In the past year or so, I've sunk quite a lot of money in Japanese second hand goods. It's been quite a pleasant experience to browse through many well described offers where most of the time you get exactly what you want, in great condition and for cheap price.
Without further ado, I've compiled a list of useful vocabulary that one may encounter while shopping on Japanese online marketplaces or フリマアプリ.

The Misadventures of the Phoenix and the Shadow Chimera Sorcerers Part 12- Math Test ||
Hi everyone! This is Deamon-mun for part 12 of The Misadventures of the Phoenix and Shadow Chimer Sorcerers. This is for a friend named @the-silver-peahen-residence involving JJk shinegangs and a certain OC of mine, Kisho Hashimoto aka Daichi PheonX
---- Parts ---
Part 6
Part 7
Part 8
Part 9
Part 10
----- Summary ----
Exams have come up. Kisho, Megumi and the rest of the class have studied and are now preparing for a test. However, before the test starts. Nobara voices her concern.
---- Warning ----
Accusations.
Cheating.
----
----
It's a normal day at Jujutsu Tokyo High. However, there are no missions or training days. No, today is a test. A math test. Everyone is dreading except for one person, Kisho Hashimoto aka Daichi PheonX who is confident for this math. After all, given the infamous grand amount of money he gained from his social media channel and merchandise of cursed charms. He knows how to do math pretty well.
With Eito by his side, there's nothing he can do. Nanami-sensei is going to be the proctor for the math exam. He tells them the rules and all that despite Yuji's complaints of why math is needed. Kisho got his pencils ready, his piece of paper out, and the answer sheet. But before...the test begins.
"Wait a minute! Nanami-sensei!" Nobara asked. Nanami looks up from his paper, "Yes, Kugaski?"
"What about Kisho?" Nobara asked.
Huh?
"What about me?" Kisho blinked. Nanami wonders, "Yes, what about him?" He raised a brow.
"He has Eito with him!" Nobara said. Kisho blinks, "Well...yeah...Eito is with me all the time." He said, looking confused.
Megumi raises a brow while Yuji blinks. Megumi then begins to realize something.
"Didn't you say that Eito is good at math?" Megumi said to which Yuji realized this, "Oh yeah! Isn't he? Didn't you say he helps you in accounting and all that with your channel and your merch sales?" Yuji asked. Kisho nods, "Yeah so???"
"So how do we know that you won't get help from Eito during this test??" Nobara asked. Taz, Yuria and Miko widen their eyes at this.
"Huh?! What are you saying???" Kisho frowns. Nanami listens but didn't say anything yet.
"We're saying...how do we know you won't cheat in this test?" Megumi crossed his arms, leaning back. Yuji nods in agreement. Eito squawked while Kisho gasped in shock.
"How..wha-HUH?! I don't appreciate that accusation! I don't cheat! Eito doesn't cheat! WE DON'T CHEAT!" Kisho exclaimed, standing up and looking at his friends.
"Then tell Eito to go to a different room," Megumi said calmly.
"No way!" Kisho shakes his head.
"Why not?" Yuji questioned.
"Because!"
"Because???" Nobara asked with crossed arms. Yuria, Miko and Taz are curious to know why.
"Because I need Eito!"
More gasps from Yuji and the girls.
"So do you need Eito to help you with the test!!" Yuji said, pointing at him. Kisho retorts, "No, I don't! Eito helps me with my homework! Not my test! I can ace it!"
"Then tell Eito to go to a different room if you can ace the test!" Nobara said with a frown.
"He helps me concentrate and makes me feel relaxed!" Kisho said.
"Riiight...more like helping you," Megumi tells him. Yuji said, "Yeah! Don't try to pull a wool over us, Kisho!" He yelled.
"You're one to talk, Yuji!" Kisho turns his head at him and points at him frantically, "I bet Sukuna helps you with this test! So how do we know that Sukuna won't HELP you in your test?!"
"HUH?! Sukuna never helps me with things like that!" Yuji retorted.
"Oh sure! I believe you~! NOT! I bet he helps you whenever we have a test over jujutsu! Or what about Taz and Kinie?! How do we know Kinie doesn't help her!" Kisho said this as he is on top of his chair.
"Eh?" Taz blinked dumbfounded.
"Don't you dare pull my little sister into this!" Yuji yelled comically. "She never cheats!"
"OH! Sorry! How do we know that?!" Kisho asked, putting his hands on his hips. Eito puffed his feathers on top of his head.
"T-then...what about Miko, huh?!" Yuji shifted the topic. "She has a shikigami and I bet her badger, Anaconda helps her!"
"Eh?" Miko blinks dumbfounded. Both Taz and Miko had a dumbfounded smile on their blank faces as they blinked.
"Miko never cheats!" Kisho yelled.
"You don't know that either!" Yuji said.
Nanami sighs.
"If I may..." A voice is heard from Taz. Kinie Ger manifests on top of Taz's head as a quoll. Miko and Yuria were thinking. 'Cute.'
"I don't understand this thing you call math. It has letters and number mixed together which makes no sense. I can only do basic things like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division." She said. "And some..."
"SO YOU ADMIT IT!"
"HOWEVER...I do not help my pup in these things. Only hunting curses. Why would I help the pup with something so simple!"
"Did she tell you...she isn't good at math?! She has bad grades!"
"Wait what?" Kinie blinked. Everyone gasp except Megum who shakes his head. Yuji stands up, "How can you bring up Taz's test score?! That was a low blow, man!"
