like that here?"

The most important item was already chosen.

Meanwhile, your phone was ringing out loud and non-stop, making you almost run from the shower.

"What's wrong?"

"The guys are throwing a party because one: they like you, and two: they think it's amazing someone's birthday happens at february 29th. But please, act surprised."

You just hummed and turned to him.

"Why should I act surprised? Is there something happening?"

Winking and smiling at him, he felt his heart working way too fast, like his feet on the accelerator pedal, unconsciously. But gladly you both arrived without any accident. And as you entered the dark apartment, the rest of the guys begin to sing the classic song, holding the cake with sparkly candles and wearing birthday hats.

It was very nice. The place was filled with balloons and there was food everywhere. Also pictures of you all together.

"C'mon, make a wish."

You looked at everyone's faces and closed your eyes, smiling and wishing silently to just keep being surrounded by such great people.

After blowing the candles and placing the cake at the table, you could thank them for the event.

"Did Wonshik told you that we were preparing this?"

Sanghyuk asked putting a hat on you.

"What? No! I didn't knew it at all."

Everyone looked at you and at Ravi. Hyuk laughed.

"You can't expect us to believe in this lie, Y/N."

Hongbin was offering you a drink.

"He did told me that he needed me tonight though."

Now it was the time that they got surprised, while Wonshik tried to cave a hole in the floor and get inside.

"Finally he did something about it! We were going crazy!"

Jaehwan smiled looking at you both.

"About it? About... what?"

Uh oh. Ravi shook his head behind you, meaning that he didn't revealed anything.

"What? Oh, let me ask you something. How old are you? Because your birthday is on february 29th. Do you have anniversaries only on leap years?"

You seriously couldn't understand how Jaehwan's mind worked, so you just laughed it off and started to eat, deciding what game you all should play.

"Before we play, you should open your gifts."

"Wait, did you guys bought me things?"

"Why wouldn't we?

Hakyeon placed a small envelop on your hands, which made you a little confused. What could be inside an envelop? Oh, yes, a vip ticket for your favorite band concert! You almost jumped to hug him tightly as soon as you saw the paper on your hands.

Then Leo gave you a paint, with your favorite art piece. That should be expensive, you practically didn't wanna even touch to not ruin it. But it was so beautiful, and so meaningful. You couldn't believe he remembered when you talked about this.

Jaehwan was the next one, and you could cry looking at that. He gave you an album with all of your pictures together, since the beginning of your friendship, and the cover was a map of how the stars were aligned when you were born.

Hongbin didn't forget how much you loved to travel and get to know different cultures, but since he couldn't just travel with you, he gave you an globe that could work as a lamp too, and you absolutely loved it.

Hyuk bought you some shirts that you were dying to have for a while but couldn't buy because the campaign had already ended. You didn't know how he purchase those beautiful clothes, but you were very grateful and ready to rock with your new outfit.

And lastly was Wonshik. Very excited to know about it, you opened the bag and saw a little velvet box. He was shy looking at you, and you gasped out loud seeing the rose gold necklace, having an Saturn's pendant, and with a part of the necklace passing through Saturn's ring, holding a star on the end. It was so lovely, made you speechless.

"Look inside the box."

You did as Ravi told. There was a message in there that made all your feelings come to the surface.

"I can feel no gravity. The thing that drags me in is only you."

You legit teared up. And having nothing to say, you just did the first thing that popped into your mind: pecked Wonshik's lips.

It was indeed a surprise, but you would cherish this memory for your entire life, no doubt.

Your head shook as Haknyeon walked across to you with another cushion in his hand. “I don’t need any more you know.”

He placed the cushion down beside you anyway, tucking it into your side. “It’s better to have it here just in case you start getting uncomfortable with the bump through the night.”

“I can’t move for cushions all around me Haknyeon.”

He looked around your frame, nodding in agreement with you. “Maybe I might have grabbed a couple too many cushions for you to make you cosy.”

“You think,” you chuckled, “there’s hardly any room for you too.”

“I just want to make sure that you don’t get disturbed,” Haknyeon sighed softly, dropping down beside you. “I know what you’re like, you don’t like to say when you’re struggling.”

“If you want one, wake me to get it,” Haknyeon corrected, “other than that, I agree with you.”

Your eyes glanced back, sighing to yourself as you noticed Taekwoon just behind you. “Are you following me around?”

As another groan came from you, Jaehwan stopped what he was doing and looked at you. “I’m alright,” you told him.

His head shook as he walked across to where you were laid out on the bed. “You’re obviously not alright if you’re making that noise, what’s going on? What’s wrong?”

“The baby is just a bit restless right now.”

Straight away, Jaehwan laid down beside you, wrapping his arm around your waist. “I’ll try and get them to calm down and let you rest for a while.”

“You’re busy,” you told him. “You don’t need to do this.”

