I'd like to remind everyone that seeing such a radical push towards the right and towards facism is a sign of fear. 60% of the US wants abortion rights, many Russians don't want war with Ukraine, I'd like to think all people in the UK want to be able to critique their government. We have the numbers on our side and the next generation is much more progressive and the people in power know this but they're hoping we tear each other apart before we see this. We're going in the right direction, the government just doesn't reflect this and if anything is trying to combat it.

Please contact your representatives and tell them KOSA is a bad bill. I am hopeful we can all still fight back.

But if on the horrifying chance KOSA is passed, I will use my legal right as a US citizen over the age of 18 to draw everybody who voted yes pregnant and send it to them via mail

If it's not porn- it's not illegal, Congress must "read" their mail, and all forms of peaceful protest are protected

If KOSA passes, I encourage all who can draw and edit pictures to be ready to do the same because again if it's just the congress man, woman, or nonbinary individual posed fully clothed but 9mo pregnant or holding a positive pregnancy test, it doesn't qualify as revenge porn that can get you arrested or fined.

Okay so I'm just going to put this out there: y'all really need to learn what a President can and cannot do.

A President is NOT a dictator. They cannot do just whatever they want, whenever they want. This is a good thing.

A President can only codify a law IF IT IS PASSED BY CONGRESS FIRST.

Biden literally cannot do anything other than urge people do the right thing until a resolution passes Congress.

Since partway through Clinton's term Congress has been doing less and less every year because of shitty political maneuvering.

Please get mad at the right people. Yell at your Congress person. Vote in midterms to solidify a Democratic house and help turn the Senate (don't at me about the Senate right now--two "Democratic" senators are really Republicans and we all know it).

Don't even try to tell me voting doesn't work. How do you think we got a 6-3 majority in the SC? Because Republicans have been systematically showing up to every local and state election for over 30 years and now they have majority control of 26 states. They have control in the majority of state judicial branches. They showed up to the boring, uncool elections. They control city councils. They control state governments. And Democrats/third party could, too...if people show up to vote. But voting numbers don't lie. And we don't.

Get involved in grassroot organizations to increase voting registration and access. Stacy Abrams helped GA vote blue in the last Presidential election because she and her organizers got people to the polls. AL a while back got a Democratic senator for 2 years because we got people to vote. Republican politicians openly discuss the fact they only have the support of 30% of the country. But only that 30% consistently turns out to the polls. They have also openly said that they spread the word voting doesn't work so they can keep winning. When you say voting doesn't work you are spreading Republican propaganda.

Yes Japan allied with germany in world ward II, but they didn’t really do it because they agreed with germany. Like i’m not giving Japan a pass on anything they’ve done (they’re very much a coloniser as well)

But Japan joined germany out of anger a spit not out of shared ideology. Japan was angry they got short shafted after world war I where they fought alongside the allied forced and helped win some major battles, and then when it came to making a peace treaty they got nothing.

They didn’t get any labd like britian, france and the USA.

They didn’t even really get invited to be a part of the peace treaty like other countries on the winning side.

Japan joined Germany more out of frustration than being actual fascists. Like, yes. Their country has gone a really sort of terrible way in terms of government and they did commit a lot of war crimes and murder for the sake of getting rid of people they deemed ‘beneath them’

But had the other allied countries shown them even an ounce of respect after world war I maybe they would have stayed on their side.

I don't know if this is just me personally, but i really, really don't want to see a HYDRA Cap on screen tbh. Not unless its made really, really clear that Steve would never work with or for HYDRA, or if it's a Schmidt-stole-Steves-body-situation.
