Yoru would likely be one of the first people Stef feels safe to open up to in NRC because he can trust her to be blunt and honest, and she doesn’t strike him as someone who’d associate with him for merit when she’s perfectly capable of gaining it by herself, especially since they specialise in different fields(?) Headcanon that Yuu has purple lips like Crowley but hides it with their skin coloured lipstick. Crow dad wanted to have some sort of similarity with them via making their lips black or purple by default or having long ass nails.

Robert and Anita both are masters of nail cutting and make-up.

I like to imagine that this was a random adjustment that Crowley came to Crewel with mid-way through the fabrication process, which only served to make poor Crewel’s job that much harder.

So you now want a baby that is entirely human other than these very obviously inhuman features which normal humans don’t have the genes to provide? Sure, let Crewel get right on that, it’s not like they have a finite amount of egg cells to work with before they have to pay the donor for more.

(Somewhere in the city, corporate lawyer Karatsumori Yoru gets the sudden premonition that she’s about to make a killing that’ll seriously help with her plans to divorce from her shitty husband.)

So Crewel purchases more materials, and gets to work.

And after losing #Y13-#Y18 to various mishaps and misadventures, Crewel’s relatively certain #Y19 will finally be a success. A completely normal powerless baby with the dark purple lips and long nails of Crowley’s fae heritage!

Then Crowley walks in, takes one look at it, and says, “What’s that? It’s far too creepy. Didn’t I say I wanted a regular-looking kid? Well, I’ll give you some more time to try again, as I am gracious.”

It was extremely difficult for Crewel not to pluck the stupid birdbrain clean and turn him into a feather boa.

(#Y26, or our Yuu, does still have nails that grow faster than average humans’. It makes cutting them every fortnight a chore that they have to thank their bio father for.)

[Synopsis]: Agent!MC/Yuu was testing the limits of their abilities, but somehow ended with twisted fairytale shenanigans.

[(A/N)]: Have I already told you I love this character? I can’t help it! My main blog is basically plagued with reblogs of this Valorant agent.

[(A/N #2)]: You know the drill! This MC/Yuu variant is between 16-18 age range and gifs will be included to visualize what kind of actions will there be.

Agent Yami [闇 (やみ)], a.k.a. MC/Yuu Kiritani is the cousin of Agent Yoru, The Riftwalker.

They got in contact with Radianite when they also were checking in the infamous Icebox, promptly getting affected by its properties and developed similar abilities like their cool older cousin.

You can say the training was painful.

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Dejects through one of their rifts and lands on Yoru* Ryo?! Are you okay?

Yoru: *Groans* I’m good. Fix your landing.

Agent!MC/Yuu: Sorry. I’ll get it better.

With enough timing and practice, they’re ready for missions.

Having two Riftwalkers would be beneficial for every mission.

Sometimes they compete each other on who gets the highest kill count.

During another training session, they wanted to test the limits to their riftwalking powers, but Yoru warned them the consequences of misusing their abilities.

Did they listen? No.

Did they leave a note for their cousin explaining about “breaking limits”? Yes.

As they were traveling through rifts and the darkness, they continued further ahead.

…

Agent Yami somehow ended up in a castle after dark.

They take off their mask and become cautious as this is unfamiliar territory.

Agent Yami pulls out their firearm, ready to shoot possible enemies.

Just as they were about to sneak out, they were spotted by Headmaster Crowley.

Crowley: Excuse me? Students are prohibited to be in this area.

Agent!MC/Yuu: くそ [Kuso].

Crowley: Hm?

Agent Yami flash-bangs in front of Crowley, temporarily blinding him.

Crowley: My eyes!

They knock him over and start running away from the scene.

While they ran, Agent Yami trips over what seems to be a huge furry monster.

Agent!MC/Yuu: Fuck. How did I trip over a cat?

Grim: Who are you callin’ a cat?! I’m Grim the Great!

Agent!MC/Yuu: …It talks. I’m leaving. *Rips open a rift*

Grim: Nyah?! Wait! *Grabs onto them*

Agent!MC/Yuu: Get off! You’ll get harmed in the darkness.

Crowley: *Finds the two* Seize your running!

The two ran off again and Agent Yami tucks Grim in their leather coat.

The young agent pulls out their mask, immediately wears it, then rips open another rift and jumps through.

Both of them ended up in the Mirror Chamber where the dorm-sorting ceremony takes place like in the Prologue.

Everyone was looking at the newcomer, with confusion.

Agent!MC/Yuu: What the…Is this a cult?

Crowley: *Barges inside* You! How dare you blinding the headmaster of Night Raven College?

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Confused* Night Raven what?

Crowley: The all-boys school of magic.

Agent!MC/Yuu: …Are you trippin’ or somethin’?

Needless to say, there were explanations exchanged and the ceremony continued.

Oh yeah.

Agent Yami can’t go back to their dimension as their dimensional scars are opening up and need time to heal over.

It wasn’t pleasant to see.

Deuce: Where’s MC/Yuu?!

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Rips through a rift behind Overblot!Riddle*

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Counterattacks him with a baseball bat*

Ace & Deuce: OH!

Overblot!Riddle: *Spits out the Blot stone and falls unconscious*

Trey: RIDDLE!!!

Agent!MC/Yuu: I cannot waste bullets on someone like him.

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Practicing their abilities* *Sends out a mirror decoy of themselves*

Cater: Yo, Yami-Chan/Kun!

[Cater broke the decoy and he also became temporarily blinded from the flash.]

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Helps guiding the poor Third Year back to his dorm* I told you not to come close whenever I’m training. My FAKEOUT decoy is effective.

Cater: Sorry, Yami…

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Sighs* ‘Is this how Ryo feels with his colleagues?’