“I do if it helps you out Y/N,” Jaehwan quickly corrected, “what I’m doing isn’t really that important anyway, definitely not as important as the two of you are to me anyway.”

“Thank you,” you whispered back to Jaehwan as his hand moved around your tummy in circles to ease the pain.

“Anything,” he hummed in response, “you know that you can always count on me, don’t you?”

“Of course, you’re the best Jae.”

Ravi:

Your smile was wide as Wonsik got out of the bed and walked across to you. “Thank you,” you chuckled across to him.

His hands reached out and intertwined in with yours, “you’re lucky you’re pregnant otherwise I’d be so mad about you waking me up right now just to help you up.”

“It’s a hard job to do with a huge baby bump you know.”

“I know,” Wonsik agreed, counting down from three before pulling you up onto your feet so that you could get out of bed and head over to use the bathroom.

“Thank you,” you told him again, “I really appreciate it.”

“Do you need anymore help?” Wonsik asked you as you began to walk around the bedroom. “Do I need to wait in case you need some help getting back into the bed as well?”

“Getting back into bed is the fun bit,” you joked, “I can just drop down and roll onto my side and I’m tucked back in.”

“You’re impossible,” Wonsik grinned, “you’ve still got to be careful just dropping down Y/N.”

“Don’t worry, it’s all under control.”

Hyuk:

You couldn’t help but allow your smile to grow as an arm moved around your waist. “Are you alright?” You looked to Sanghyuk.

His head nodded in reply to you as the two of you walked, “I’m just holding onto your bump, it’s a bit busy around here and I don’t want for anyone to end up knocking you.”

“I’m pretty good at moving out of the way.”

Sanghyuk carried on nodding in agreement with you, “even if you can move, it’s better to be safe than sorry and have me holding onto your bump.”

“You’re cute,” you grinned, “you care so much about us.”

“Of course,” Sanghyuk smiled in reply to you, “you’re heavily pregnant, and you’ve got our baby in there too, there’s no way that I could just leave you to fend for yourself Y/N.”

Hongbin: *Taken by surprise he playfully judges it and nitpicks to cover up how touched he is by it.*

“Y/n, I’m disappointed.” He pouted, holding the doll up to his face. “See.” He pointed at the doll, then his face. “I��m cuter than this.”

Sanghyuk: *Gets childish and remembers Voodoo Doll era, making the doll dance to it.*

summary: you are just an ordinary neighbor in an ordinary neighborhood, but when you hear muffled gunshots from your neighbor? it concerned you, so you called the police like any normal person would.. right?

You slung your bag to the floor as you slammed the door shut. You got back home from your work. It was pretty stressful today so all you wanted to do was to jump into bed and sleep. You didn’t have work tomorrow, you worked 4 days a week which was a plus but the hours were horrible. You slipped off your shoes and bolted up the stairs. Your bed has never looked so warm and inviting. So, you quickly jumped into bed as you sighed feeling the mattress support your weight. You melted into the bed slipping the covers up.

Nothing could disturb this night's sleep, right?

bang.

You bolted up out of sleep, was that a gunshot? You threw the blankets off, it sounded like it came from the boy who lives to your left. “Was that from Sanghyuk’s place..? Is he ok?” You, obviously not a hero, decided to call 911. You were concerned about what happened. You heard that mafia was starting to become a problem in this city. You hoped nothing happened to the boy who next door, he was extremely nice to you. Han Sanghyuk. Please be safe?

You grabbed your phone as thoughts raced your head. Anything could have happened. You quickly dialed 911 and put your phone to your ear. You started to pace around your room before the call was answered.

“911, what is your emergency?” “Hi... Yes, I was awoken to hear a muffled gunshot from my neighbors' house..”

They asked for the address and then told you that police are on the way. You thanked them and ended the call. With a sigh, you sat on the stairs anxiously waiting to hear cars.

After almost falling asleep and checking the time, 4:29 am... Where are the cars? There is a police station not even five minutes away? Why is it taking them 20 minut-

There were loud knocks at the door, you got shaken out of your thoughts as you panicked. ‘Who would knock at my door?’ You opened the door cautiously before seeing your neighbor, Sanghyuk. You quirked an eyebrow, “Hyuk? Is there something wrong?” You were about to say something else but you noticed the psychotic look on his face and the small drop of crimson on his cheek. Your eyes widened as you started to shut the door, “Well.. nice talk, I’ll just be-” He pushed the door open before clasping his large hands around your mouth. You kicked and tried to scream, you heard him groan as you kicked him really hard. “Aish, just be a good kitten and I won’t hurt you.” You stopped thrashing as he smirked in victory.

He slung you over his shoulder and carried you out of the door, you only saw your door, shut as he walked you to a car. He mumbled something before putting you down and knocking you out, Before you were unconscious you heard his soft mumbles of “I’m sorry.”

