I'm happy with how the Grim Tales turned out this year

The fact fhat I managed to write more than one is an achievement alone. I wrote 9 stories and I'm really satisfied with all of them. While I didn't make it to 10 this year, I hope to get there by next year. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

RWBY: Arthur's Killer Evening ft. Team SSSN

At The Crowbar, Team RWBY, JNPR, Oscar and the servants, Lancer and Saber sat around two table watching the performance of Team SSSN. Sun was the lead singer and guitarist, Sage was the bass guitarist, Neptune was the keyboardist and Scarlet was the drummer. Arthur looked at Yang at towards Team SSSN. The plan was coming together.

Jaune: Saber? What's going on?

Saber: You'll find out soon enough, Master.

Sun: Okay everyone, this next song is gonna feature a guest singer. One of our friends, Saber. Give it uo for him, guys!

Teams RWBY, JNPR Oscar and Lancer all gave an applause as soon as he walked on the stage.

Saber: Hello everyone. This a song that I'd like to dedicate to my girlfriend, Yang.

The entire bar erupted with applause. Saber and Sun both took bows and the young swordsman walked up to Yang, who was grinning widely.

Yang: Saber, you were amazing! I had no idea you could sing!

Saber: Forgive me for not telling you earlier. I really wanted you to be surprised. *blush*

Yang: *chuckles* You are so cute. Come here!

Yang wrapped her arms around Saber and they both leaned in for a long, loving kiss. Everyone cheered.

Ruby: Awww yes!!!

Weiss: What a man! *squees*

Blake: Just like out of a fairy tale!

Pyrrha: *sniffles* Beautiful.

Nora: Way to go, Saber!

Ren: *thumbs up*

Oscar: *whispers* I wonder if I can do that for Ruby.

Jaune, on the other hand, wasn't celebrating. While the others carried on watching Team SSSN play, he snuck out of the bar. He walked a few steps away and leaned on a wall.

Jaune: *deep sigh* Damn it. I thought I was getting over this, but... it's still there. *places hand on his chest* I don't even know why I should even care. Saber's better suited to her anyway. He's a better boyfriend to Yang than I could ever be. He's just... perfect!

Small tears fell down from his eyes as Jaunw tried to suppress his jealousy. But it was no use. He fell to his knees on the floor, silently crying.

Salem's forces were gathering together for the invasion of Atlas. It was to be their biggesg battle yet. At Schnee Manor, General James Ironwood discussed his plans with Teams RWBY, ALPN, Penny and the Ace Ops. Oscar tried to maintain his composure on the outside. But inside, he was terrified. Fighting Salem's lieutenants in Haven was one thing, but this was a full scale invasion consisting of humans and grimm. He looked over to Yang and tapped the table nervously. Once the meeting was over, he decided to walk up to her.

Oscar: Yang!

Yang: Hm? *turns around* What's up, Oscar?

Oscar: I- *blushes* Um... I just wanted to say...

Yang: Yeah?

Oscar: ...good luck out there. *smiles* All of you. Make sure you kick their ass.

Yang: *smiles* Salem won't know what hit her. *ruffles his hair* Thanks Oscar, make sure you get some rest, okay?

Oscar: Hehe, you got it.

[Whitley's Room]

Whitley: So you didn't tell her?

Oscar: *sighs* I couldn't. It's not like anything would ever happen between us anyway. I mean, she's way too old for me. And even if I was old enough, I'm no good for her.

Whitley: Well you're not gonna get anywhere by sulking about it. Listen, let me give you some advice; survive this fight and then tell her how you feel.

Oscar: But-

Whitley: But nothing. If you don't tell her, you'll regret it.

Oscar: ...I guess you're right.

Whitley: Of course I am. Now turn off the lights and go to sleep.

Oscar: Thanks, Whit. Goodnight. *smiles* So... are you gonna tell Penny?

[Outside Schnee Manor]

Sifting on a swing, Oscar watched on as everyone was training. He saw Yang fighting against Ren in hand to hand combat. Their was a furious beauty to her movements and strikes. From his scroll, he reminisced at the selfie Yang took of the two of them during their first training session. He smiled widely and chuckled.

Oscar: *closes eyes* 🎵If we could take a photo, eternalize this moment for the days when I don't believe. When our love gets stolen 'cause there's no exception and I know time will take you far from me🎵

🎵Let this night invade my lungs. You're all I wanna breathe. Right beside the lake, I burn for you, you burn for me.🎵

Frantically, Oscar ran to her, leaving behind his scroll that still had the picture of him and Yang.

Oscar: *turns around and holda her* I love you.

Yang: *holds him* I love you too.

The two of them.leaned in together and sealed their lips with a loving kiss.