[Hallway]

Savanaclaw Student: You think you’re so tough because you have those weird powers.

Agent!MC/Yuu: Are you trying to pick a fight? You think that’s tough considering you’ll lose anyway.

Savanaclaw Student: Why you little… *Throws a punch*

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Blocks the attack* Trying to instigate a brawl? Bad idea.

[They use their riftwalking abilities to attack the Savanaclaw student. They dodge the blows, punches their face, kicking them off balance and knocks them over.]

Savanaclaw Student: *Lying on the floor with their head spinning*

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Pulls out their Butterfly Comb to fix their hair* I told you. Bad idea to instigate a brawl. *Walks away*

Epel: *Watched the whole fight* Whoa.

[Ramshackle Dorm]

Deuce: *Notices the visible scars* Yami…You have scars?

Agent!MC/Yuu: Hm? Oh, yeah. These Dimensional scars are from walking through the rifts. My cousin told me that this Radiant power is not much of a blessing and consequences will happen. I have to ease off from using too much.

Deuce: Oh. Then what about these?

Agent!MC/Yuu: Previous missions and fights. I guess finishing fights runs in the family.

I’m thinking after surviving a fairytale bogus world, they’re able to return to their original world.

You can imagine the young agent sprinting through the halls of the base, trying to find their mentor/blood-related relative.

Agent!MC/Yuu: YORU!

Yoru: YAMI!

Agent!MC/Yuu: *Tackles him with a tight hug*

Yoru:くそ [Kuso]! What was that for?

Agent!MC/Yuu: I’m sorry I broke the limits! I went through a hellish experience and it took me so long to find the pathway back here with everybody I know and love. How long was I gone for?

Irene didn’t realize they were staring.

A small fish goes flying through the air, nearly hitting them in the face. It hits Grim instead. The perpetrator is giggling in the water, swishing his tail taunting, eyes locked onto theirs. It’s then that Irene shakes their head from side to side, deaf to the sound of Grim screeching at the eel mer. All they can think about is how uncomfortable it is that they just got caught staring at none other than Floyd Leech. Just great.

Since when did they zone out?

“Why are ya staring so much, sea walnut?” Floyd calls out, voice shrill with the pleasure of catching them in an embarrassing position, “Something on my face?”

“It’s nothing, Floyd.” they say coolly, keeping their eyes flicked onto him just in case he tries anything else.

“Aww, you’re not fun. C’mon, sea walnut. The water is juuuust right.” he giggles, drifting closer to shore.

Irene jolts back as though he’s burned them, ignoring the flash of heat in their cheeks. There is no way they’re going into the water. No way.

“I’m sure it is, but I have things to do.” they remind him, but he doesn’t seem deterred in the slightest.

“Boo. You work too hard, sea walnut.” Floyd pouts, flicking some water at them with his tail.

“It’s not working too hard, it’s making sure I can get some embarrassing photos of Vargas so I can use them as blackmail for my next scheme against Crowley.” they hiss, quiet enough so only Floyd can hear.

At that, Floyd jumps out of the water and onto them, tail flopping on land.

“Sounds fun! I want in!” Floyd beams, wriggling like a worm on a hook.

“Oi, Floyd! Don’t crush the Prefect!” Ace yells from the trees, making a beeline to the pile of eel and struggling Prefect.

It’s not like he’d be able to help anyway. Irene knew it was easier to go along with Floyd’s whims.

Hello! I read up on your Oc from your blog, so a request of and Floyd and Yoru it is! Thank you for sending in a request for the event, and I hope you like it!

I made two versions, that are only slightly different, since I thought the first one was too bare bones(?) of an approach to a sketch? But then I realized that it supposed to be as simple as possible when it comes to “shading” because it’s supposed to be easy to color for others…but then my mind wouldn’t be satisfied if I didn’t make at least another copy of it where I was able to form the shadow under Floyd’s neck a bit more but ehhh—-

I enjoyed looking up references for crows (I hope she’s a crow, I just assumed but if she’s a raven—-AHHHHH) so it was pretty interesting to look up their wing shapes and how different they are from ravens! (more under the cut)

In terms silhouette, I’d describe a crow’s pinion feathers are more spaced out in comparison to that of a raven’s, so they have this interesting feel to them that makes them look quite rugged….it’s really cool!

Also, they have more “elliptical” shaped wings in comparison to a raven’s that’s a bit more narrow(?) Which would make sense because crows flap their wings more, so the bigger surface are of their wings lend to their ability to keep flying by that action. Raven’s are more narrow, neater, and sharper, which allows them to keep flying though less flapping motions and just glide in the sky as they cut through the air!

…sorry for the tangent, but I’ve always liked ravens so I thought I’d try my hand at drawing wings—Granted, I drew crow wings, but I think they ended up looking more raven-like lmao

And I’m sorry about the pain from the Supervillain!Yuu angst! I genuinely have no idea where it comes from— one moment I’m answering perfectly normal asks, and all of a sudden it’s like a switch is flipped in my brain and angst keeps coming out.

And maybe Crowley would like to make another “Yuu”, turn back the clock, try again—

But Crewel knows the truth. Even a clone is an individual. The simple act of multiplication creates a new integer that is distinct from its fellows, despite the genetic similarities— even if 2 and 2 are the same number, when taken together they still make 4 rather than 2, don’t they?

Plus, even if he could recreate Yuu from scratch, implant them with their old memories, have them play like nothing happened, like they never were subjected to that…he’d need fresh cells from the XX donor for Yuu’s existence.

And given that car accident which happened so along ago, the one where Crewel always suspected foul play from her divorced ex…

Well. It’s an impossibility. Let’s tactfully leave it at that.
