Title: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
quick mini imagine that I had in the chamber for a while
Imagine: You don’t want Katsuki finding out you do asmr. Too late.
‘Peacefulness and tranquility’ was your number one priority when filming your videos. You always made sure to film between the hours of 2am to 5am, it’s when everyone is asleep and if not asleep half the college dorms are out to other parties and frat houses. Your roommate was out for the night which made this the perfect opportunity to film your asmr video.
Your content consists of a lot of whispering, clicky trigger words, ear to ear mouth sounds and positive affirmations. You began this channel as a joke back in highschool but the surprise of surpassing 50k subscribers in under a month made this now a side job. Within a few years those 50k subscribers multiplied into a whopping 2.1 million subscribers. And so you made a small career out of it, your friends encouraged it and though it was hard and almost weird to explain to family how the process is and how much your channel has grown, they were happy for you nonetheless.
However there was one person you didn’t want to know.
*bang bang bang* “Hello~ I know you’re in there.”
Interrupted mid recording your eyes snapped wide and the sudden harsh knocking at your door. Immediately you stopped recording and looked at the time, it was nearly 3am. You looked towards the door with a confused expression spread across your face, your roommate was out and had known you were filming so it couldn’t be her. You waited to hear another knock.
“Pipsqueak! Open up while I’m being nice.”
Oh no. Oh yes. The one person you didn’t want finding out about this little embarrassing secret, Katsuki Bakugou. He’s a known friend and study buddy sometimes but he’s also the last person you expect to be knocking at your door at this time. You got up from your desk and disconnected your mics. Your palms turned sweaty and you quickly needed to think of an excuse.
You propped the door open just a smidge, “What? I was sleeping.” You fake yawned.
“Uh huh sure, listen I need my notes I lent you back.”
You mentally cursed at yourself for not copying them earlier. You sighed, “Actually, I haven’t copied them yet. Can I give them to you at class tomorrow?”
“You had them for the whole day. What kept you so busy?” His annoyance peered through his eyes, which trailed to look behind you. Instinctively, you stepped out by closing the door behind you. Katsuki was taken aback.
“Stuff.” Such a lame excuse.
Though yes most of your friends encourage your channel and even watch it from time to time, this isn’t that type of friend. Infact, on your side, Katsuki felt like more than a friend and you wouldn’t dare crush your possible chances with him by exposing him to your clicky words and whispering. What if he thought it was weird? What if he judges you and makes fun of you for it? Sure it was petty to think that, but after all you’re just a girl crushing on a boy.
“Right…fine you can give them to me tomorrow but not a day later pipsqueak.” He warned.
You nodded your head and shooed him off. He bids you goodnight and heads back to the elevator. You gone back into your room and decided to continue filming, editing will be rough but you’re on a schedule.
Later that night, after Katsuki returned to his dorm room, he laid on his bed and immediately put on his headphones. Just as his roommate walked in, disorderly.
“Oh shhii, my bad were you sleeping?” His red haired friend asked, stumbling into the bathroom.
“Not yet, about to.”
“I’ll be quiet.” Kirishima held up his finger and drew it to his lips as a hushed sign.
“You're good shithead, I’m just watching videos, they help me sleep.”
“Like white noise?”
“Something like that.” He turned away from his friend, brought his blanket closer to his chest and laid his phone propped up as he listened to one of his favorite asmr videos, particularly your positive affirmations one.
He figured in due time you’ll tell him, but for now he’ll keep his secret from you as long as you keep him from yours.

Hiii can you right a bakugo x severely injured reader
we dont get enough of these😓😓 IF YOU DO THANK YOUUU
Hiii , wasn’t sure how much severely injured or if blood was okay butttt yes! Love this idea!! ❤️
also it’s pretty lengthy lol i wasn’t sure when to stop 😅 also I had this song in mind while writing this.
It was supposed to be a simple evacuation mission. Simply guide the residents to safety and rescue any injured civilians then take them to the medical tents for treatment. You were assigned to Ground Group B, go through each alley way of apartments and help civilians out of harm's way. Your partner dashed off to help the others taking on Slade and his minions. You moved quickly and silently, you never knew who could be lurking about.
“It’s okay, you’re safe now, take my hand.” You extended your arm out to a terrified child, hiding behind the dumpsters covered in dirt. The air was filled with dust and rubble from the fallen buildings, the child looked to you, his hand trembling in fear. You waited patiently till his hand was fully in yours, and slowly you guided him out of his hiding spot.
“Alright, don’t let go okay? Stay with me, you’ll be okay.” You reassured him.
Your other hand stayed hovered above your thigh holster, securing a flare gun in case you needed aid to your position. You were holding his hand tightly as you walked through the streets desperately trying to find the route you knew that led to safety.
With the thickness of the dusty air clouding your vision, you decided to use your quirk to help light the way. Your quirk, Rays, is able to make waves of blinding lights enough to illuminate a dark forest and when concentrated enough can blind an enemy for a whole five minutes. But for now, you used only enough as a flashlight would.
“yo sunshine, what are your coordinates?”
His voice startled you for a moment, only a moment until annoyance took over.
“What did I say about calling me that?” You tap your ear piece that has a built-in mic that withstands over 200 meters and works connectively like Bluetooth.
“Tsk, you still respond to it. Where are you?”
You roll your eyes, “I’m here on the ground, trying to help this kid I found to a medic tent. He has some surface wounds.”
You glanced back at the young kid who naively sucked his thumb as a way to help make himself feel safe. You chuckled.
“Where's your partner? I thought there was a buddy system.”
“Oh you mean Aoyama? He took off, said he wanted to help you guys fight Slade. Didn’t really give me a choice, isn’t he there?” You whispered, peering around a corner of a building scoping out for any signs of threat.
“No…he isn’t, wait so you’re alone?”
You smiled softly, “Aww, are you worried about little ol’ me, Katsuki? Don’t worry, I can take care of myself.”
“I never doubted that Sunshine. Just don’t like the idea of you alone out there.”
A soft smile played on your lips, “You don’t like the idea of me period, Suki.” You said sarcastically.
“Tsk, never that Sunshine.”
This fun little banter you had going on with Katsuki actually helped ease your nerves a bit. You both had this secret push and pull game you two played together and it was really the best thing you could cling to at a time like this. You didn’t like the idea of being alone, especially with obscured vision and in the presence of a young civilian. You could light the entire block if you wanted but you didn’t want to give away your position to potential threats.
“Katsuki?” You questioned when static was playing through your ear piece.
“H-He’s –––stay–—move!”
You stopped in your tracks trying to make sense of those broken parts of his voice. Your breathing became more heavy and you quickly tugged the kid closer, lifting him to your arms basically carrying him as his legs instinctively wrapped around your waist.
“Is the bad guy here?” The young boy asked nervously.
“I’m not sure. We have to hide for now.” You started to run down the street in hopes of just finding the evacuation zone by luck.
“He’s gone! Slade left the field, stay where you are, don't move!”
You were listening to his words yet at the same time a figure in the distance was emerging. Your eyes squint trying to make out if this was a friend or foe. You stopped in your place and waited for some kind of signal, the figure was walking closer but something about them seemed injured almost as if they were limping.
Another civilian? You thought, slowly placing the child down slowly on his two feet. You started to approach the person but the young boy tugged on your hand, his eyes pleading you to stay. You crouched down to meet his eye level.
“I have to see if they need my help. They could be hurt.” You patted his head affectionately.
You took a deep breath and turned to the person, who stood there not making a sound nor were they walking towards you anymore. You proceeded with caution, shimmering light emerging from the palms of your hands.
“Are you okay, do you need some help?” You shouted, taking baby steps closer, your gut was fighting your steps telling you to turn back, to run, to hide, to blind this person before they could hurt you.
You should’ve trusted your gut.
Your eyes grew wider as you saw this person raise his arms, aiming for a sonic boom clap, but not at you. Your eyes traveled to where their hands were pointed and horror filled your veins. There was no injured civilian. This was Slade.
