So I decided to repost the swap synopsis as it was flawed and I was tired so I messed up but here.

Please read beneath the cut as all the info is there. I know it is a lot but it provides you with everything.

Jaune remains in the hive and her story with Vi stays mostly the same until Vi gets the job of the head guard. What does Vi do? Brag. Brag so much she drives Jaune to the point that she wants to prove she is better then her and the reason she does become an explorer is to prove she is better then her.

Drakku the “beast”. He lived in a small leafbug village in the swamp. One day he and a little leafbug friend go out to the grasslands to play. The little leafbug is brutally murdered by a big ,vicious, green beetle monster. Drakku goes back to the village in a rush to warn the leafbugs but they believe he killed them and they start centipede discrimination. In anger and grief he goes out to become an explorer to forget his previous life.

And finally Heather. One day after the famous first non wasp explorer teams caption, Leif disappeared on his first mission Heather who just wanted to be respected tried to go out and be the one to save him got caught by the roaches. She was experimented on by the roaches before she escaped. At this point she had been merged with the fungus and when the roaches tried to find her they found Leif in the web and decied to use him as their ultimate experiment. Heather was then caught by the scorpion that replaced the spider and hanged on the ceiling with vines until found by Drakku and Jaune. Also she starts with I but after the fight with the cordyceps monster Leif she entirely goes to we as she and the fungus literally got so close they forgot they were two different entities.

Also Mitch. He is a baby midge that other team Snakemouth stole from the body of a mother midge, lovely. Also H.B helps hatch them.

Stratos and Delilah are the replacement for Maki and Kina but they do have different personalities. Stratos over works himself but he is afraid he will let the kingdom and the king down. He unfortunately leaves Delilah behind as he considers it his job. Delilah is concerned for him and the two bugs are still slackers if not for their massive responsibility the would be just chilling.

Maki and Kina come from the exiled ant kingdom looking to escape the new abusive ruler. They take on the role of bounty hunting to make a living in the wasp kingdom. They are overall the same personality wise.

Mothiva and Zasp are doing small chores. Mothiva believes that one day she will be big and as big as Levi. Zasp and her are in an overall stable relationship and Zasp is just happy to be by her side.

Levi is a top hit actor adored by most. His goal is to be in his words “the main character” and that’s why he pushes team Snakemouth around as he wants to be the central focus. Celia on the other hand is cool calm and collected. Her job is to guard Levi and follow his orders she is paid so she is happy. Despite how bad her job may seem she is happy.

Cenn and Pisci are the new Fen and Eri. They go around doing small town jobs. They are a little cheeky at time but generally follow what they are told as they are gratful for the job that the king gifted them.

Hoaxe is now a decent bug. He is a son of Vanessa and he has now got the throne. The reason behind his desire for the artificers is that he believes with the power it can grant him he can help the citizens of the kingdom with ease and prove that he is good for the throne. To get this however he does so bad things like pile work on Stratos disrespect many by pushing them away and just stressing the teams out with constant work. It is only after Elizant the False steals the artefacts is when he sees he was being a bad ruler. By the end he does grow into a better bug.

Fuff is the other Zaryant he is the guard and head general of Hoaxe. He has an axe :D, I also decied he has a quest because he is great. Zaryant is a huge bimbo. She works under False Elizant unknowing that she is fake. She also is very cocky infact both Fuff and Zaryant in this are cocky.

Wedge the termite is the new Neo. Neo is vining admiring the tech at the bee kingdom while wedge is studying the artefacts for the wasps for A. Discover the ancient roach society and B. Use it to expand upon their own technology making it better.

Tod and Yin are swapped. Tod has elemental magic. H his mom and dad had a picnic in the grasslands but it got trashed leaving his egg there later Stratos finds him and now he has a new dad and mom. Yin is adopted into Heather’s family which is made of her biological brother Myosotis or Myo for short and her mother who I don’t have a name for yet.

The Termites are the new bee’s so the kingdom is much more welcoming to you. The royals Hector and Layra welcome you with open arms though Hector is still dodgy. I say you help fix their power plant which holds the key fragment but get assaulted by a big termite mech suit. If it isn’t clear that is the Swapped bee bot.

