I remember in season 1 the original 4 Mike, Will, Lucas and Dustin were just thought of as nerds, outcasts and most definitely weirdos (so said by the bullies). What makes me so sad and really feel for them is that when Losing their best friend, The Mind Flayer, Vecna, and the problems with finding out about Dr Brenners testing program, what Mike, Dustin and Lucas did was face what had taken Will, Will had told the mind flayer to go away(literally ending up getting burnt alive by his own mother), Mike helping keep El safe from 'the bad people' , then single handedly trying there absolute hardest to defeat vecna(with others help obviously). It makes me sad that in the end of the day they are still thought of as nerds, outcasts and weirdos which is horrible considering they are literally saving the world.

Another thing that gives me this horrible feeling is that their mental health is something they should be worrying about because in this day of age(2022) mental health to most people is SO extremely important, and these people from Hawkins and Cali have just saved the freaking world- so I’m hoping that the mental health side of them gets shown more in season 5.

can you just image the look on mikes face when will tells him he’s gay. I feel Mike would at first be shocked but he would just crush will into a massive hug. It would be the sweetest thing ever. I can also imagine both of them thinking about each other and how much they mean to each other and what their friendship means to each other.