"I didn't have to bring it up if you didn't accuse Eito and me capable of cheating!" Kisho retorted. "If anything, that WAS a low blow!"
"You're seriously not helping your case here." Megumi said. "You won't tell Eito to go to another room because you need him to concentrate? Do you know how suspicious that sounds?"
"Yeah! You sound sus!" Nobara pointed.
"YEAH! SUS!" Yuji exclaimed in agreement.
"Fushiguro! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SHOULDN'T BE TALKING RIGHT NOW!" Kisho waves his fists to the air furiously, "Your Ten Shadows technique is versatile right?! So I bet ONE of your shinigami helps you with this test!" Kisho said, now standing on the desk.
Megumi rolls his eyes, "Kisho. My cursed technique helps me in combat, not written exams." He said. "If anything, your shikigami-"
"Eito is-"
"Eito helps you more with soft skills than hard skills. You were bragging about how Eito is really smart in math and all that." Megumi said. "Besides..I can ace this test without any shikigami unlike you."
And Kisho take those as fighting word as he almost pop a vien and his left eye twitched.
"What?!" Kisho is now upset. "You know what?! Fine! I show you! I am going to beat everyone on this math test and other exams without Eito's help!" He yelled, stomping his foot on the desk childishly.
"Yeah sure..." Megumi is not fazed. But deep down, he can't wait to humble this idiot.
"Without Eito! Heck! I will probably beat Sukuna in that jujutsu written test!"
Upon hearing that, Sukuna huffs, "Look at this brat!" Sukuna's eye and mouth appear on Yuji's cheek now smirking. "You think you can beat me in a written exam about jujutsu?! You must be kidding yourself! I am the King of Curses!"
"At least I know you're not the King of Math!" Kisho retorted.
"Ha? I'm good at math!" Sukuna retorted.
"Okay what's 6 times 3?"
"Easy! 18!" Sukuna answered with easy. Then Kisho hits him with another question, "So what's the number of Pi?!"
"Pie!? Are you serious? You cut it into four slices or eight slices." Sukuna answered with confidence which got everyone silent. Nobara tries so hard not to laugh. Of course, Sukuna thought Pi is Pie.
"Uh...Sukuna?" Yuji goes to tell him in his mind. I think he's talking about Pi as in P.I. Not what you think it is. Sukuna was slient before growing. "HUh?! Why you little-"
"HA! It's 3.14!" Kisho grins.
"You know that doesn't count. Sukuna was born 1,000 years ago and Pi was brought up later on." Megumi points this out. "Give him a math problem!"
"I intend to agree," Nanami asked. "The concept of Pi was introduced in the 1700s."
"Okay fine! But I doubt King of Curses knows how to handle money! Like does even he know how to file his taxes in the Heian Era?!" Kisho said. Sukuna twitched an eye from his skull throne. "Now you listen here, you little shit! Do you think dabbling in money matters to me?! I know how to do my finances! Hell! I don't even need it or pay my taxes! You, on the other hand, have that damn turkey to do the calculating for you!"
"You don't even know what stocks are! You don't know what investing is!"
"REALLY?! It's a bullshit way of gambling for snobbish weaklings! You're an idiot! And number two! Screw you!"
"Yeah! I kinda agree on that." Yuji points this out. Kisho frowns, "You know what?! Fine!" He yells. Eito hoots and flies away from the class through the window, having enough of this. "You're going to regret this! I will show you all! I AM GOING TO TAKE EVERYONE DOWN INSIDE THIS CLASS IN THIS TEST!"
The girls in the back, Taz, Miko and Yuria were sweatdropped, thinking this is getting a bit out of control.
"I'm GOING TO BEAT YOU!" Points at Megumi who is now rolling his eyes with his arms crossed at Kisho's childish behavior. "I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU!" He points at Nobara who sticks her tongue at him childishly. "I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU AND YOU!" He points at Yuji and Sukuna of course. Sukunarolls his eye on his vesel's cheek and scoffs while Yuji made a face at him.
"I MAKE SURE THAT I DON'T NEED EITO TO ACE THIS TEST! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" Kisho said.
Nanami then clears his throat, "If you're done yelling, it's time to take your seats. It's time to take the exam. Please turn over your papers and pick up your pencil."
Kisho sits down and goes to start to answer questions. Everyone is quiet and silent. But Megumi, Nobara, and Yuji swore that they heard the grumbles under Kisho's breath.
"Im not a cheater...Eito is not a cheater. Heroes...." Kisho grumbles, "don't cheat! Damnit..."
Nobara is snickering to herself as she can hear Kisho getting upset. She will beat him in his test no matter what. It took a few hours. Nobara is the first to finish it. Kisho glares at Nobara while Nobara makes a funny face at him. He almost popped a vein before he shook his head.
No, no, no! Focus.
As time goes, Kisho is the second to last to finish. Taz finished last. The exam is over and the day ends. Eito goes to comfort Kisho in his room after he admitted that he struggled with some of the questions.
Soon..Kisho thought. I will show them all!
Of course, the next morning, he will not expect the results.
---- The next morning ----
"Wow....didn't you say that you're going to beat us in this test?" Nobara chuckled, seeing the scores while Kisho is standing there, looking at the scores with his eye twitch.
"Wow! I got a better score!" Taz said, "Thank you so much, Nobara!" Taz said. Yuji nods, "Yeah! Thanks Noabra!" While Miko pats him on the back.
