actually it's kind of wild that aziraphale left for heaven to try and save humanity and the human audience of the show has just been like "0/10 terrible decision go back to your demon partner" about it
aziraphale: I shall bravely sacrifice everything that makes me happy because I have a duty to protect the world
the world: boo no

I don't think I can get over this little moment with Donnie when they're trying to save Leo from the prison dimension.
Our boy is PISSED. We've seen him upset and frustrated a few times throughout the show but this? This is pure rage.
Leo is the one Donnie has butted heads with the most throughout the show and movie. They argue and they tease each other, but at the end of the day, they love each other. I think we see the culmination of that right here, where Donnie is furious at the thought of losing Leo again and is determined to get him back.
He doesn't even say anything here, which I think makes this more impactful since this is just another moment of raw emotion from Mr. "Emotionally Unavailable". It's such a small moment but it's an important one, especially for Donnie's character.

it is funny though how kids' shows are so so so careful about death, no one's ever killed except MAYYYYBE the big bad, all those random side characters are fine, here have a quick shot of them before we leave just so you know they really did survive that 50-foot drop into a stormy sea,
and meanwhile kids' books nearly all agree that it's not an adventure until it has a body count.

You make Dogday look the perfect amount of tired and ready to do whatever it takes to keep Angel safe. Also, thanks fkr reminding me to watch PP: Chapter 3
thats the kinda vibe i want him to give off; a good boy, a loyal companion, and, once he's healed, absolutely ready to throw down if his angel is in danger. like, he knows they can handle themselves, he knows they're "capable," but he cares for them. he doesn't want to see them hurt anymore after everything they've done for him.
and while i like the idea of him canonically missing his lower half and learning to make do without it (i think y/n could rig up one of those little wheelchairs they give dogs who've lost their back legs, but much bigger), i may draw an offshoot.
personally, i don't think y/n could make new legs for dogday. they're likely not a neurosurgeon, and that's a lot rewiring to do, considering his entire pelvis is gone. however, if it was just his legs missing, they may be able to make some prosthetics. idk, i may also draw an au where he doesn't lose his lower half at all and is just another survivor who teams up with the player.

if 9&10 were "dont wander off", and 11&12 were "the doctor lies", 13s rule #1 is "dont question me"
"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules
i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen
and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway
