I just finished watching it and dfdgfgfsdfkkfjsd many many thoughts!! 😭 I mean, I've been smiling and swooning about the whole thing stupidly since the morning but now I'm just a puddle on the floor 🥺

First of all, his fucking smile when he was texting Olli, it's too much cuteness 😭😭😭 And then he kept checking his phone to see if Olli had answered?! Like, constantly?! Aleksiiiiiiii your crush is showing SO bad it's almost embarrassing (except that it's not, it's just friggin' cute) 💞 The DELIGHT on his face whenver there was a new message from Olli, and dffgddffsfsssf can we also just take a moment to imagine OLLI in the dead of night being so completely down with the idea of looking for spooky stories for Aleksi's stream, because it's not like he had anything better to do, apparently? Come ooooooooooooon guys what are you doing 😭😭😭😭😭 What was the time even at this part? Getting close to 1 AM? Oh god, imagine Olli just sitting in the dark browsing the internet for something suitable for Aleksi's stream, and Aleksi didn't even have to ask, Olli suggested it himself 🥺 Because he's a supportive boyfriend like that 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

My headcanon for what happened afterwards is that they kept texting each other about how Aleksi's stream went and just about anything, maybe there was even a late-late-night phone call with soft, low voices... 💓 I'm so happy they'll be back on tour soon and they can resume their late-night talks in person again 💕

Imagine if Olli stayed at Aleksi's the night before they fly to the US and they did a stream together from Aleksi's studio?? I would combust 😭

Aleksi mentioned something about his "biggest fear" but didn't want to elaborate because "then it might happen" or smth -> what if his biggest fear is to fall for a bandmate but he can't even think about it because that would mean he'd have to admit that has already happened 😭 /shippyglasses

Also, a fic idea popped into my head: Karl the studio ghost is real and he's trying to spook Aleksi and his "very close friend", but he fails because Aleksi and Olli are too lost in each other hanging at Aleksi's studio 🥰

No, actually! It's been quite the opposite for the DN fandom; I see lots of BroTPs that I turn into full ships. Terraito being first and foremost 🙏

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

OH yeah, absolutely. Mostly because of asshole antis always touting their "superior" holy ship against our barbaric "inferior" ship lmao like after a while the whole thing just gets tainted with drama. I can't see a kiribaku post without rolling my eyes, aND I THOUGHT THEY WERE CUTE AT FIRST. I was getting the same way with bakudeku too because of how shitty the shippers started being to other shippers, namely my fellow shigadekus, and bakudeku was my first OTP in that fandom!! They got REAL uppity and it drives me insane because they now do the same shit to other people that antis used to do to us. They get just as bad as the kiribaku nuts now istg. I faded out of the bigger part of the fandom before it got to the point of total abandonment though lol.

...Damn I guess I needed to rant about that >^> But yes! Yes it has! :D

13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character (L)?

I have several of them about L! The main thing of which would be that that man is the most whorish virgin alive. He has absolutely NO rizz and his version of flirting is intricate infuriating mind games—a foolish misstep from his supposed beau might very well be cause for him to grow instantly bored of them. He thinks people are gross and too emotional he has NEVER touched another human being's genitals except for his own, and he doesn't even like doing that. Even when he IS interested enough to put in the effort, the effort is fumbling. NO idea what he's doing. But he's very eager to learn, and quickly at that ;3 He makes up for his lack of experience by being utterly shameless, laying himself out on tables naked and covered in whip cream, saying the most off the wall horny shit you've ever heard that would makes pornstars blush in horror, chasing after what he wants like a dog and not letting up until he gets that pretty pillow to hump. Learning on the go is very useful for when you finally catch your prey in an inconvenient place 🙏

The second biggest one is a two-parter ✌️ The first part being that I don't think he gives a shit about the Wammy Kids. No familial or even fond feelings for those brats whatsoever, maybe a sense of irritation if anything. Tiny pawns in the wings if he ever needs them. The second part being that if he did give a shit about any of them it would be Mello, and still not,,,in a fond or familial way. More of a 'better keep an eye on that one because he's leaning a lot towards the grayer side of the morality scale which is a lot like me but also a lot like someone whose name starts with B and ends with eyondbirthday so lets not do that again mkay thanks' way ✨

I also think that he'd be more fun if he was completely evil but that's just me 💅

I try to respond to all of them! Sometimes I get behind, but I usually get to them by the time I post a new chapter, at least.

