this was such a ethereal song to start off the album, and with the symphony of his unique voice, you are immediately drawn in almost as though a siren were taking you to the depths. Listening to this made me feel almost as if I was in a dream sequence and I'm sorry but I can't help but be addicted to it. The only thing I don't like is the repetition in the second verse, I feel like he could have done more with that and he didn't which was a bit of a disappointment

I didn't like this song as much as I did the others on the album, and it made me sad to say it, but this is still a solid song. It's one of those songs where I really like it, but there are other songs which are just practically better, so I am forced to put it in a lower tier WHICH KILLS ME. Plus I think the feature was a bit uncalled for, but I mean they made it work so I'm not really complaining

THIS WAS SUCH A GOLDEN TITLE TRACK ISTFG. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL F-- WOOSUNG YOU NEED TO CALM TF DOWN ISTFG IM FERAL. This man's KNOWS the affect he has and BOY does he make use of it. But hey, who's really complaining at this point. In any case, I absolutely ADORE this song, I can't get enough of it, and it's perfect title track material, I can't deny. Like even if I liked another song better on the ep I don't think I would want it to replace the title because it's just that perfect

And here we go coming up to my hidden bside gem. I really REALLY love this song and the pain and anger behind the words. It really screams the truth of how you can feel like the loneliest person in a room of a thousand others, and I LOVE THAT. Plus the way he used such simplistic but captivating tones in his instrumental really highlight THAT GEM OF A VOICE and he really makes me feel something with what he says. AHIWKEKDD I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS FOR DAYS but dw I will spare you

Woosung, MOTH EP - “Side Effects” + “Modern Life”

I was really compelled by the imagery and emotion in Woosung’s EP and what he’s talked about the inspiration being for the concept and vibe for it. But instead of focusing on the idea of the moth, I kept seeing suburban houses at night, painted in nighttime blues with warm orange windows. Idk, something about the vibe of the whole EP felt very suburban-stuck to me. It was also fun for me to experiment and draw houses, which isn’t something I do very often. I did four pages in my sketchbook with them and then played around with my favorite digitally, and I like how it came out!
