There’s a lot of reasons me having kids may not be a good idea. Both biologically or by a surrogate or anything else.

But I really hope 10 years from now it’ll be Christmas Eve again and I’ll be drinking hot chocolate with a partner I love more than anything and kids who can’t wait for Christmas to come. I hope I get to sit with them and colour in cute Christmas colouring books while we watch A Charlie Brown Christmas under cozy blankets with a colourful tree in the corner…

I want to be woken up the next morning on Christmas to a little boy or girl or maybe both tugging at my hand telling me to go downstairs and open presents with them at an hour so early I would never usually wake up at it but I would for them.

I hope some day I can give a kid or maybe more than one kid if circumstances allow it the magic and happiness I always wished Christmas would include.