Uhh probably i've looked at clouds from both sides now. Even though only one of the major characters dies, it somehow still feels angstier than the literal necrophilia fic where they both die.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I feel like most of my other fics have a happy ending? Both of the completed multi-chaps I linked above definitely do.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I occasionally get a rude comment, but I have no qualms about being a dick or just deleting/blocking. I have gotten a few tumblr anons that made me roll my eyes, but any hate I get has been firmly a THEM problem and not a ME problem. Haters stay pressed. 💅

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

It's a rare day when I do not write smut. I write all kinds. Since writing in the Daemyra fandom, my list of "hard no's" when it comes to writing has rapidly diminished; it seems like every other day I discover a new kink that makes my brain do a record-scratch. I started writing fic again in 2020, and published baby's first smut shortly thereafter, but it was fairly standard stuff. Now I'm like "well if you aren't literally digesting your lover, is it really romance??!"

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

The only crossover I've written is a House of the Dragon/Naked Attraction crackfic that infected my brain during the depths of binge of the latter show.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Only one that I know of - someone copy/pasted all of do you really feel alive without me into different chapters of their ""fic"".

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

for our blood is restless was translated into Russian here.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. My writing process is chaotic and inconsistent and I would not inflict that on another writer. I'm also very particular about what I do and do not want to write, as well as my prose, so I don't think co-writing is for me. If we don't like to break the rules of English grammar in the exact same way, I'm afraid we won't be able to get along.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

I mean, I think it's pretty obvious. 😅 Daemon Targaryen/Rhaenyra Targaryen (House of the Dragon) has only been my OTP for <2 years, but they are already my all time favorite. Prior to that, it was Dramione (Harry Potter), Cullen Rutherford/Female Inquisitor (Dragon Age: Inquisition), and Aloy/Avad (Horizon Zero Dawn).

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Not technically a single WIP, but I always meant to add more stories to my collection of Cullen/Inquisitor Dragon Age fics (most of which I posted during Swoon June 2022). It's possible I'll experience another burst of inspo for that fandom when Dragon Age: Dreadwolf finally comes out, but I'm pretty firmly entrenched in Daemyra for the foreseeable future.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue, characterization, ANGST. I think my smut is pretty hot. Idk I generally like everything about my writing. That's why I keep doing it.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Uhhh anything to do with plotting or planning. We thrive on vibes here. ✌️

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Beyond the occasional word or phrase in High Valyrian for my HOTD/ASOIAF fics, I cannot be bothered. Italics and a dialogue tag do me just fine.

This changes semi-regularly, but my current favorite is one that I'm actively writing - a Daemyra early marriage canon divergence (milk teeth). Also because I just re-read this the other night - surrender (a rare non-Daemyra HOTD fic).

On a serious note, what 🤮 did was actually really messed up. I don’t know if she was aware of Jay & y/n’s volatile history but bringing someones ex back into their life, especially when you don’t know their history, is reckless and potentially dangerous.

I can’t remember if you said if there was any physical ab*se in the relationship, but the way he grabbed y/n wrist at the apartment, I’d say he was a couple steps away from it.

🤮 insane need to eliminate the non competition, unknowingly brought y/n’s abuser back into her life and could have potentially put her safety at risk.

I know is say all the time I’m not a violent person but 🤮 is just sooo annoyingly punchable and I wouldn’t be opposed to y/n kicking her a**. It would be cute to have sunwoo playfully scold y/n for fighting when she told him not to hit Jay or we could go down the non violent route 🙄 and have y/n just curse her out instead

I kinda wanna be the first to ship Jay & 🤮 maybe her crazy, will out crazy, his crazy and then they can torment or be the catalyst for change in each other. Either way they’d leave the normal people to live in peace lol

The way that people, especially anime-only fans are so quick to judge kurogane's relationship to tomoyo as romantic when there's literally no evidence of it only to treat kurofai as a fun friendship when their love for each other is so vital to the central story being told never sat right with me. Now, it is easy to say he is the most badass because of his strength. I know that. But his force goes really beyond that. Kurogane is not a really talkative person, but just like Doumeki he still shows how deeply he cares about the ones he love and how fiercely protective he is. And you also have the fact that he shows to be a wise man, who knows much more about life than killing with his sword.

• Most epic villain

Seishirou is a bastard, but good lord, he knows how to be THE bastard. Fei-Wang should take notes on how to be a villain

• Pairing i am not a fan of

If i see one more person who ships watanuki with Yuuko i swear

• Character I feel the writers screwed up (one way or another)

The clones deserved better. Like, clamp did not gave them justice. They deserved a happiness equal to the suffering they and their sons went through.

