The Teen Improv NYC program is a series of after-school classes designed specifically for students 11 years and up, of all experience levels, to learn and explore the fundamentals of longform comedy improv and scene work in a fun, supportive and positive environment. You will play games and exercises that teach you to be spontaneous, enhance your acting and theater skills, make discoveries, and grow as a creative individual and as part of a team.
Improv is a great tool for building self-confidence and your artistic voice. It's also a cool way to meet other people and have fun outside of school! Your regular instructor may be joined by guest artists to enhance your class experience. All skill levels are welcome.