The bee’s are not on good terms with the wasps. Bianca is still kind but she has some beef with the wasps after they pushed the ants who are normally their allies away from their original anthill. I say you have to prove yourself by fixing the factor after so of the misinformed ants attacked it. Before you go into factory you once again need to prove you are storming enough to traverse the factory with a mini boss fight with Vi.

The golden settlement’s new god of worship is Pluto. I know I had it as Mars but let me explain. It fits with Heather much better. Pluto can sense entities life force so he could sense the two entity thing with her and could point her in the right direction. Also yes Arie is the Acolyte and the harvest festival is changed to something like the day of the dead but instead of honouring just the dead they honour Pluto for giving the bugs of the settlement and safe travel to the afterlife. The golden hills are replaced with the crypt and the catacombs. The creepy dead rose along side the spider and the scorpion? Yes that is Pluto’s guardian.

Boss wise, the dune scorpion and Spuder swap now a scorpion patrols Snakemouth and a spider now shanks a moth. The spider is also a camel spider. Gen and Eri are two ants who are sick of the ant kingdom however in the wasp they are discriminated against so they turn to crime. Kabbu is now the beast of the far grasslands. He was the one who killed Drakku’s friend but the Leaf bug town blamed him for it. Kabbu finds a okay ending and ends up being adopted by a fine Bit and Master. Leif is now the erratic experiment. They are mindless and after following orders from roaches they flipped and started following their own rules. That does not end well.

Vanessa is but a painting but she lead the fight to gain the ant’s land as wasps. Don’t worry she felt guilt but her people were unhappy and she was determined to turn those frowns upside down.

The travelling merchants are two beetle boyfriends who made a profit in the Defiant root and bought a big pillbug and hired Neil to help them. They work the same as the ingame Caravan.

Doppel as kicked out of his underground bar so he snapped and is now leading a army of wasp haters to steal. From who? Well everbody. That’s rude however his act towards the wasps is impressive.

Astotheles got permission to start his sanctuary and he reused the old underground bar to create a spot where bugs could trade (illegally) and find and locate monster to slay to keep Bugaria safe.

Samira is a music composer ( with a huge crush on Zasp) and the quest we have with her is to help act out a musical.

M.M is having a mental breakdown. He had an acting dream and Levi crushed it. Now he is moping till Jaune cheers him up and he does a good job. His service? He lets you replay chapters and particular cutscenes and quests.

And finally the card masters. Aria as the replacement of Arie she automatically gets the role. Hawk is the swap for crow so he gets it besides he looks the part. Tennent reminds me of Shay, you can’t do anything with them unless you have a specific quest going on and the ship caption, one that I felt as if he fit, I think it is his bulky body and he looks a little similar to Chuck.

hiya! just wanted to note something about your bug fables elytra rant post: technically it could be fashion, because there are plenty of bugs wearing bug fashion (the wasp king's cloak, the termite lady who send you off on a quest to deliver some lunch to her brother, kali, zaryant, etc. ) thanks for taking the time to read this!

it could be BUT in many cases they were the SAME COLOR/PATTERN as their wings i had an image where i broke it down but im too sleepy to hunt it down

like yes maybe BUT it also maybe not

also i think iirc i had elytra and wings mixed up in that post. the part i was complaining about was actually most likely their wings and not the elytra. so the wings being a different color altogether is understandable i think idk its been awhile

Bugtober Day 25: Favorite Moment

Picking a clear “Favorite Moment” is hard for me, there’s a lot I like about Bug Fables, but one moment I particularly like is the part where Elizant II is sad because she wasn’t a great Queen but then Zaryant (and others) give her some support.

...Took a bit of liberty with that part, for comedic effect.

Spotty Justice: Chapter 3

Hello, all! Got a fun one here, this one’s got Ladybugs and Ants in about equal measure.

Levi was having breakfast with Rob and Bub, and was eating pretty heartily too. He knew there was only so much to eat, but he scarfed it down in but a couple minutes, much to his roommates' surprise.

Rob: Gee, Levi, you're real hungry, aren't ya?

Bub: That's why you gotta have a good dinner, man.

Levi: Mm, It's not that I'm starving, guys. I'm just in high spirits!

Rob: That's great, buddy! What's brightening your day? Did my advice help you out?

Levi: Um...yeah...I'm gonna go head out, now, do some more training.

Bub: Again? Lev, you're gonna kill yourself training so much.

Levi: Oh, guys, I'll be fine! Thanks for worrying, but you don't need to! See you both later!