FAI AND SAKURA. Big Kitty and Little Kitty, the most iconic duo in all of time and space. I am at the same time amazed and destroyed by their love for each other. Fai calling her "my Princess" will be the death of me

Favourite thing about them:

Absolutely love his slow devolution into both obsession and madness, as the game slowly reveals just how loathed and isolated LaCroix really is in a city he’s supposed to be ruling over. It’s really compelling and interesting and I think a lot can be extrapolated about his background, inner thoughts, and emotions that the game plays straight, no big twists like he was actually the good guy or w/e, just a wretched, pathetic little bastard til the end, and that’s something I really love lmao, lots to play around with. The way everything culminates with his staring at the sarcophagus and just Watching the timer tick down while he starts laughing? delicious. love it

Least favourite thing about them:

White Wolf/Troika does a Lot to emasculate him and like. portray less masculine men as a joke or laughing stock and there are parts where the fans etc can make it work but like. hmg. concerning. 

Favourite line:

lmao it’s between ‘STOLEN? HOW! GARY. Gary you TREASONOUS MAGGOT. I should have anticipated your TREACHERY, SEWER RAT’ like. go off i guess akjdfjsd, big up to his va for such a solid job at portraying LaCroix, he really brought a lot of depth to LaCroix with his performance.

With Skelter, another veteran. If they manage to either ignore or see past political allegiances and hostility, which is uh. difficult lmao

OTP:

You probably haven’t heard of it but LaCroix / Nines is pretty fun,,,, It’s a pretty niche ship and idk if anyone has hear me talking about it or anything 💅🙄

nOTP:

I’m usually squicked out by any ship that portrays LaCroix as an abuser/manipulator. It’s a valid read of his character but not one I want to consume, really. other than that; probably him and Cross, but i’ve talked about not rlly vibing with that ship before

Random headcanon:

Had two older brothers who died in different campaigns and a young sister who was born via surrogate when he was about 19. She’s all that’s left of the La Croix line and LaCroix never managed to find her when he was free to search. She just kind of disappeared, with his and his brothers’ things ending up in the Napoleonic sections of museums around Europe and NA, including LaCroix’s journal from that time. 

Unpopular opinion:

Woobifying LaCroix would be so so easy and if the fan circle for VtMB gets a bit bigger/full of people who kind of impress their own pre-set fandomification onto different characters without like actually investing or thinking critically about it, I’m v concerned that that will happen lmao. It does a disservice to both his character and his actions in the story.

I have never, and I mean NEVER, watched a show where the man loves his wife as much as Judd loves Grace. He sat in that car as the water rose around them willing to die with her, hand in hand, because that's the way he wanted to go. Because he is nothing and there is nothing without her. He broke up with her because he thought it was best for her — stupid yes, but done truly because he knows how phenomenal she is. He knew everything she could be and he wanted her to reach her fullest potential, regardless of the agony it caused him. He was ready to pack up his life after 2 MONTHS to be with her because he knew down to the marrow that she was it for him, and there wasn't ever going to be any other. He said it best when he said he'd walk through fire for her, has proved it EVERY SINGLE TIME she's in his sightline and you can just feel the devotion and adoration radiating from him and I will NEVER love a tv couple as much as I love them everyone else can go home

How can anyone be sad about Eddie and Ana dating when it is so narratively clear what her role in the story is? Regardless of any misogynistic implications, Ana's literal role is a stepping stone on Eddie's path to healing and recovery. like. that's not fanon conjecture, that's literally canon. She is designed to be temporary. I'm not saying buddie is going to be a thing; none of us can know until we Know and frankly, I don't think the writers know if buddie is going to be a thing either. But I will say that Eddie dating Ana is an incredibly important and pivotal peak in his character arc, and that this event marks the beginning of his future as a person truly healing from a devastating loss. He's admitted to not being over the death of his wife, probably not over the fact that she was ready and willing to divorce him like two hours before her death, but now he's willing to try and I'm so GLAD we get to track his healing and recovery fully instead of the writers just skipping through his healing like it's nothing. anyways I could rant about this forever but I'd literally die for him and you guys need to stop stressing out over nothing 😭

All I wanted in this episode was to see Eddie standing in support of Buck against his parents and he DID. No, he wasn't there for the dinners or anything like that, but he told Buck point blank that he had nothing to apologise for.