It went something like this.
Nobara - 100%
Yuria - 95%
Megumi - 90%
Miko - 83%
Yuji - 75%
Taz - 75%
Kisho - 70%
"You got anything to say for yourself, Kisho?" Megumi asked. Kisho grits his teeth while Eito hoots, sitting on top of his head. Kisho looks at the three. "I DEMAND A REMATCH!"
"You mean...a retake?" Yuji corrects him. Kisho groans, "You know what I mean, Itadori! You guys screwed me up with those accusations! I used to be in 90s and 100s on my math tests!"
"With..or without Eito?" Nobara smirks. Kisho's face turns red. "This is just one time! ONE TIME! I slipped up." Kisho said. Megumi rolls his eyes, "Kisho. You need to stop relying on Etio for everything especially this." He said.
"I don't rely on Eito for everything!" Kisho retorted. "Name one I rely on him for something!" Kisho asked Megumi.
"Aside from your missions and tests, he wakes you up every morning." Megumi gives one. Kisho became silent. "What?"
"And playing theme songs for you." Itadori adds.
"Reminding you to tie your shoelaces!" Nobara pitches in.
"Oh! Or when you forgot your umbrella on the table." Taz brings up it.
"Fix your collar when you put on your uniform," Megumi said.
"Reminding you of the weather," Yuji asked.
"Or when you get lost," Yuria asked. Kisho's jaw almost dropped, upon hearing this.
"Telling you to watch your step so you won't trip," Nobara said. Kisho's eyes became swirls as the list goes on and on. He never expected he rely on Eito this much!
"And asking him on what to eat!." Kinie pops up from Taz's head. Taz sweatdropped.
"And asking you what time is it when you should of looked at your phone." Sukuna cackled, joining in the fun. "You even ask the turkey what to wear in a few instances. Come on, ask your own shikigami what to wear?! What are you? Five?!"
"Hey Sukuna..." Yuji scolds, slapping his cheek to quite him down not before apologizing to Kisho who is now clearly embarrassed by this.
"AND HOW DO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT?!" Kisho exclaimed in disbelief and shock as he looked horrified by the number of things that his classmates listed so far.
"Hashimoto..." Megumi sighs. "We listened to you talk to Eito on those things. Like....almost every day. You even had him to help you to cook something."
"What?! No! I do not! Miko, tell me! Tell me the truth." Said Kisho begging her to say otherwise. Miko blinks and looks conflicted, "Um.."
But she had to tell the truth, "It seems like you depend on Eito for things, Kisho. Sorry." Miko apologized. "But it isn't bad! That's okay!"
"Yeah! It's not big deal!" Yuji said.
"No, it's not okay! You guys make it sound that I can't do anything without Eito." Kisho said. Megumi raises a brow at this, "Can you do things without Eito?" He said. "It's one thing to rely on Eito for missions and fighting cursed spirits. It's another to rely on him for almost mundane things, Kisho." Said Megumi being straightforward.
"Y-yes! I mean...me and Eito always stick together and do things together! So...I mean..."Kisho looks conflicted by this.
"Still..." Nobara begins.
"You know what! I got to go studying!" Kisho quickly said and ran off, leaving his classmates behind with Eito flying behind him.
"Kisho! Wait!" Miko asked as he ran off. Megumi groans.
"Maybe...we shouldn't press on Kisho about Eito like that?" Yuji asked. "Eito is very important to him. It's part of his technique, right?" He said.
"That's true," Megumi said.
"Anyway..isn't there a mission we got to go on?" Asked Nobara. Megumi sighs.
To be continued???

1/3 - Clear 'House of Rosso's Laboratory' [0/2]
As Noah seeks for more clues to control the power of time, he learns about the terrible experiments that were conducted at the House of Rosso, and how Clamor's invention was essential to carry them out.
Clamor exclaims that he wasn't involved in the experiments and Noah readily believes him. Though he only knew Clamor for a short time, he knows Clamor wouldn't do something like that. But then, who is it? Is the Order, and perhaps the power of time somehow involved?
As Noah tries to figure out what's going on, a dark figure approaches.
2/3 - Clear 'Depths of Temple of Time' [0/2]
Noah finds himself unexpectedly back in the past, and feels great loss when he realizes that Clamor is sealed.
However, Noah is determined to make this into a new opportunity rather than focusing on the loss.
Noah saves Yuria and decides to use the relic that lies deep within the Temple of Time. Information on the power of time... Perhaps he can find more information in Seven Tower, the center of knowledge of the long lost ancient kingdom.
3/3 -  Clear 'Clamor's Memory' [0/1]
Noah remains in Clamor's memory for a long time using the power of time, and feels free for the first time.
This is the past. Nothing from the present can affect anything. He can forget about the tragedies of his family and revenge against the Order for a short while. As he spends time with Clamor from the past, Noah thinks about who he is as a person, not just the second child of the Ebalon family, for the first time. Words he never spoke, a smile that never graced his face, to laugh loudly without care.... Realizing that he could be someone carefree when he's not tied down by restraint.
With information from Seven Tower, Noah learns that the power of time involves a big current comprised of the sun, the moon, and the entire galaxy and decides to delve deeper into his studies.

B.L.T. August 2023: Anno Aoi, Kudo Yua, Miyakoshi Yuria, Nishimori Aya, Shiogama Nana & Yoshimoto Cocona interviews
Anno Aoi's part:
"I quite like the Sakamichi groups. I wasn't sure if I could find myself accepting [becoming a part of] this group, given how I wasn't confident that I'd pass the audition.