Levi gets his weapon before running out of the tent and into some underbrush, pulling his mask out of one of the bushes.

Levi: Nice, it's still here!

Levi put on his mask and unsheated his weapon before laughing to himself.

Levi: Haha! Look out, evil, for I have awakened and I am prepared to-

Levi stopped his introduction (to nobody) upon hearing the footsteps of a greatly concerned Bug pass by him. Levi followed after the Bug and realized it to be Leby, the girl he noticed arguing with a guard a few days ago.

Leby: Dib! (Pants) I told you not to go this-ACK!

Leby had tripped over a little hole in the ground, and when she noticed this her expression shifted to one of horror.

Leby: DIB, COME HERE!

Dib: There's nothing here, Leby! I'm gonna...be...

Dib started getting horrified himself as the ground below him rumbled something fierce. Suddenly, four Underlings burst out of the ground, surrounding the young Ladybug.

Dib: Ahhh! L-L-Leby!

Levi: Fear not, boy! I shall rescue you!

The Underlings quickly turn to Levi, and one is knocked away by his weapon. The other three growl before burrowing into the ground and surrounding him, like predators that have found their latest meal. Dib runs to his sister's side as Levi looks intensely at the ground beneath himself. Two of the Underlings bursted out, one after the other, but Levi swiftly blocked both of them before stabbing into the ground, taking out the third Underling. The one Levi knocked away rushed back towards him, hoping to catch him offguard, but Levi quickly dodged out of its way and slashed it so hard that all the leaves on its head scattered across the floor. One of the remaining Underlings started to get scared itself, but the other kicked some sense into it and the two started pelting Levi with several quick tackles. Levi blocked most of these attacks, much to Dib and Leby's amazement.

Dib: Woahhh, he's like a supherhero!

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, an Ant Guard had come over and was currently watching Levi's battle from afar. She had originally come in response to Leby's scream, and intended to help (or at least see what may have been wrong), but she was currently too curious to do much more than stare. Eventually, one of the Underlings got past Levi's defenses and headbutted him in the belly. As he doubled over in pain the other one attacked his face, but it hurt far less than it could have, and actually served to improve Levi's balance a tad. Levi noticed that the Underlings were now offguard, and with a mighty slice he took both of them out. By the end Levi was visibly tired, but he still managed to notice the Ant Guard that had been watching him fight.

Levi: Errr, g-greetings-

The Guard let out a small "Eep!" before running off and, before Levi could question why, the Ladybug siblings ran up to him exuding admiration and gratitude.

Leby: Sir, you rescued me and my brother!

Dib: You are so dang COOL!!!

Levi was grateful to have been wearing his mask now, as he started blushing quite heavily from the praise. He was never the most well-known bug in the kingdom, so being so showered with love was shocking, though hardly unpleasant.

Levi: Well...heh, m-my expertise did not appear overnight! I spent much time training, working hard and-

Leby gave Levi a kiss on the cheek (of his mask, but still), making him blush even harder than he already was.

Leby: It doesn't matter to me how you did it. You risked your life to save ours, even though you didn't need to. You're a hero.

Dib: And the best Ladybug there ever was!

Levi avoided talking for a few minutes, knowing full well that what'd come out would be mostly flustered stuttering. Eventually he cleared his throat and sheathed his blade.

Levi: Th-thank you both very much! Stay safe!

Levi leaves to go train some more, and the siblings watch him leave with pure joy...

Later that day, the Guard that had previously spectated Levi's battle with the Underlings made her way to the Ant Lieutenant.

Guard: Uhhh, Lieutenant? I have some info that...I feel the Queen would like to hear...

Ant Lieutenant: Why do you sound so concerned? Spit it out, if the Queen would like to hear it then it must be important.

The Guard whispered to the Lieutenant (a bit of excitement in her hushed voice), and the Lieutenant sighed a little once the Guard was finished.

Lieutenant: Yes, I...I imagine she would like to know about that...

The Lieutenant entered the throne room of Queen Elizant II, where Zaryant was standing fiercely as always and the Queen had just finished discussing the Explorer's Association with Artis. As the old Mantis left the throne room the Lieutenant bowed to her mother and Queen (though her expression remained stern).

Lieutenant: Your Highness. I have some...curious information to relay to you. We have recieved word that a masked Ladybug has been spotted battling various creatures in the Ant Kingdom Outskirts, and he even appears to have assisted some fellow Ladybugs.

