Boyfriend!X who would always compare his height to yours, even if you're just a couple inches shorter he'll try to subtly show it off wanting you to praise him or smth

"hm, it seems i've grown taller, you can tell right!" he would say in an energetic voice as his lit up while he waits for you to agree.

Boyfriend!X who wouldn't want to admit that when both of you used to be in class, instead of writing notes and listening to the teacher he was instead writing down about how you looked today. The small changes that he began noticing, you tying up your hair more due to the hot weather, the new keychain on your pencil case that you were matching with your friend.

"jeez it's been 1 month of dating and we haven't match anythings but profile pictures.." he would sulk and pout as he paced around his room to try and think of something, something unique that only both you and him have! After a while, his eyes lit up before he quickly doodles a quick sketch as excitement filled him.

Boyfriend!X who the next day gave you a gemstone bracelet that matched the bracelet on his wrist saying it was part of his "failed experiments" as the rock had cracked two of the EXACT same shapes but in different colours? Sure, as X blabbered more on how he got the rock the more unbelievable his story was. But his intentions were rather cute.

Boyfriend!X who is basically a genius as he helps you with your schoolwork, he's quite clingy as well always hugging you from behind as you sat at your desk doing your work while he points out some errors.

Boyfriend!X who is strangely... A good cook? He often makes you breakfast and your lunch, often using this as an excuse to spend more time at your place during the weekends as he prepares your meals.

Boyfriend!X who's mind is constantly thinking about you and he always talks about you whenever he gets the chance. Perhaps thats why you have been having trouble sleeping and sneezing so often these days...

Best friends. That's what you thought when X would hug you from behind. Or kiss your cheek. Or do any other romantic activity.

While you were under the impression that he was just being your overly affectionate best friend, he didn't think the same way.

He wondered why none of his hints worked. Why was nothing working? Maybe it was you...no it couldn't be you. It had to be his fault for not making it clear enough that he absolutely adored you.

Everyday he would gift you something. Wether it was a drawing or just a new machine he invented (that he absolutely wanted you to try out), X would always have a present ready.

And of course you accepted them with a big smile on your face that made his heart flutter.

Poor X. Always trying to impress you. Always trying to make you smile. Always asking you to join his experiments just to spend more time with you, without actually making you join. And of course, endlessly teasing you.

He thought that you would never give into his affections. That he'd never be able to be more than just your very, very good friend.

That was, until Regulus joined the Foundation.

Before X could even begin to show her the way to Scientific Computing Center, you showed up from around the corner, holding a pile of files. You waved to Madam Z and she waved back before leaving the scene.

X's face light up with excitement. He rushed over to you and hugged you, kissing your cheek.

You brushed it off as his playful behavior, this being his usual routine whenever he saw you.

"Hate to interrupt, but are you two a thing?" Regulus asked, shifting her backpack on her shoulder.

You could feel Medicine Pocket's jealous stare from what felt like miles away. 'It's nothing,' you told yourself as you continued to chat with friends.

Your suspicions were confirmed correct as Medicine Pocket sneaked up behind you, with no regard of your current situation and hugging you.

"You should have seen your expression."

Medicine Pocket then promptly exited stage right, leaving you alone with your giggling friends and a flabbergasted expression.

Later, don't be a menace to society and give Medicine Pocket some hugs and kisses, won't you?

X is very obvious when he is jealous. Therefore, you should have known that he would sneak up to you like that.

"Boo!"

He then bear hugged you, wrapping his arms around your slender frame. You're now stuck with a living, breathing, genius of a teddy bear.

Make sure to give him more affection, unless you want this to happen more often. [Also, now you're going to smell like X's favorite tea for a while. He probably did that on purpose, that little cheeky guy]
