(me, my parents, my sister, and the baby are sitting at the kitchen table eating lunch)
baby, pointing at the light fixture over the table and signing "on": o.*
my sister: we actually can't turn that light on right now, because the lightbulb inside is burnt out! it needs a new one.
baby: ighbu.
sister: yes, lightbulb! granddaddy said after we eat he's going to climb up there on a ladder and change it, and then the light will come on!
baby: gadada! adda, uuu! ighbu o!
sister: exactly!
baby, signing "on" and pointing at the light and then my dad, with increasing urgency: GADADA ADDA UUUU. O.
my sister: we're going to finish eating first though, ok?
baby: nonono. O. gadada adda uuu.
[a split second goes by]
baby, pointing to himself: ba. adda uuu. ighbu.
me: you're going to climb the ladder and change the lightbulb yourself?
baby: dzyeah. *pointing to the buckle where he is buckled into the high chair* ububu.
me: unbuckle you? so you can change the lightbulb?
baby, highly businesslike: dzyeah.
*pronounced like "on" without the n

Brooch
Edgar Bense for Boucheron
c.1890
Conceived as a dazzling dragonfly with delicate plique-à-jour wings, this brooch epitomizes the Art Nouveau style in both fashion and manufacture. With its translucent wings set en tremblant and its sparking rose-cut diamonds, the present jewel catches the light brilliantly. In the enameling technique called plique-à-jour, vitreous enamel is applied to openwork wire cells without a backing, creating the transparent effect of stained glass. The house of Boucheron was founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron (1830–1902). First opened in the Galerie de Valois, under the arcades of the Palais Royal, the shop was perfectly situated in the center of Second Empire Parisian luxury. In 1893 Boucheron moved to the Place Vendôme—the first of the great French houses to occupy that location—where it remains headquartered to this day, with more than 30 branches across the globe.

the sharp shadow charm seems to represent a soul totem (or the AC bug it was based upon) but instead of the standard body it has what seems to be either a cluster of blades or a cloak (considering the effect, probably both)
it can also be seen as said AC bug dashing towards the camera, making use of sharp shadow

As someone who has been living with severe suicidal ideation my entire life I wanna tell you all something, you don’t have to stay alive for yourself. People will say it’s a bad idea to live for external things because they’re temporary, and it’s true living for yourself is ideal but if you’re not to that point yet that’s ok too.
I’ve lived for my dog for the past 4 years, before that I lived for my snakes, before that I lived for my cat. You can live for whatever needs you and whatever matters to you. Live for your best friend, live for your plants, live for your pets, live for your animal crossing town. Live for whatever keeps you alive and the day will come when you can live for yourself.

⚔️ 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Lantern Flail
Weapon (flail), rare (requires attunement) ___
A fiery lantern hangs at the end of the chain of this flail. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While holding it, you can use an action to magically light or extinguish the lantern’s flame. While it’s alight, any target hit with the weapon takes an extra 1d4 fire damage from the attack. If the fire damage die rolls a 4, the target continues to burn; it takes another 1d4 fire damage at the start of your next turn unless it or another creature within reach uses an action to put out the fire. It continues to burn in this way if the fire damage die rolls another 4.
While the lantern is alight, it sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. ___

Here is some interesting Japanese animation from the country's late silent period, an adaptation of a fairy tale I'm unfamiliar with about why sea water is salty. (Unlike the US, the silent era lingered a bit longer in other countries. Japan continued producing silent movies until about 1935-1936.)
I love the gag at the end with the octopus.

Boots
1865-1875
United States
The prevailing fashion for long skirts in the 19th century and the general importance of feminine propriety encouraged rather limited decoration of contemporary ladies' footwear. While ornate bows and embroidered vamps are relatively common on evening shoes, heavy soled walking shoes , like this pair of button boots, were seldom ornamented with anything more than a simple bow or buckle. By consequence, the presence here of an elaborate machine-embroidered design covering the entire upper is of particular interest. The beaded cordwork was applied over the embroidery, presumably by the wearer, to increase the decorative program even further, perhaps for a special event for which it was not possible to purchase shoes specifically.