However, my friends and my mother advised me to join the group, thus, I made up my mind. As of right now, I don't know just what kind of group we will become, but I hope we will be a group where everyone is highly aware [of their circumstances/surroundings] and can improve each other.
Everyone has a good personality, so, recently, I feel like I've become kinder too [laughs]. One day, in a few years' time, I would like to participate in the Kouhaku Uta Gassen."
Kudo Yua's part:
"I've always loved dancing and performing in front of people. I've also loved watching idols, so my mother encouraged me to apply.
I like Nogizaka46's Kaki Haruka-san, and collect her goods. Although I am part of their official rival group, I want to be someone just like her who can make those who support us smile.
I want to be part of a group that is able to do that [making the fans smile]. I've been dancing for about six years. There are a lot of members who are older or have more experience than me, but I'll do my best not to be outdone by them in terms of expresiveness."
Miyakoshi Yuria's part:
"I had always dreamed of being an idol and, given how I've just finished high school, I thought this was a now or never moment. My personality... I'm a shy, yet cheerful person. However, if the other person I'm talking to is shy, too, then I'll approach them myself.
I'm not very good at dancing, but during our training camp, I came to like it quite a bit. I am confident that I can sing loudly, too. In the future, I'd like to be a model.
I would also like to appear on the TV programme Shabekuri 007, and I would like to hold a concert in my hometown, Fukui, at the Sun Dome, so I hope that all my friends in Fukui could attend!"
Nishimori Aya's part:
"I didn't want to find a job, so I decided to join the audition as an escape from reality. Everyone else was completely determined to become an idol, so I really wondered whether it was okay for someone like me, with such aspirations, to be here.
Now that I've passed the audition, however, I'm really enjoying being an idol, so I want to have fun while I can.
I also want to become someone who can give hope to people, who can prove that even a country girl like me can be active in Tokyo, [as an idol]."
Shiogama Nana's part:
"I am a fan of Nogizaka46-san, and I've watched many of their programmes and concerts. I thought that if I joined their rival group, I would be able to improve myself further, so I decided to take this challenge.
But, I didn't really think that I'd be able to become an idol. Before that, I had wanted to become a nursery school teacher, but I passed the audition and decided to tell my father.
When I called him, he told me that he was sure I would get in. [Dear parents,] I'm a fool! (laughs) I really want to be part of a group that is great at singing and dancing!"
Yoshimoto Cocona's part:
"While I was watching Tiktoks to pass the time, I came across the video of the audition and was enthralled. I wanted to eventually be active in the entertainment industry, and I was at an age where I was wondering what my career path would be, so this was perfect timing!
I've studied jazz dance for four years, so I think I'm pretty good at it. The training camp, too, was a lot of fun. I'm not a person who cries too often, but I might just cry with happiness if we ever hold a concert in my hometown! (laughs)"

my background story for yuria is that her elder sister took her and the youngins far away to the borders of thanalan cos (undecided) a) the shrouds were too close to garlean occupation b) her elder sister disliked how their brood mother handles the garleans and so they ran
seeinf how yuria ran from quite a young age i feel like she would feel quite disconnected from her tribe since their group was small and she was surrounded by other races when arriving at thanalan
heres where things get muddy cos i know the love for both funerary work and adventuring would've sparked in her at like 10 years old + also when she began her apprenticeship
sister joins the war to help protect eorzea dies on cartenau, yadayada her mentor dies to a thralled beast idk i haven't rlly thought it out and leaves behind an adventuring log for her
i couldn't decide which is funnier
a) she leaves to start her adventuring work but realised, she never really got in depth for her combat studies and thus relied on hand disciplines to get money + was a minor sellsword + nomadic for 5 years but its a long time you would think her magic got better
b) started out as a sellsword, got her first battle scar and thought Oh no i cannot do this, and settled to try and improve it whilst making money on the side but ended up being such a good crafter that she almost started an empire and was like No wait hold on I'm supposed to be an adventurer and runs away from her fans to learn thaumaturgy in uldah

Shit
I just realized
The reason why pyromancy in ds3 has int and faith requirements is because unlike Undead who’re still humans with flames burning within them, Unkindled have no flame to burn due to using it up in the process of failing to link the Fire.
Think about it, in every other game, pyromancy is something innate- something that can be naturally used by every human being regardless of how strong or smart of how faithful they are because they are people with flames to burn, while the Unkindled aren’t, so therefore they require more work-more strength through the souls of those with flames to burn in order to make up for their lack of one.
Idk. Just something cool I realized while being bored af at work.

Noah Ebalon - 2nd Line
Tumblr media
Second Selection
Age 15, Male, Sickle
A second life given to Noah.
Setting aside the confusion after his return to the Temple, Noah finds a sliver of hope in one difference he’s made this time -- saving Yuria and meeting Clamor.
Clamor is in a similar situation as him and calls himself Noah’s friend. Not only that, he’s been attentive and caring to Noah’s feelings and condition. Noah’s been ignoring it, but he’s always secretly been yearning for the concern and care of another. All of this allowed him to slowly trust Clamor more and more.
As the peaceful days passed on, a seed of anxiety grew in the corner of his heart. It has significantly reduced from before, but he still gets nightmares from time to time. He torments himself with guilt over being the only one to enjoy happiness. He contemplates if he has to throw himself into the mire again to finish his revenge, and the only thing that stops him is the friendship he has with Clamor.