Elizant's personal guard, Zaryant, scoffed upon hearing "masked Ladybug", and was quick to bark out an annoyed remark as soon as the Lieutenant finished speaking.

Zaryant: A masked Ladybug? Surely that buffoon doesn't think we'd let him do whatever he wants just because he hides his face!

Queen Elizant II: Wait, Zaryant...

Zaryant and the Lieutenant looked to the Queen in light surprise, and waited for her next words. They didn't come swiftly, though: it appeared as though she was in deep thought for a brief moment, before she finally spoke again.

Elizant: Though Ladybugs can prove to be dangerous...this one's behavior sounds...almost like an Explorer...Lieutenant, what else was this individual observed doing?

The Lieutenant was somewhat surprised by the question, and was almost embarrassed by how little she actually knew.

Lieutenant: Well, we...do not have much more information beyond what was presented to me. Apparently, though, the Ladybug was strong enough to have defeated four Underlings on his own.

Zaryant: Wha-four!? Impossible!

Lieutenant: This is what I-

Zaryant: Those things can tear a beginner to pieces, especially in big groups, there is no way he-

Elizant: Zaryant!

Zaryant almost yelped upon hearing her Queen. Her voice was intimidating and blunt as it often was, though a hint of frustration could also be heard this time (and perhaps it was not merely from Zaryant's interruption).

Zaryant: M-my apologies, Your Majesty...

Elizant:...A Ladybug this strong...that hides his identity...he could pose a threat, could he not?

Zaryant: Indeed, my Queen, and surely that brute is pl-

Elizant: I was asking the Lieutenant!

Zaryant: F-forgive me...

Lieutenant:...While there is possibly some risk, Your Highness, I must admit that the description I have been given of this figure does not paint him as...the conniving type.

The Ant Queen was silent for a moment, until she released a little sigh and shook her head lightly.

Elizant: Even still, we should always be...prepared. Lieutenant, bring Celia to me, and call Artis back as well.

Lieutenant: As you wish, my Queen.

Celia was napping in her room when the Lieutenant woke her with a loud call. Celia stumbled behind the Lieutenant as they walked to the throne room, and she struggled to get herself out of her post-nap grogginess before she was in front of the Queen. Artis, however, was almost visbly annoyed with having to walk back, and he could be heard muttering under his breath as he followed behind Celia.

Celia: Is everything well, Your Majesty?

Elizant: Yes, Celia, though we were hoping to prevent something potentially...dangerous. A masked Ladybug has been spotted fighting monsters in the Outskirts.

Artis: [Ladybug?]

Celia: Is there concern that he might attack the Palace or something?

Elizant: We can never be sure, so that's why I wanted you to watch over him.

Artis: With all due respect, Queen Elizant, I fail to see how some Bug attacking random beasts is any cause for alarm...I also fail to see why this needed to involve me, 'specially when I've got so much paperwork to worry about.

Zaryant: You arrogant-

Zaryant stopped herself before Queen Elizant continued on.

Elizant: Actually, Artis, I was just about to get to that before you interrupted.

Artis: Err, I-

Elizant: Celia and the Ladybug will be forming an Exploration Team, officially appointed by the Association staff. (To Artis) That does include you, does it not?

Celia: Exploration Team? Q-Queen Elizant, I'm not certain why-

Elizant: Celia, your skills in combat are quite impressive, even amongst my stronger soldiers, and your...more casual personality will help keep you inconspicuous as you monitor the Ladybug.

Celia got a little sheepish when the Queen said "casual" (clearly, she was acting a bit too nonchalant around her fellow soldiers), so she felt obligated to be proactive in asking for more details on the Queen's request.

Celia: Why must we be inconspicuous, Your Majesty?

Elizant: If the Ladybug figures out you were assigned to him by me, he may respond less than favorably.

Celia: You think he might attack me or something?

Elizant: More likely he will get more secretive, less cooperative, but whatever the case I feel it would be best for him not to know why you "wanted" to be his partner: for all he knows, you simply wanted to form an Exploration Team and the Association felt he would be a good fit as your partner.

Artis: What if he says no?

Elizant glared at Artis, though her mask kept such an expression hidden from him: she was not in the mood to keep being talked back to.