His sonic boom clap would send this kid to oblivion, killing him instantly. Your feet quickly took off heading back for the kid who stood there fidgeting with his fingers. Every step from your feet echoed in your head, and for a ration second, you threw your hand back and used Ray to its full extent, waves of blistering white hot light shot out from your hand instantly blinding Slade causing him to throw his aim off.
At the very last second, his hands clapped and his sonic boom trashed to the nearby building. Cracks spiderwebbed across the walls, and the ground trembled beneath their feet. The young kids' eyes were full of panic and tears. You were close, so close. Just enough to grab him but then debris rained down from above, shattering windows and blocking your only pathway to reach for him. With each passing moment, the building groaned under the strain, its supports buckling under the immense pressure. The building began to crumble. Floors pancaked on top of each other as the structure collapsed in on itself.
With the surge of desperation you reached out for the kid and in a blink of an eye, you pulled him out of his stand still panic state, and tossed him to the other side of the street, clearing him from the damage that’s now been done.
The kid cried out as he watched rocks of cement topple over you and bury you inside. Dust and smoke filled the air once again, the boy crawling over trying to remove any pieces of debris. He couldn’t leave you. Not after you saved him.
.
.
.
“Damn what was that!” Denki shouted, pointing towards the town where different groups of rescuers were dispatched. Their eyes watched as smoke rose from the unknown to them, a fallen building. Katsuki had a bad feeling, he turned away, turning his mic back on.
“Sunshine? Come in Sunshine?”
“Who’s Sunshine?” Ashido tuned in, “He means y/n, only he calls her that for whatever reason.” Denki reminded her.
“Shut up assfaces! Sunshine, come in, what was that explosion?”
His only response was static. He chewed his bottom lip and ripped off his ear piece in frustration. He took a glance at his group, fairly enough everyone was doing okay with minor injuries. His head was doing backflips and somersaults trying to think if you were okay.
“Sunsh–Y/n isn’t answering her coms.” He informed Izuku.
“Wait really? Maybe she’s with her group rounding up the civilians and heading to the hospital.”
“That’s shit, she would’ve answered me. I’m going to look for her.” He pushed aside Izuku.
“W-Wait Kachan you can’t go by yourself!”
“Try and stop me.” He sneered before taking off.
He blasted through the air heading towards the faded smoke cloud only to see that Izuku was right on his tail following him. He scoffed but didn’t reject any help.
His mind was racing with possibilities. Maybe you were farther than 200 meters. Maybe Izuku was right, you could be at the hospital right now tending to victims' needs. Or perhaps your ear piece fell out. Anything was better than what his mind was creating.
“Down there!” Izuku pointed.
Katsuki's eyes saw the fallen building and a small kid sitting against the rubble hugging his knees. The two landed right by and immediately went to the crying child. Izuku, handling kids better than Katsuki, took charge.
“Hey little guy, are you alright? What’s wrong, what happened here?” He helped dust him off and wipe away his tears.
“Bad guy..” He sniffled.
Meanwhile, Katsuki was looking around for any information or indication on your whereabouts. Checking the ground for a broken earpiece. He could ask for the story later but right now his only concern was you. There was no one in sight. His heart was falling to the pits of his stomach, his breathing becoming shallow at the narrowing of possibilities.
“A-And then, she sa-saved me.”
“Who kid?” Katsuki quickly pulled the kid towards him, also crouched down to his size. The young boy only lowered his head, tears flowing through as his small hand pointed to the pile of rubble besides them.
Both Izuku and Katsuki's eyes slowly looked over to what he had pointed at. Katsuki’s heart pounded in his chest as he frantically began sifting through the debris, his hands bloodied and trembling with each movement. Every fiber of his being was consumed by the desperate need to find you, his Sunshine. With each passing moment, his fear intensified, driving him to dig deeper, to search harder, refusing to accept the possibility of you being lost to him forever. Every tug on another rock, his eyes were filling, stinging of tears that threatened to fall. His sniffles reminded him what he could possibly lose. No more fun banter. No more Sunshine jokes. No more late night talks. No more pranks pulled. No more secret stargazing. No more teasing of his hair. No more beautiful smiles when you laughed. No more stolen glances. No more shy compliments that make you blush. No more. No more you.