“There’s no need for you to suffer or take responsibility for anything when you were nothing but a victim. It’s okay for you to choose the path you want,” says Clamor. Noah now sees that he has another path laid out before him besides getting revenge.
A new encounter in a different present… If the life he has right now was given to him because he had completed his revenge, then perhaps… this life can be used to pursue happiness.
He doesn’t know what kind of future this decision will bring him, but having someone by his side gives him courage. As a part of making a new decision for himself, he learns magical knowledge from Clamor.

Age 17, Male, Sickle
As his knowledge of magic increases, Noah grows confident that his unexpected return to the place where he started has to do with the mutated power within him, and that if he doesn’t take control of it, then he might return to the beginning again at any time.
Not wanting all the time he spent to be in vain, he reaches the Rosso Clan’s laboratory while hunting down information related to the El’s elemental power. He finds Clamor’s inventions in the horrific experiments conducted by the Rosso Clan. He almost begins to doubt Clamor, but the man he knows would never create something for such a dark purpose. Before he can find the truth, he is struck unconscious when someone attacks him out of nowhere, returning him to the starting point once again against his will.
When he opens his eyes in the Temple, the seal on Clamor is once again unbroken.  Noah despairs, but soon realizes the relic in the heart of the Temple may hold the clue to both his mutated power and Clamor’s past. Even though he was sent back in time, his memories of days spent with Clamor remain with him as part of his own past. Perhaps he will be able to alter the future of this path to be what he wants.
After entering Seven Tower in the past through the relic, he finds out his power of the moon mutated because of the power of the sun. He then uses the knowledge he’s learned to figure out a way to stay longer in Clamor’s memory.
In Seven Tower, a repository of knowledge lost forever, and a space that’s completely cut off from the real world, Noah concentrates on studying the great flow of the sun, moon, and the celestial bodies, as well as the power of time within himself.

Celestia
Age 18, Male, Sickle
“Aren’t you curious which future awaits us at the edge of the cosmos?”
An observer of the constellations who travels between the memories of the cosmos and the present, forging a new future for himself. A class that developed his mutated power in his own way by utilizing Clamor’s artificial spirit magic.
The two years spent in the past with Clamor have a profound influence on him. He can now not only stop himself from being returned to the start against his will, but also stay in a specific time period and use his unstable mutated power to his benefit by utilizing Clamor’s artificial spirit magic. Though his partner can’t remember the time they spent together when Noah was in the relic, he knows the time and the memories will stay with him. Who he is now is the result of his hard work in the past.
“I hope you can join me in the future I will forge with my choice.”
Noah wants to give freedom of movement to his friend who’s been his strength this entire time. He adds artificial spirit magic to his power to successfully turn Clamor into a spirit. No one was able to turn a soul imprisoned in a magical item into a spirit before, but it was possible because Clamor was a part elf who had a natural affinity to spirits, and Noah had maximized his own potential.
Being able to turn Clamor into a spirit gives Noah pause. He had magically repressed the time he’d spent in the relic, considering it a lost time that no one can remember, but he realizes that the result he’s achieved now wouldn’t be possible without it. He’s been treating that precious time of learning as completely worthless, and yet without that, he couldn’t have helped Clamor. The time he spent in the relic matters even if he’s the only one to remember it.
After some deliberation, he accepts the importance of that time and releases the seal he cast on himself to repress it. In that moment, the bound time affects Noah’s body all at once. The two years catch up with him instantly and his body ages accordingly, but he feels much more comfortable knowing this appearance suits him.
“Let’s follow the starlight you and I both wish for. No matter what lies at the end, I can accept it if it’s the consequence of my choice.”
Noah, his body and mind now matching in age, starts his path as an observer of the constellations who forges his own future.  His precious partner walks by his side, liberated with the aid of Noah’s new power.

Thank you to @lilyanne-mare and @blazingsnark for editing!
We added more info that’s not explicitly written in the Korean source text just to help it make more sense which we couldn’t do with 1st line because we didn’t know Noah’s story at all. But now we do.

Let's all take a moment it might be heavy spoilers but wonder what Titania's relationship is with Aisha since they are the Landar family, and I have a feeling I will love and hate Titania.
Edit: throw in Yuria in this as well.
Edit 2: Yuria is Titania's younger sister, is it possible that Aisha is a "middle" sister? No, maybe we don't know until translated or if we get more info, it would remind me of 3 sisters but one of them decides to study with their grandfather.

Title: Audience with Ebrietas Fandom: Bloodborne Characters: Ebrietas Daughter of the Cosmos Word Count: 2.323 AO3-Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/29425356
Summary: Ebrietas has been alone for a long time until one day a certain group managed to make contact with her.
(Author's note: I am in a Bloodborne writing server and we decided to make a "secret santa", only that it was like five days to christmas, so we set our deadline to be valentine's day instead.
So this is a secret santa fic that gets posted on valentine's day, so don't be too confused that it isn't shippy at all ^^' I was the secret santa for 0plus2equals1, who writes really great fics about the choir, check them out.)
Ebrietas hadn't gotten any visitors for a long time now.
She knew that she had been left behind by her kin, they all had managed to ascend to the cosmos while she had failed. She had stayed behind, unable to follow them. Instead of trying to follow them, she had accepted her fate and started to help the humans that would visit her, either by sharing her blood with them, that she easily could spit out or by letting herself summon to aid them via a being that was called the Augur of Ebrietas, originally a part of her body that had become its own being.