Elizant: If he refuses to join Celia we shall monitor him in other ways...I feel this, however, would be the best way to go about such a task...If those are all the questions you both have...

Celia: I understand my mission, Your Highness!

Artis: Eh, I suppose I get it...

Elizant: Very well, then. Artis, you are to arrange a meeting with Eetl and Team Maki on how to go about this as soon as possible. Celia, you are to prepare for the moment the Explorer's Association requires you.

Artis and Celia give their respectively tired and readied responses before they head out of the throne room. Celia got to thinking as she headed to her own room: this masked Ladybug...he really doesn't sound that dangerous. She knew that the Queen was handling the whole situation with the Ladybugs in a fairly iffy manner, but this just seemed particularly odd. That said, you don't wear a mask unless you want to hide something...unless you're a performer. Maybe this Ladybug is just some dope that was playing pretend and somehow he fooled an Ant into thinking he was legit. At any rate, Celia went to get herself ready, and she felt that whatever happened, she would be prepared...

Royal Kombat...Training

Another little Blurb, this one being more comedic again: not as silly as the Santa Claus one, but still.

One day, Queen Bianca invited Queen Elizant II to The Hive, but this time was somewhat unusual. While normally, Bianca’s messages would say things like “I would love for you to come so that we can chat personally!” or “You and I should go to the Golden Settlement together!”, this time the message simply said “Please come to The Hive at your earliest convenience, and be at your best status: I have a proposition to make.” Bianca did not request things from Elizant very often: she was typically more of a giver than a taker, so the message was slightly strange to Elizant. Elizant came anyway, having little reason not to trust Bianca. When she came to The Hive she was greeted by some guards and was led to Bianca’s throne room. There she saw the Bee Queen, who excitedly came over and gave her a big hug.

Bianca: Oh, Elizant, I am so glad you made it! Not that anything but your own will could stop you, of course! And as usual, you appear to be in tip-top shape!

Elizant: Yes, Bianca, I am glad to see you well also…

Bianca: So, would you like some tea? I made a special blend today: it’s lacking in the usual honey but it makes up for that in nutrition!

Elizant: That, er, could be nice...Bianca, what was your...proposition?

Bianca stopped for a moment before blushing, apparently having been caught a tad off-guard.

Bianca: Ha, I-I didn’t expect you to bring it up so quickly…

Elizant: It just wasn’t what I tend to hear from you.

Bianca: I suppose so...oh, now that the time has seemingly come I somewhat regret asking in the first place…

Elizant: We’re friends, Bianca, you can ask.

Bianca:...You promise it won’t be a bother?

Elizant: Well, I don’t quite know enough to promise much of anything.

Bianca:...Mm...you are a very strong woman, Elizant.

Elizant was a little flustered by the remark, and now she was the one blushing (though, luckily for her, her mask hid it).

Elizant: Err...thank you? What does that-

Bianca: You train your soldiers, do you not? At least some of them?

Elizant: Indeed I do: I have trained Zaryant and my Lieutenant, as well as a few other high-ranking warriors. I have even given some training to Team Maki.

Bianca: Excellent, you have experience with combat training! That was just what I was hoping for!

Elizant:...Bianca, you weren’t going to ask me for a hit on someone, were you?

Bianca: What-no! Of course not, I would never!

Elizant: Well, I would hope not...what did you want then?

Bianca looked to the ground for a moment, contemplating, before gathering her courage and turning back to her fellow royal.

Bianca: I...I wish for you to train me.

Elizant was completely surprised by the question, and for a brief moment she thought she had heard Bianca wrong.

Elizant: Train you? Like in combat?

Bianca: Yes!

Elizant: But aren’t you-

Bianca: A pacifist, yes. However, I admire your battle capabilities so much. I must admit that my physical state is a tad...lacking for physical confrontations, and this stinger is only so useful.

Elizant: Bianca, you needn’t feel bad for how you do in battle. Ants are naturally quite powerful.

Bianca: I know that, but even a fraction of that power would be more than satisfactory for me. Besides, if you train me, I can potentially train my daughters, and we will be much more capable of protecting ourselves and those we care about! Even if I don’t wish to harm anyone, it would be in my best interest to ensure that none could harm me or mine.

Elizant was not at all expecting this level of enthusiasm to fight from Bianca. She did care much for her hive, though, so it did make sense for her to want to protect it as best as she could.