And then, amidst the rubble, he saw you. You laid motionless, battered and broken, your body barely recognizable beneath the broken glass and concrete. Horror washed over him as he knelt beside you, his hands shaking as he gently cradled you in his arms. Tears welled in his eyes as he whispered your name, praying for a sign of life. But you remained still, your breathing shallow and faint. He brushed your hair to the side letting rugged sobs escape his lips.
Izuku immediately discharged his flare gun while talking to his teammates on their coms, informing them on the situation at hand. Katsuki holding you dearly, praying for a miracle, for you to open your eyes and just joke about how much you scared him.
“Please..please Sunshine..please open your eyes.” He begged.
“Katsuki maybe we should–” His eyes darted to the crying child.
“I’m not leaving her!” Katsuki screamed out, his voice hoarse.
Every fiber of his being ached with sorrow as he struggled to comprehend the magnitude of the tragedy that had befallen them. The weight of guilt and helplessness bore down on him, threatening to crush his spirit as he grappled with the realization that he had failed to protect the one person who meant everything to him. Tears blurred his vision as he knelt beside the pile of debris, his heart torn asunder by the devastating loss. In that moment, Katsuki felt an overwhelming sense of emptiness, as if the very essence of his being had been ripped away, leaving nothing but a hollow shell in its wake.

I’m definitely doing a part two I love this
Tumblr media
Working as Recovery’s girl apprentice in the most prestigious and sought after school of U.A high, the students always kept you busy. With most already having their hero provisional licenses it means they’re able to be in battle, even if it’s to help guide civilians to safety. Nonetheless, a handful still get injured while fighting and protecting people and because Recovery girl needed help, she sought after you. Luckily your quirk is being able to take away pain, a sure concentration and a bit of hand holding, you’re able to suck up any pain the patient is feeling, even if it’s only temporarily.
A recent scare brought the reality of your quirk back to you when all you could think of was helping people. You forgot to drain the pain onto another living thing, that’s the hard part. Usually, you buy plants and dispose of the hurt by holding the leaf or stem of your plants and releasing it. It instantly kills the plant of course and you had too many pots of plants to throw out, so you figured ‘I could handle it. Just for one day’. Well, that day you had absorbed the pain of an injury to the stomach. This kid was knocked on his ass easily by how bruised his stomach was, so it all hit you at once during the night. You fumbled out of bed, clutching onto your stomach groaning and whimpering in pain. You had nearly screamed from how much it was hurting, you needed an outlet badly but there were no plants or any living thing near you to let it out. You had rode the night by yourself in pain and watched the next morning as your stomach now shared the identical bruises of the student you helped. From then, you never forget to buy plants on your way to the dorms.
“I just don't get why she dorms here.”
“Mister Aziawa said–.” Began Midoriya
“I know what he said dumbass!”
Of course, it was Katsuki questioning again as to why you dorm in class 1A dorms. Sure it’s strictly for the hero program students but Aziawa made an exception and Recovery girl didn’t like the idea of you sleeping in the recovery wing, it’s already your place of work why should it be your place of sleep too?
“Tch, it’s not like her quirk makes her a hero like me.” He chuckled to himself all laid back while Midoriya shrugged uncomfortably.
You closed your door after that. You didn’t need to hear his remarks about you or have him question the ability of your quirk. It was pointless to mingle and try to be friends with them anyway.
They’re basically heroes. I just..take away pain for a little while. I’m no hero like Bakugou.
.
.
.
Later that night while everyone else was asleep, you were up doing some laundry folding. You figured no one would be in the kitchen to make yourself a late night snack. But there he was, standing over the counter mixing ramyun and the steam rising from above.
“Oh..sorry I didn’t think anyone would be awake.”
Katsuki shrugged and continued eating his food. You walked around him to the kitchen stove and grabbed a small pot.
“There’s still…some left from what I made. It’s spicy though.”
“Oh? You don’t mind if I have the rest?”
“I don’t care.”
You moved to the resting pot that had a plate covering the top. You remove it and welcome your nose with the delicious scent of spicy curry ramyun. You grabbed the pot and a pair of chopsticks and sat across from Katsuki. You both sat in silence while munching on the noodles, not sparing a glance to each other.