However, that felt like it had been a long time ago. Now Ebrietas was alone and... lonely. She couldn't talk to her kin anymore that had left her behind and she didn't get any human visitors anymore. In the deep labyrinth cave she was in, the only other life form that existed where aggressive and crude, none of them tried to contact her or give her gifts or ask her for help. They, however, seemed to sense that it would be a bad idea to attack her, so Ebrietas was usually left alone.
Which only fuelled the lingering loneliness inside of her. Sometimes, rarely, Ebrietas was moving away from the room she normally was housing, but she never had been able to find an exit. The place she found herself in was sealed shut. She had to accept that nobody would find her and her only companions were mindless beasts.
It had been like this for a long time now and it would stay like this, so Ebrietas just accepted her fate and stayed in her room, alone, lonely and sometimes longing for the stars that she had failed to reach. While as a Great One time hadn't much bearing on her, spending an eternity in the depths of some labyrinths without any contact was a rather dull and lonely experience.
It was a surprise for Ebrietas when she could feel herself getting summoned. It was only a partial summon, like when someone used the Augur, but also a rather weak one, as if whoever summoned her didn't had much knowledge how to use the parts she left behind.
It was only brief, but during the summon Ebrietas could get a glance on a group of people with long black coats which expressions went from surprised to shocked to excited.
The summoning was over as soon as it had come. There hadn't been enough time to speak to them, if they would even be able to withstand her voice. Humans tended to have trouble understanding the words of the Great Ones, even collapsing under the knowledge their words would plant in their brains.
Ebrietas simply decided to wait. If they had succeeded summoning a part of her once, they would probably try a second time. Maybe she could get a few words over to them once it would happen.
For a long time nothing happened. Ebrietas went back to spend day to day of her eternity in the dull loneliness of the labyrinth, starting to ask herself if she had been forgotten by the humans who used to ask for her help and who kept her company. She asked herself if the humans who had managed to summon a part of her had given up out of fear or if they hadn't been able to reproduce their success.
All questions Ebrietas didn't had an answer for, despite being a Great One. Only the ones who had properly ascended gained the complete knowledge of the cosmos. While she certainly could see on a larger scale than a human, that didn't mean that she could predict everything that would happen.
Ebrietas had some faint memories that one day she might have been human herself, but she was unsure if that were her memories or if she mixed up some stories, she had heard, through the long years of her isolation.
Then, as she was busy thinking to herself, a second summoning happened. It was brief, like the first, but Ebrietas could get a glance on the group again. They looked different this time, wearing long flowing white robes and caps that covered their eyes. Ebrietas still knew that it were the same people as with the first summoning, she could sense it.
Even though the summoning was brief, Ebrietas managed to send them a flash of an image, the room she was looking at right now, the room she stayed in. Maybe it would enough for them to find her. Ebrietas would love to find out more about that group of humans that had managed to partially summon her twice.
Since the second summoning, they had become more frequent. Ebrietas always got a glance of the white robed humans with the cap that covered their eyes when she was summoned, but the areas they were in changed. The first had looked like a study room, the second had looked like some kind of prayer room and now the summoning happened at areas that resembled the old labyrinths.
Ebrietas still didn't had any visitors, but those people summoning her certainly made her feel less lonely. More and more she got the impression that they were searching for her. Ebrietas helped them by projecting the image of her room into their mind whenever she got summoned.
Then, one day Ebrietas got the first visitors since an eternity.
There they were, the robed and blindfolded figures she had seen every time she had gotten summoned. They stood in front of her, a group of six or seven humans, with one of them standing slightly in front of the others. Ebrietas simply watched them, awaiting their next move. She could see how one of the people in the back row lifted their cap and got a nudge from the person next to them.
Eventually the person in front stopped forwards and bowed in front of Ebrietas: “Child of the Cosmos, we have searched for you ever since we first have made contact.”
From the voice and the build of the person, this probably was a woman. Ebrietas remembered that much about humans. The woman in front of her raised her head and despite the cap that blinded her, looked directly at Ebrietas. “We call ourselves the choir.”, she made a sweeping gesture at the people behind her. “A group of the Healing Church, an institute of blood healing. It is our task to make contact with the Great Ones and help humanity ascend. Child of the Cosmos, we came here to ask for your assistance in our task.”
The woman stepped backwards and then her and all of the other people made a certain gesture, one that Ebrietas knew too well. One arm was raised towards the heaven, another arm was spread from the body. It was a gesture that showed any Great One that they sought to make contact with them, a gesture that showed that they didn't mean any harm. Ebrietas lowly rumbled in delight, stopping when a few of the members broke the gesture and grasped at their heads instead.
“Ah, it appears your voice is hard to bear for some of our members.”, the woman said. “Child of the Cosmos, we will need some time to get used to your presence and their voice. We promise, we will come back.”
The woman looked at the members of her group and then back at Ebrietas. “Also to learn your name... My name is Yuria, current leader of the choir. We will look forward to see you again, Child of the Cosmos.”
Once the choir was done, Ebrietas remembered a gesture that humans would make to say goodbye to each other and lifted one of her tentacles to wave, far too late of course. She was a bit sad that her voice hadn't reached them, but she was confident that it wouldn't take them long. The group that called themselves the choir seemed to have taken all the measurements they needed to contact a Great One like Ebrietas.