Elizant: Hmm...you make some compelling arguments, Bianca. Very well, then! I shall train you to the best of my ability, and by the end of this I intend to give you might worthy of an Ant!!!

Bianca jumped for joy and clapped upon hearing this.

Bianca: Oohoohoo, thank you so much, Elizant! (To Some Guards) Brianne, Hannah, please bring the training dummies in here!

Brianne and Hannah: Yes, your highness!

As the two guards left to get the dummies, Bianca turned to her friend with a look of excitement.

Bianca: So, what will we work on first?

Elizant: Hmm...I feel that we should train your legs first: we will begin with some snap kicks. Watch me.

Elizant stood firmly before lifting up one of her legs, bending it so that her knee was almost level to her chest.

Elizant: Now, you do not need to keep your leg this high up: how high you bring your knee can assist with how high your kicks can go.

Bianca: I see. Hmm…

Bianca attempted to lift her leg in the same way Elizant did, but she was clearly struggling with it. Bianca was trembling before her knee was even up to her waist.

Elizant: A-again, Bianca, you do not need to keep your leg that high…

Bianca: I-I-I know, b-b-but I th-think it would help...with…

Bianca loses her balance and falls to the floor with a small yelp.

Elizant: You know, Bianca, balance is very important to good fighting form...have you considered using your wings to help?

Bianca: Ughhh...with all due respect, Elizant, I feel that I will be at my best if I avoid using any crutches, literal or otherwise.

Elizant: Suit yourself…

Elizant was starting to get concerned for Bianca's wellbeing, and as she helped her friend back up the guards had come back with a couple blocks of wood.

Elizant:...Are these your training dummies?

Hannah: Yes, Queen Elizant! They are excellent tools with which to improve our halberd proficiency.

Brianne: [Help with stress relief too…]

Elizant: Somewhat thick for use in hand-to-hand training, are they not?

Bianca: Oh, Elizant, don’t undersell yourself: I am entirely certain you can put those dummies to great use!

Elizant: Well, I-I was actually concerned more for-

Bianca: Why not test a snap kick of yours on one of them? Give me a frame of reference?

Elizant sighed before stepping in front of one of the dummies and unleashing a kick on it. This was not too strong a kick, but it was enough to knock the dummy high up, crashing it into the wall above the throne room doors. As it falls back to the ground, the Bees in the room show amazement at the Ant Queen’s strength.

Hannah and Brianne: WOAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Bianca: Oh, that is so very impressive, Elizant! (To The Guards) Hannah, Brianne, please take no offense but may you two leave for a moment? Just so Elizant and I can focus on our training better?

Brianne: Are you certain, your majesty?

Elizant: Yes, a-are you?

Bianca: Of course, it’s just a little friendly sparring.

Elizant and The Guards: Sparring?

Bianca: Sparring, training; my point is that by the time we’re through I hope to be a much more powerful Queen. And besides, with Elizant here I doubt I would need to fear any threats.

Hannah: If you say so, Queen Bianca…

As the two guards leave the room, Elizant turns to Bianca again, concern hidden on her face but very much emanating from her person.

Elizant: B-Bianca...would...would you like to attempt kicking one of these dummies?

Bianca: Oh, of course!

Bianca turned to one of the dummies and gave it a sloppy attempt at a kick...the dummy barely reacts, but Bianca tears up a tad and clutches her foot in pain.

Elizant: L-look, Bianca, there other ways to fight in close quarters. Take one of my blades.

As Elizant pulls out her swords and hands one to her friend, Bianca takes a turn to give a concerned look to her.

Bianca: You don’t mind giving me one?

Elizant: I have spares.

Bianca: You are so generous!

Elizant responds with a simple “Mhm” as she brings the dummy she kicked moments ago back to where it was originally placed.

Elizant: Now, in good swordplay, form and steadiness are just as important, if not moreso, than the pure force of your swing. Observe.

Elizant takes her blade and, in the blink of an eye, slices her dummy clean in half, once more amazing Bianca.

Elizant: See that? A clean, straight slice. Not only should you swing hard and fast, but you should hold your sword tight and swing as straight as you can.

Bianca: Understood!

Bianca gives her dummy a fierce look before swinging her blade. Unfortunately, she does little more than nick a little of the dummy’s top.

