one of my favourite things about tony is that he'll eat anything that sounds good to him? he has gluten free waffles for breakfast and offers green superfood smoothies to everyone and orders a plate of fresh veggies at a pub and tried to swear off dairy, but he gave that up when ben & jerrys named a flavour after him and had a box of donuts for his hangover breakfast and inhaled several burger king cheeseburgers in a row and tried to have a whole pizza as a workshop snack, but he also has sashimi with sake on his private jet because he insists you can't have one without the other and refuses to swallow a bite of a walnut date loaf even though he's already chewed it up, but also when he's banged up and tired he just wants shawarma or a tuna fish sandwich. i love him so much

I don’t think current comic book writers will ever understand how important it was for me to see Tony Stark, a billionaire avenger who is a overall good person, lose damn near everything and nearly die in the streets as a homeless man, because of his alcohol addiction. To read all that and then watch him get back up again. To go to AA. To find the will to live again. Its so painfully human. It’s something I treasure and I wish they would channel that type of emotional tragedy again in the comics.

headcanon that the stark industries formula 1 team doesn’t ever actually win anything. but it’s still respected. because it’s the big rookie team. while the big teams extend contracts mostly to the big names, SI always hires directly off formula 2, sometimes formula 3. they’ve always got the youngest drivers and engineers in the game because the mission statement is not about winning, it’s about actually giving people the opportunity to acquire experience so they can get to the big leagues