They came back. Not the next day, but a few days later. They always greeted her with proper respect and then tried to contact her, though that still proved to be difficult. It seemed they needed a little more time.
Ebrietas started to look forward to their little visits. At first they only came every few days, but slowly their visits got more frequent until they were visiting her every other day. Sometimes they simply would sit there and talk to her, telling her about what had happened in the surface world. Apparently while she had been left behind in the sealed catacombs, a city had been build above them, called Yharnam. In Yharnam there was a faction called the Healing Church and the Choir was a part of it. They had mentioned this at their first meeting, but now got into much greater detail. They had searched for a living Great One, because they only had found dead ones so far. Ebrietas knew why, all the living Great Ones had ascended into the dream. She would be able to tell them once they were able to hear her voice.
However, as long as it wasn't possible, Ebrietas simply listened. She enjoyed it vividly when they talked to her and sometimes they even sang to her. They called themselves the choir after all.
It must have taken several weeks before they managed to hear Ebrietas voice. For Ebrietas the time that had passed felt like the blink of an eye, but she knew it was different for humans. They aged with time and one day time would be running out for them. She could see it in them, they were wary and exhausted, but once she managed to talk to them for the first time, all exhaustion fell off them and they were all over her, asking her all kind of questions.
The first one was her name. Ebrietas gladly told it to them, happy that once again someone would address her with a name that had been given to her by humans. Of course she possessed a true name, but it was impossible for humans to pronounce. A Great One would say their true name only ever to another Great One.
Life continued for Ebrietas like this for a while until the choir had a proposal for her.
They offered her to come with them and live in the church they served. All they asked in return was that Ebrietas shared her blood with them.
There wasn't any reason for Ebrietas to continue living in the labyrinths anymore, so she gladly accepted and found herself in a room that had been only made for her. It was similar to the cave she had been in, because she was used to it. She had wanted for the room to resemble the place she had spent such a long time in.
The choir did their best to serve Ebrietas and fulfil any wishes she had, the only wish they couldn't fulfil was letting her see the outside of the town. It had been such a long time since Great Ones had been worshipped, that the citizens forgot and only slowly should get reintroduced to the concept. Ebrietas didn't mind too much however, the choir would tell her all the tales she wanted to know and when she got summoned she could see through their eyes.
The choir wasn't the only one that visited her anymore. They also brought a man to meet her who they introduced as the vicar and who apparently was the founder of the Healing Church, having utilized the blood of Great Ones to heal people's ailments and to make them stronger. He often came into her room to talk to her, but she refrained from talking to him, he seemed to very susceptible to contract a Frenzy, so she stayed quiet, only communicating with him when a member of the choir was present to translate for her.
This life continued what must have been several decades for humans, because the members of the choir that started out talking to her began to grey and wrinkle and some of them got replaced. The vicar also one day didn't come anymore and they introduced a new vicar to her.
Regardless how the humans around her changed, for Ebrietas nothing changed. She continued to give them her blood and got company and songs and tales in return. She didn't see any reason to change anything.
One night however, something was different. One night nobody visited Ebrietas anymore. She could hear the sounds from above, from the city, sounds that she remembered from a time very long ago. Sounds of beasts that roamed the streets.
Ebrietas was in her room, waiting in front of an altar, an altar which housed the body of another Great One, one that hadn't managed to survive. The choir had tried to revive them to no avail. Ebrietas felt a connection to the body, hoping that at least their mind had managed to ascend into the dream.
It was during that time that someone entered her chamber. From the sound of the foot steps she knew that it was nobody of the choir. It also wasn't the current vicar.
As the person came nearer, Ebrietas glanced at them. The person that had entered her chamber, she recognized as a Hunter.
She didn't had any interest in fighting, but if the Hunter would decide to hunt her, Ebrietas would defend her life.
The Hunter just stood there and stared at her while Ebrietas waited for them if they would raise their weapon.
After a while, the Hunter left again. Whatever they wanted, they didn't want to harm her. Ebrietas turned around to the altar and continued to be lost in thoughts.
The Hunt was going on long that night...

Kayden sat near the gates of Lothric, leather armor laying beside her as it dried out, feet idly swirling in the water. There were still bits of dried blood on her skin, under her fingernails, but she was far too weary to continue scrubbing. At the sound of another approaching, tired eyes found the figure of the Mourning Princess, one of the few she remembered from her other life. "I don't suppose you could usher an undead into your realm, could you?" She just wanted the cycle to end, to rest. // @a-bottomless-curse
Every face she has known turns wretched in these darkening days. None of them are beautiful any longer, and certainly none of them are great, and here they all wither beneath the dying embers. So many have gone the same way as Kayden, but with far more finality.
Not her, though. She endures in the dark, as her kin do.
Sighing, she leans against her scythe, studying the woman before her. Blood would rust whatever silver she once was, precious and brilliant. Perhaps it had already. Either way, she said nothing about her presentation, especially once taking her own into account. Her gowns had never been in style, but now they crumbled along the edges and seams, faded with ages, with loss.
“My siblings always seek an able hand,” Hel admits at last. The water ripples away from Kayden’s flesh. She still has impact, still has form, still has a body caging her soul. “But I do not think that is what you seek.”
She can only watch this place flicker out from afar. There’s not enough strength in her to bring about the mercy this world deserves, an end to its long, shambling half-life. All of creation has become as Hollow as the undead, unable to even rage against the dying of the light. Her thoughts turn to Yuria, and the relief she offers.
