Truth be told I haven't been drawing actively for myself until.. super recently. The things I draw for awhile are all for work, but since my current assignment requires me to draw muscles, I need to study them.

I chose Kyo as my subject matter, since he has always been my favourite character, the reason why it's almost always him in my posts. It helps that I do have a lot of ideas when it comes to him lol.

I do need to draw him with Tohru sometime soon. I miss drawing her.

Haru is not in the line up because I had just recently drew him so he already had his spotlight (okno actually Haru and Hiro both were in the lineup right beside Kakeru but I got tired so I didnt get to finish them on time 😅)

Anyway, in my head, their age and heights (in the future) are as follows:

21 Momiji: 177cm

22 Kyo: 182cm

23 Yuki: 179cm

23 Kakeru: 181cm

22 Haru: 183cm

17 Hiro: 176cm (and still growing)

//this is in no way canon, but Yuki is slightly shorter than Kyo, Kakeru and Haru in the manga)

Also, as working professionals, Momiji being the heir apparent to a family business, so he is currently working alongside his dad. Kyo, a dojo instructor and a personal trainer (so I made him bigger than the rest to accomodate that profession, also because I want to lol), Yuki, a lawyer because he's as snarky as he is cunning, and Kakeru, a pilot i guess. 🤣

Haru would be a jewellery and goth/rock/punk shop owner, most probably a frequent collaborator with Ayame. And Hiro, a student.

I drew them based on a fanfiction I am currently writing so whatever you read here is, again, all headcanon 🤣

I wish we had been given more of their afterschool life but since we didn't, I shall just make my own.

Playing with eye shapes for fun.

Because at least 50% of them shares the same face with varied hairstyles (manga), teenage me often confused Kyo and Kureno when I read the manga 😅

I like my men with slanted eyes, with sharp eyebrows, which is why I gave them to my favourite 😌 also because I think it fits his personality better than his cousins.

Happy Belated Birthday Tohru!

So I forgot that her birthday was in May, but hey, a late birthday wish is still a wish.

Kyo had planned and prepared all the nice things to surprise her; a dinner, an actual nice present that he specially ordered, and even a beautiful medium sized bouquet, because the big ones are way too pricey and they are kinda in a tight budget. But none goes as planned. It was raining heavily so they couldn't go out for dinner that night. His present for her was back ordered, and the bouquet was in a puddle somewhere. After apologizing for not being so good at these kinds of stuff to his beloved sweet beautiful wife, he had to go to plan B.

So here he is, unwrapping his new birthday present for her: himself. Because he can, and he will.

Anyway, no Tohru can say no to that face.

And that folks, is how they ended up with baby Hajime.

HEADCANON.

Here me out. Kyo can sing. Like, actually sing. Been listening to Kenshi Yonezu (singer of CSM's Kick Back) for weeks now and I imagine that is how Kyo's singing voice would sound like (and yes I am aware that Kyo's va is a singer but his songs isn't my cup of tea but Kenshi Yonezu voice is too gorgeous and his songs are bangers!) And the only ones who knows his little secret is Shishou...and Hatsuharu.

Because occasionally after they (Kyo and Haru) finished their training early back in their middle school years, they'd spent a few short half hours at Shishou's, who was the one who bought the karaoke equipments because his beloved son has a beautiful voice pfft so the boys could release some stress by rocking and screaming some death metal or something.

This idea came out because I have been listening to Jpop too much 🤣. I hate his sperm donor, but my headcanon was that Kyo's biological dad and his mum were in the entertainment industry, his dad was a producer or somewhat, and his mum was a singer. It's just something that came to my mind after seeing all those records at the sperm donor's house.

Maybe Kyo knew who his mother really was; an up and coming artiste, but never got her chance to rise up and be a star.

Or maybe he doesn't, but inherited his mother's talent for singing without him knowing.

Anyway my point is, in my brain Kyo is a great singer, and it is something that he was exceptionally good at that he didn't care to admit, even if that talent could have won him against Yuki (because Yuki is multitalented in a lot of other things, just not the things Kyo's good at, like cooking, and driving apparently 🤣. I am biased but Yuki has always been the smarter of the two so he wins on that part).

This is just one of many headcanon of mine that I wish I have time to do fanfics about. I have so many ideas that seemed interesting in my head, but not when putting into words. Grammar is my enemy.

Sometimes I wonder how Tohru can keep her hands off of this hunk while living under the same roof as him.

I mean, he's the cat. I know I would pretend to accidentally hug him just to cuddle that furry kitty.

That must be the cat mum in me. 🤣

Anyway yeah so I have this headcanon of Kyo with long hair for years now. In my head his hair is no longer that short blob or whatever basic hairstyle he usually wears, it's this.

Edited his head a bit and I like it more now.

In my own fanon he kept his hair longer after he got married, cause u know, Tohru actually likes it 🤣. Incidently, he has Eren's hairstyle lol.