Elizant: Tsk, see, your swing was a tad wavy there. Try again.

Bianca does, but this time she hardly even chips the dummy, dealing less damage than last time.

Elizant: There your swing was too slow: remember, swing steady but fast.

Bianca: Steady but fast...steady but fast…

Bianca tries one more time to cut the dummy...and gets her sword lodged into it. Elizant tries to stifle her laughter, but a little does escape. The Bee Queen doesn’t notice, though, too busy trying to get the sword out.

Bianca: I-it’s stuck!

Elizant: (Chuckles) Bianca, let me help you.

Bianca: I am so silly, how did it get stuck?!

Elizant: I-it’s fine, Bianca, this sort of thing happened to me plenty of times…[when I was a teenager].

Bianca: I need to get...it…

The sword is removed...and flung straight up into the air. The two Queens scramble for a moment, trying to determine where the sword will land. Bianca stops and nearly screams when it lands hilt-first into her fluff, the blade scarily close to her face. Elizant is most certainly done laughing now, and she comes over to get the sword back.

Elizant: Really, Bianca, you do not need to force yourself to be a fighter. You can-

Bianca: I do not wish to be a fighter, I wish to be capable of fighting...Aha! Fisticuffs!

Bianca puts up her dukes and gives Elizant a determined look. Under her mask, Elizant gives Bianca the most worried look she had given anyone in a long time.

Elizant:...Bianca, I do not want to hit you.

Bianca: Will you allow me to hit you?

Elizant: I-I mean, I...I’m certain I’LL be fine.

Bianca: Then it is only fair for you to hit me back: sparring does not go just one way.

Elizant: Ehhhhhh...should I teach you how to throw a punch?

Bianca: I feel that I have a decent idea, but thank you.

Elizant: Ummm…

Bianca: I will go now!

Bianca runs up to Elizant and unleashes a flurry (if you can call it that, it was rather slow) of punches onto her. After fifteen or so blows Bianca is tired and needs to catch her breath.

Bianca: *Huff*...*Puff*...How was that? Are you hurt?...Oh Gods, I am so sorry if I hurt you too hard.

Elizant was perfectly fine, Bianca’s punches being about as effective as a young ant...one that had no combat training.

Elizant: Err, I am...alright, Bianca. No need for concern.

Bianca: Phew, I am so relieved...alright, now attack me!

Elizant: B-B-Bianca, are you certain? Ants can carry ten times their own weight, I-I-

Bianca: Well, you needn’t give me a full-force uppercut, just a punch with about half-power!

Elizant:...Um, how about a quarter? Or a tenth, to level the playing field more>

Bianca: However you feel is necessary, just don’t hold back too much: after all, this will help me with my durability!

Elizant: I pray it does…

Elizant really does not want to harm Bianca, but she would also rather not disappoint her, so she knows she should use at least some force...With relent, and a little regret, Elizant winds back her fist before sending it, with about .9/10 of the force she would otherwise use in battle, straight into Bianca’s belly. Bianca immediately fell to the floor clutching herself, all breath knocked out of her.

Elizant:...OH GODS, BIANCA, I AM SO SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE-

Bianca: R-really Elizant, I am fine. You don’t need to apologize.

Elizant: A-are you certain!? Entirely!?

Bianca was clearly in a lot of pain, and her normally sweet, soothing voice was now weak and raspy. Despite that, she still had a smile on her face.

Bianca: Yes, Elizant, I am…

Elizant kneeled down to lift up her friend, and gently walked her over to her throne.

Elizant: Look, Bianca, training is only part of getting stronger. You also need to focus...on...your diet!

Bianca: Mm, I understand that...far too much honey for me, I suppose, (weak giggle followed by a cough). I assume your diet is purely the most healthy of foods, yes?

Elizant:...Y-yes…

Elizant failed to mention the Plumpling Pie she partakes in every morning and night.

Elizant: Let’s start by setting up a list of good foods to eat, making sure your meals are nutritious and that you eat a reasonable amount of them.

Bianca: And soon we can train some more?

Elizant:...Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes…

Bianca: Ohhhh, thank you, Elizant…

The two friends hugged again. Though Bianca was hurting, she looked forward to the future very much. Elizant, on the other hand, was very much worried for Bianca’s health (and worried as to what her guards would think that she sent their queen/mother to the floor with one punch), but at least Bianca was enthusiastic...