You woke up in a dark room that was decorated in red. A dark red. You sat up and looked to see if there were any ways of escape. You tried the windows that showed the dark outside, ‘How long have I been here?’. The windows were locked tightly as you saw a door, you went to it and tried to open it to be met with it being locked too. You sighed and slid down the door to sit on the floor. You rested you head in your hands, lost in your thoughts.

‘Where am I? Why am I even here? What was the gunshot? Where were the police? Why am I locked in a room? Why did Hyuk knock me out? What did he mean by what he said?’

You were shaken out of your thoughts at the soft knocks at your door telling you someone is coming in. You crawled away from the door to look at the door open and see Sanghyuk. He had a cold face as he scanned the room for you until his eyes landed on you on the floor. His face softened as he came in and shut the door, sitting beside you. “You know it’s no good to call the police on a mafia.” You froze and repeated the last word. “Mafia...?”

He chuckled and stroked your cheek, “You thought there was nothing weird about me? You never saw the amounts of people and looks of people that came to my house? You never saw the people who followed you?” You looked at your hands and fiddled with your fingers anxiously. He hummed, “Hey-” He hooked his finger under your chin and lifted it up to his gaze. “I like you, and also you’re a target. So I’m here to protect you. You’re special and people will try to take you, but not on my watch.” You shivered as your eyes widened at the sincerity in his eyes and voice. You were about to say something but he cut you off,

“Hold that thought, kitten.” His smirk returned as he stood up, “I’ll have someone in here to protect and occupy you, I have business to handle.”

Sanghyuk walked away and out of the room, hearing the door shut and lock. You panicked, ‘Mafia? Sanghyuk? Target? Protect?’ This was all too much for you to handle. You stood up and dragged yourself to the empty corner of the room that you barely slid in because of a drawer in the way. You sat there deep in thought as you barely even heard the door open and a voice calls your name. You slowed your breathing and made no noise as the voice called your name again, “Y/N? Y/N? Where are you?” The boy locked and shut the door before walking around the room with a flashlight. He then started to make his way to your corner as the flashlight shined on you. You raised your hand at the sudden brightness and he quickly mumbled an apology and turned it off.

The boy tried to use sweet words to coax you out of the spot, he felt calm, he seemed gentle. He must have noticed your fear when he had found you. You found yourself slowly crawling to him as he held out his arms. You crawled into his embrace. “Hey, I’m Hakyeon, I’ll be looking after you when Sanghyuk isn’t here, so I’m hoping you will like me.” He chuckled softly as you embraced him in fear. “Mafia?” You whispered softly into his ear, “Yes, Sanghyuk is the leader of our Mafia called VIXX. I’m one of his most trusted men. I know it must be scary, but I promise you Sanghyuk has good intentions on bringing you here.” You noticed next to the bed there was a clock, it read, 1:02 am. “What is the ‘good intentions’?” You slowly spoke, seeming scared of the answer. He stroked your back softly and replied, “You called the cops, right? If Sanghyuk wasn’t alerted and watching you, then he could have been captured. That also risked other mafias safety since we were dealing with a mafia who broke a deal, so, other mafias were mad and at the time they would have found out and tried to track you down.” You clutched onto him tighter at the thought, “Then why do you guys want to protect me?” Hakyeon pulled away from the embrace to look you in the eyes, ”Because Sanghyuk loves you, there's a reason why he watches over you.”

Later that night, Hakyeon had put you to bed and sat near the door waiting for Sanghyuk to come back. Of course, you had questions that you asked Hakyeon but Hakyeon answered them to the best of his ability. Later, Sanghyuk sighed as he had entered his house, he went into the downstairs bathroom to face himself in the mirror, he saw the splash of blood on his cheek and washed his face before leaving to go to the room you were currently. He opened the door and immediately Hakyeon stood up to see who entered, one hand in his back pocket. Once he noticed it was Sanghyuk, he untensed. “It’s just you.” Hakyeon smiled before leaving the room quickly. Sanghyuk locked the door and groaned slightly, he hated having to go do things every day. It was busy for him since he was the mafia leader. He lazily took off his shirt and slid into bed with you. He smiled at your sleeping face and wrapped his arm around you, pulling you to his chest. You, still being in the middle of a dream, curled up into him for heat. The room was extremely cold, Sanghyuk never knew what it was. His room was just naturally cold.

You woke up to find Sanghyuk smiling down at you. You quickly pushed away from him and looked at him, scared. His smile quickly faded, “What’s wrong? Is it me?” His tone suddenly got scary. ‘He’s the mafia leader, why would you make him mad?’ You panicked and quickly took back what you did. You shook your head, “No... You just startled me.” He lifted his arm up for you to go back to your previous spot. You crawled back to the spot and he held you close to him. His chin rested on the top of your head, as you listened to his soft heartbeat you thought about things, ‘Is it going to be bad here? Is it best to just try and love him? Is he really safe?’

You decided just to go to sleep, this was all too stressful.
