Since Nales is bound to Dynamis in some way, I like to think his black hair changed to something more colourful like red once he was "free" from his dark past and feelings, showing off more of his own self like being passionate about stuff he likes, throwing tantrums at silly things or even cry over cheap magazines because the horoscope predicted a bad week for him (lmao). I like to think his hair works a bit like certain flower and colour shifting with emotion for long periods of time, like, depending the lifestyle his living at that moment in time and how he feels about it✨

Good morning

I am keeping to my word and working on my fic. The fic is going to introduce Vrtra's daughter! Altan!

Like Vrtra, she is a dragon. but thanks to her other two fathers (Eramus and Estinien) she has a form that resembles an Au Ra and can swap between the two. Though mostly she likes to remain in Au Ra form and only takes her dragon form to fly along side her father.

The fic is basically, her origin story. How she came to be, what her family is like and just how much they all love each other and their little ones! She has three older siblings, Harklan, Marianna and Oselle!

She is a bit of a troublemaker but is the apple of her fathers eye.

As much trouble as she gets into, her fathers adore her and love her to the moon and back! They are all one big happy family.

Spends the first 19 years living peacefully in Radz-at-han where she lived a sheltered life as the heir of her family’s alchemist guild

Spoiled by her family and everyone around her to the point of not knowing most basic skills - is however extremely athletic and has an unprecedented talent for combat

Dreams of becoming a dancer however and joins at the age of 15 Troupe Falsiam with the permission of her parents under the condition that she joins her father’s guid as soon as her 20th summer

Shortly before that, runs away from home and leaves Thavnair to live as a dancer in Aldenard

Moons later survives the Seventh Umbral Calamity in Ul’dah. Due to the calamity has not been able to earn more Gil and decides to start working at an orphanage for 5 years before she traveled to Gridania to join the adventurer’s guild there 5 years later…

A lil drabble with my WoL

I wrote this back when I was on Twitter and I still really like it but it's too short for me to put on AO3 with no context buildup so here you all go instead.

Spoilers for Endwalker (kinda)

Lyra took a few steps before she paused, turning back to the specter of her friend. "Haurchefant, there's something I'd been wondering about for a while now… You always knew Alie was gone, didn't you?" Haurchefant was silent for a moment, a sad smile on his face. "...I did have my suspicions at the time, yes." "Then why did you tell me that you'd hope I'd find him?" Lyra asked, her voice beginning to crack. "If you didn't think he survived, then why tell me to keep going?" "Because," Haurchefant sighed, "I wanted you to prove me wrong. I wanted him to be safe and alive just as much as you did, though I lacked the courage to seek him out." "It really didn't make a difference though," Lyra said quietly. "In the end, he was always gone. Nothing was going to change that." "But Lyra, it has made all the difference." Haurchefant insisted. "Just look around at where you are, where you've been, the things you have done to get this far. Do you think any of this would have been possible if you had not the courage to chase that hope?" Lyra felt her tears run hot down her cheek, unable to muster a reply. Haurchefant took a step towards her, placing a kind hand on her shoulder. "My dear friend, you have traveled across worlds to follow that hope, against all odds, and did what all thought to be impossible. You have saved countless lives, and spread that hope to countless more. And you say it makes no difference?" Lyra sniffled, fighting for words. "I just… I don't know what I'm supposed to do…" Haurchefant smiled, brushing away a tear before planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "What you have always done. You will chase that hope that everything will be alright in the end. And know that it will be enough." Lyra looked up at him. "Enough for what?" "To do the impossible."

I've definitely mentioned my headcanon that Feo Ul occasionally uses fae magic to "gift" Aeryn with (temporary) pixie wings. For giggles. Aeryn struggles to get the hang of them every time and is grateful her lovely branch rarely uses their magic when she's not visiting Il Mheg.

They also just looked really good with her Valentione's glam this year.

The sacrifice post definitely made me think of just how much my WoL sacrificed for everything else. She didn't want to be part of anything grand, quite the opposite, when she woke up in Eorzea six months before the events of ARR she found a quiet life doing small adventures and guard work. She found peace and time to study, learning magic that she was always denied before. Her life before was very regimented even before she joined the Legions, and after when she was discharged it only got more confining.

She gained her personal freedom and the ability to dream of her own future for six glorious months.

Until Fate and Destiny came calling with a very large crystal shaped stick.

Thinking about the peace talk that happens between the Eorzean Alliance and the Empire. Qahs'a specifically. He gets so anxious having to see the Emperor again. Esp after defecting. He considered the man a friend at one point and now he's on the opposing side.

It makes things absolutely worse when he hears Varis' reasons for continuing the war, for continuing what was put forth by the ascians in a bid to try and overtake them? To protect man as they are. Yet its delusion. And Qahs'a just hates the fact that he can empathize with that.

Hate the fact that he can't look up to this man anymore like he did years before he knew all of these things. When he was still oblivious. He wants to punch the man as much as he wants to try and change his mind. No matter how much it won't work.

Warrior of Light Jobs

I've been paying attention a lot on WoL in both the game and out since starting my fic and I'm gonna be honest if I were to write them how the game and some lore shows then wow they are RIDICULOUSLY powerful and that's really fun to me but hard for a story. The game and story does a good job at restricting your power.

Also like, if it is possible to use other job abilities as a different job then WOW. Thancred could pull of Ninja moves as a Gunbreaker and Y'shtola combines the lesser parts of Thauma and Conjurer into Sorceress. Our WoL has access to literally hundreds in that case. I know Job Stones do a good heavy lifting, but even then it says during Heavensward we start creating our own techniques and inscribing them.

Potential number one mage in the world skilled in all the rainbow magics and also knows how to break your bones with all types of weapons and combat arts, all while also holding the aether to use them simultaneously. And if the Shadowbringer's trailer is correct then they're just capable of switching on the fly like that. From Archer- Warrior - Dragoon - Monk, Sam, Dark Knight and all without missing a beat.

Plus them being able to do most stuff on their own, like killing the Knights of the Round Table, most primals, armies, etc all by themselves or even most of the raids and lore-wise probably carrying the Alliance Raids heavily.

Legitimately when I rotate Chara into random media for fun I think wow this woman is scary better make her perpetually tired and oblivious or she'll solve the problem immediately.