A little longer, she wants to say, and it will all be over. I’m sorry, she wants to say that too, but her tongue lies immobile at the bottom of her mouth.

I have a confession, I would love to have a study/work session with Jotaro. I feel the quiet and him being so hardworking with his own work would help motivate me and keep me focused. It would also be nice to be reminded by Star Platinum to get up and stretch because I have a habit of making my neck and back hurt by keeping it in one place for too long. 😅 -Yuria
Definitely, Jotaro seems like a good company when it comes to study/homework or work. Though, he's also the type to get up from time to time to get water or a little snack, and he even can go "you should get up and get something... To eat or drink." Meanwhile, Star is signaling for you to get up and stretch, after all, nor him or Jotaro want to see you in pain. 😳

Do you mind expanding on the the whole *person in the center of the world* thingie? I read it on one of your posts and I really like the idea of it! Also I'm kinda curious since you did say that the person who made it down there realized there was another person already there (I think that's what you said I either have terrible memory or terrible self confidence about my memory)
Yes that's what I said!!! I explained most of the basics in the post but I'll try to see if I can elaborate.
So short story, power-hungry scientist injects herself with superpower chemical juice and eventually has too much, so she has to travel to the center of the world, an environment which has no more superpower chemicals, so she doesn't explode. And by accident discovers the "Center of the World" phenomenon, where she suddenly becomes the "Most Important Person in the World" and bathes in her extra power until hubris catches up and ends up back-stabbing her.
Long story? Hyper chemicals are my world's equivalent to "magic", and are essentially new elements on the periodic table that mix with existing elements to create a whole new category of trouble. These allow super funky shit to happen- it's the reason why the planet is DND dice shaped instead of round, making them able to surpass the laws of physics.
So someone who could control any amount of them would have "superpowers". A power-hungry scientist like Yuria (the one in the center of the world) could first learn of their properties, then injest concentrated Hyper chemicals to gain supernatural abilities. Of course, this comes at a cost. Everyone on the planet naturally gains small levels of hyperchemicals throughout their lives, because they're everywhere- but the more hyperchemicals you have in your body, the more unstable it becomes and you can eventually explode or die some other horrible way. Yuria came dangerously close to those levels, so instead of say, trying to get rid of them, she searched for a perfectly controlled environment that receives no hyper chemicals so she could keep her power and still survive.
Eventually she decides on the center of the world- the core of the planet being hollow and hyper chemical free for reasons I don't yet have. She quickly builds an elevator to the core (by herself) (because what else would you do if you're jacked up on super elements) and discovers that 1) the core is a white small room with nothing but smooth walls and otherwise very comfortable 2) there's already someone there.
In fact, there were actually 2 people- a mother and her 1 day old child.
(That child is Mokaro, my very first oc ever, fun fact.)
So now these three people are the "Most Important People of the World". It's a phenomenon I don't actually have a reason for, but think of it this way; by being literally the center of the world, the entire psyche of humanity shifts in your favor. Random but important events happen for you or because of you, or you just take a big part in them. The butterfly effect changes to benifit you all the time. People start randomly knowing your name. Weird shit like that happens.
But there IS a hierarchy to the phenomenon. Those who stay in the center affect the surface, but once they leave the core they lose their status. The more people sharing this title, the more divided it's power is. And someone born IN the core gets to be the most important person of all- they're born with inherent status and can leave with it still in effect, although not as strongly. But would someone really give birth there? Apperantly, yes.
The Menguante (Mokaro's) family are relatives to the first person to discover Hyperchemicals, and continued their extensive hyperchemical/world research as a family trade. So eventually they also discover the "Center of the World" phenomenon and make plans to have one of their kin be born in the core, both to test the outcome and out of pride.
So a pregnant family member was eventually brought to the core, and left alone to peacefully give birth to very important baby.
This happens shortly before Yuria arrives, and when she does, shit hits the fan. There are 3 more inherent properties of the Phenomenon that I didn't mention above- 1) you know the extent of your importance the second you enter the core. You may not know all your powers, or the semantics of the hierarchy, but you immidietly get hit with the realization that you're the most important person in the world. 2) The only one who can kill "The most important person in the world" is another "Most improtant" person. Otherwise, the butterfly effect literally bends events to avoid your death and if nobody kills you, then you basically become immortal. 3) When becoming M.I.P.I.W, this triggers another phenomenon where you become so important that all living, blood-related family dies off through various chains of events, making your dna unique.
All three things happened when Yuria arrived. Because Mokaro was inherintingly the most important person in the room, his mom had to die- but because she was also in the center, only another most important person could kill her. Yuria, refusing to share her status, and now because of fate, kills Mokaro's mom and is left with this very important baby.
Again, the hierarchy comes into play, and although Yuria wants to kill the baby too, his higher status creates a rare change of heart. So instead she sends him back to the surface, and studies the effects of his status as he grows. She is still a scientist after all.
So this is how Yuria gets to Godlike status when coupled with her pre-existing powers and the phenomenon. She obviously can't leave the center, both because it'll kill her and because she wants the extra power. But she is able to create vessels and interact with the surface, and therefore bends things to her will for many years.
Mokaro meanwhile becomes the sole inheriter of his family studies, eventually becoming a scientist himself and getting his own story (with Yuria as the antagonist). I could talk forever but this is ridiculously long enough, so If you somehow manage to read this all then I hope this is interesting anon!!!