OK seriously think about that for a moment. When is the last time ANYONE has told Evan Buckley that he has nothing to apologise for? Eddie did something for Buck that not many people do for him: he validated his feelings. He told him it was okay to be pissed, he told him he had a right to be angry and hurt, even though his delivery wasn't the greatest. And not only is this significant development on Eddie's part (actually engaging in emotionally demanding conversation? the same man who literally ran off to war instead of dealing with whatever was going on at home?? okay), this episode also posited Eddie as exactly the kind of person Buck needs. like, obviously I'm a shipper so I'm gonna look at things with shipper glasses, but even taking those off for a minute: Eddie stood in Buck's corner when no one else who mattered (even Maddie, though I'm not mad at her) did. That's a good friend. That's a good partner. like??? ugh we were fed so good in this episode y'all, eat up

i should not be allowed to do this because the last three seasons i have completely skipped around for the so-called highlights but whateva

also! this is based on opinion and how much i like the ship/how much content i consume of it. and not how toxic or canon compliant it is.

hehe let’s do it

KLAINE (kurt x blaine) - and listen if u have klaine slander ur entitled to that. it is in no way a perfect ship, it has its moments for sure. but this is not the place for your discourse so kindly take that somewhere else. anyway i love these guys. so freakin much. they have such good chemistry and the way that they look at each other… chef’s effing kiss. this isn’t just a klaine post tho so i’ll keep it moving.

FABERRY (rachel x quinn) - eeee what do i even say?! first of all quinn is so queer coded it’s unbelievable. like ur telling me that girl isn’t a lesbian? come on. and second, i never saw rachel as gay until i came across this ship, but i see it as being kind of an insecurity of hers. like, she’s got all this stuff going for her and a secret she doesn’t know how to let out? idk. queer!Rachel doesn’t usually cross my mind except for in this ship cause it’s so cute and i love it

BRITTANNA (brittany x santana) - first of all this was the first canonical wlw ship i was ever really exposed to and they hold a special place in my heart for that considering i like girls 💅. but in all seriousness, i love their chemistry, i love santana’s whole “i hate everyone but you” thing and brittany just being fabulous and perfect. they are two of my fave characters also so…

BLAM (blaine x sam) - okay, so i don’t consider myself a multi shipper, but… if i had to pick up a backup for blaine, and if we’re staying within canon, relatively, i would have liked to see this as a hook up or a short lived thing in season 4 after blaine cheats on kurt :( or maybe in season 6 before the wedding bevause if everything is so effed up anyway might as well exchange that whole karofsky situation… yikes. it’s not endgame for me because they’re just bros but i do really like the idea

QUINNTANA (quinn x santana) - this was the gateway drug that led me to faberry which is why it’s in number five. i’m not going to lie, they had a lot of sexual tension in seasons 3-4 and that hookup at the ‘wedding’ was long awaited. again not endgame, but it’s more endgame material than blam. the reason it’s lower on the list is because i don’t care as much about their relationship dynamic as friends as i do with blaine and sam.

PEZBERRY (santana x rachel) - i need to stop prefacing like this because pretty much nothing on this list qualifies as endgame anymore after britanna. this is cute. would i read a fic about it? yeah. would i gush over fanart? sure. would i freak out of this had been canon in any way? definitely. but it’s not a hardcore ship, and they wouldn’t end up together.

MIKE X TINA - we’re really getting to the idc section of this post, because i have literally zero opinions on mike chang. i love tina though, and i think she was the best when she was with him… particularly in season 3. i love season 3 tina. love her!

FINCHEL (finn x rachel)- again, i don’t care. finn is a very neutral character imo - like i never really felt strongly one way or the other about him his whole time on the show. but, i liked seeing him happy with rachel, even though it seriously got in the way of my otp

ARTINA (artie x tina) hated this in season 1, hated it in season 6. but, it would have been cute if the writers had given it more thought instead of just making it a side ship, because they were obsessed with having everyone in the glee club pair up. ugh, i don’t know. it could be okay if it was actually done well.

ok, now onto the ships i don’t really like but decided to share my thoughts on anyway. ugh…

HEVANS (kurt x sam) - no? i mean, there’s nothing inherently wrong except they hardly have a relationship, at least in the better part of the series. i just don’t see the appeal tbh. no hate to hevans shippers though :)

PARTIE (puck x artie) - listen i don’t like pick and i definitely wouldn’t say i ship this… but it’s interesting. i’m not opposed. i’m sorry idk what this is either

PINN (?) (puck x finn) - listen… tina’s dream sequence where they were supposed to be playing kurt and blaine? it was freakin cute and while i just think they hate each other too much to ever have a romantic relationship, i think a one-sided pining situation is cute for them, or maybe a short lived high school thing. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. not endgame.

QUICK (quinn x puck) - it’s inherently problematic. i could go on and on about how quinn deserves better but it would be awful not even to mention the degree to which this is messed up. puck literallt sexually assaulted quinn- he got her drunk so he could have sex with her. it’s a big no for me. besides, even if that didn’t happen, these two would never make it.
