Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

Oh yeah, plenty of times. I remember when I was testing out perspective. I was frustrated as hell !!!!!!! Not to mention complex backgrounds and all that stuff. Sometimes even detailed mechas or more realistic art. I dropped so many small art projects, because I felt like I couldn't do them.

However, it is necessary to keep trying if you want to master whatever you're struggling with. It feels good when you're able to bite through and finish, even despite it not looking the way you want it to, because you actually managed to get it done. Continuing to do so will only make you better. I mentioned perspective being something that made me give up, but after playing around with it a little, I found out that I actually very much like using it. All of my recent art (that was not posted, sorry moots) includes it and I am very glad to have gotten past the struggle it used to be.

So long story short; Absolutely.

hello. normally i dont make posts like these but my living situation has gotten a bit desperate. im currently in debt with my bills and i once got my electricity and wifi router taken away and temporary went homeless for a bit.

sorry i did not speak on my issues before, since i did not want to guilt trip people into giving me money. i feel terrible doing that.

i cannot work well and finish my commisions quickly due to battling with my disablity, and plently of mental illnesses.

woe, i finally finished my downpour slugcat refs+lineup anyways theres gonna be some minor spoilers for spearmaster, heavy spoilers for saint , be warned.

Gourmand! the rotund beast! i gave them scars all over the place since they have definitely got hit/bit a couple times and lived to tell the tale. the weird spider fang ones are from colalescapes( Is that how you spell it?)

I think i forgot how spider bites look.

artificer's next, and i REALLY likes the idea of using the weird swoop-scar with fur thing all over her, so i did. Not to much to say on this one,enjoy her missing a finger :)

teh ribuet.... their head fins are based off of beta fish fins, they have some control over them but cant make them fully flare out on land. When they were a slup they were able to though! they also have a shark fin and weird fin tail because Why Not. plus some gills. This thing is just a amalgam of what i find neat on amphibians and aquatics.

Now were entering kinda spoiler territory(?) not really i thought i drew the 5p scars on this guy, oh well. That line on their stomach is from a certain iterator (thanks srs/j).

Also theyre 'bony' because of their ribs being unusually large, and their markings highlighting their bones :3 esp on their legs

soiler spotted! its Saint, the weird ass slugcat. I made them have frostbite, though it doesnt really affect them at all. They have my wonderful copy and paste echo texture on the dark parts of their body, minus the fur. And if you look at the dots on their forehead, theres a marking that looks like a closed eye, jee, wonder why THIS guy has that/sarc anyways thats the full post take this joke i made before i drew riv
