Something I only just noticed in Narnia TLWW was the symbols on the backs of each Pevensie’s throne, and how each throne has the gift they were given by Father Christmas on their journey to defeat the witch, carved into its back.
Except, of course, Edmund’s. Because he wasn’t there.
So what did they choose for Edmund’s symbol? At first I couldn’t make out much beyond a vaguely similar sword to the one Peter’s throne has on it’s back, but when I looked closer it got far more interesting.
At first I thought ‘why is Edmund’s symbol a sword breaking a stick? that’s so weird’ 😂 but after a bit of digging on the narnia wiki I found out it’s way cooler than that.
Like??? That is so awesome??? His gift isn’t an object, it’s an action.
The sword itself isn’t even significant in the way Peter’s is, it’s the act of turning against Jadis, of breaking her wand, her power, that is Edmund’s defining symbol.
But wait, it gets better.
These absolute geniuses also designed Edmund’s symbol to look like a set of scales??? Are you kidding me??? And they totally succeeded as well because just looking at the deliberate shape of the broken staff with the sword running through the middle it lines up so beautifully.
Anyway, all this to say I fricking love this series so, so much, the production design is 😍😍😍 and Edmund’s arc is so perfectly carried through all the films I would quite literally die for him.

Update 3: Another update, I know. This fixes the wardrobe completely. I had to remake it from scratch but it now has anims and working wall masks! Get it HERE (Post download is updated)
Update 2: Forgot to update the collection file with the new GUIDs, download it HERE
Update: Changed the GUIDs to the one in the block I claimed way back in 2018, redownload if you've downloaded it :)
One of my favourite furniture sets over the years has always been the Tivoli, Plantation set by blake_boy over at ModTheSims. As well as some super cute dressers by rgdyanne over at Sims2Artists. I heavily recommend both sets with this pack.
I've used it way too many times and around October of 2022, I ended up feeling like I wanted to work on some addons for it. I've always wanted to get into making actual objects in Sims 2 since I love making things for another irrelevant game I mod. I decided this would be a great way to try and learn.
Included is the following:
Pet Bed (Linen is slaved to maxis bedding)
Cat Condo (Fabric is slaved to Los Gatos Condominums/cheap condo)
Bunk Bed + Ladder + Top Bunk Mattress
2 Tile Armoire
1 Tile Armoire
Bookshelf (Plus Empty Version)
4-Tier Shelf
4 different Shelf Inserts
Pet Bed Shelf Insert for 4-Tier Shelf (Bed slaved to Comfy Pet Pillow)
Wall Shelf
Thin Shelf/DVD Unit
Thin alternatives to end tables in the original set
Tiny open end table
Built In Closet (Based on the Apartment Life one)
2 Tile Desk
There is also the option of desk widening! I find that on the original desks, my sims' PCs would hang off the edge which is not ideal.
I'll keep them separate in case you want to keep the originals :) Same filename and GUID as the original. I did try to make the wider ones a separate GUID but it didn't work so I'm gonna leave that for now and figure it out at some point.

@pickletrip gave me the BEST pre-easter present today (not that I really celebrate mind you, I just appreciate the long weekend off 😏) by pointing out an unexpected early appearance of a shirt on the Thai Communal Wardrobe list in Love By Chance season 2.
I'm not updating the original post with it yet, though, because it's also going to be worn in Deep Night at some point, but I can't tell you how happy it has made me. This shirt has been worn seven times now, with 3.5 years between the first sighting and the most recent.
Anyway, this brilliant news spurred me on to do a scroll through of LBC 2 and I was pikachu-faced when I saw this dinosaur shirt on Can...
...because it's one that's stood out for me from another well-known series that I've always wondered if I'd see it again (to be fair there are a lot of items of clothing like this for me 🤭) AND NOW I HAVE!
So, before I make a post about this new item, I'll give 1000 bonus points to whoever recognises where else it's been used/worn 😁