“So you think I can’t be a hero?”
“Where the hell did that come from?”
“I overheard you and midoriya talking earlier.”
After some thought Katsuki spoke, “I never said that. I said, not a hero like me.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?”
Suddenly you both were not hungry anymore. You played around with your bowl of noodles and watched Katsuki ponder his thoughts. You bit the inside of your cheek thinking you made the atmosphere awkward and not to mention ruined any chance of befriending the future number two pro hero.
Katsuki got up from his stool, placed the dish in the sink and started looking around the kitchen drawers for an object.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to–what the hell are you doing?!”
Katsuki gave a half crooked smile and dropped a heavy bag of rice onto his foot. His nose scrunched up in pain but it was more like a two on a scale of one through ten. You quickly got up and pushed the bag off his foot, examining for any swelling or bruising. Thankfully it wasn’t anything too serious.
“You could’ve really hurt yourself.” You scolded him like a child, Katsuki looked at his foot and shrugged. He looked around once more and went into a drawer, took out a kitchen knife and with horror in your eyes he slid the blade onto his palm. Blood immediately dripping down his arm to his elbow.
“What the hell is the matter with you?!” You pushed the blade out of his hand and into the sink. Immediately without hesitation you held onto his bleeding hand and closed your eyes. A ray of light blue and yellow colors shimmered around your hands, holding him.
Katsuki’s eyes watched in awe, never knowing what color your quirk showed until now. He watched as the blood that was previously trailing to his elbow, now being sucked back up to the place of injury. He watched your face in concentration, eyebrows scrunched together and your hands squeezing his. He’s had other injuries before and had them treated by Recovery Girl usually. But now, he’s here late at night holding hands with you as you patch him up with your quirk.
You slowly opened your eyes and slowly started to let go of Katsuki's hand, all the while staring into his eyes. At first you thought he would’ve backed away or something but, holding eye contact like this felt somewhat intimate. Your cheeks started to heat up and you took a step back.
Katsuki examined his hand, no mark, no blood, not a scratch on him, not even a scar. He held up his palm.
“You healed me.” He said nonchalantly.
“Yeah? That’s what I do.”
He sighed, “Idiot. I mean, your first instinct was to help me. And you did, I’m healed. That’s what heroes do, they help people.”
You didn’t have a comment after that, you only watched as Katsuki smirked and started to walk away leaving you alone to smile at the warmth that he left to fill your heart.

In honor of missing a Valentines Day post, whoops
Imagine! Hopeless romantic BoyfriendBakugou scrolling through TikTok and YouTube clips on ideas for Valentines Day.
It’s still two weeks away but still, he likes to be prepared and have the best way of asking and best gift. BoyfriendBakugou wants this to be perfect, you deserve nothing less.
So, with the help of Kiri and some supplies he gathered, BoyfriendBakugou arranged the most beautiful and romantic, nearly cheesy way of asking.
While being blindfolded as he lead you to this, secret date by the fields, on the count of three you removed the black blindfold and as if on cue, butterflies were released (from the help of Koda) and your eyes trailed to the laid out picnic blanket topped with pillows and rose petals, a basket of delicious snacks and prepped sandwiches as well as a sign covered in lights spelling out,
Will you be my valentine?
And there stood, BoyfriendBakugou, dressed in his best, with a bouquet of your favorite flowers tied with his signature colors. Your eyes gleamed with heartfelt tears.
“So..will you?”

Imagine! BoyfriendBakugou sneaking you in his dorm room to cuddle. Holding your hand as he leads you to his door, you checking behind you to see if anyone is awake or following.
BoyfriendBakugou wouldn’t admit in the light of day that he needs you next to him in order to sleep. However, he will admit it to you and only you.
Although, BoyfriendBakugou is the all time big spoon cuddler, and a huge fan of you clinging to his arm while you sleep. There are nights like these where he just wants you to play with his hair.
So with his head on your chest, his arms wrapped around your body and legs curled up, BoyfriendBakugou falls asleep to the soft gentleness of your fingers through his hair.

Training with Bakugou hasn’t always been easy. To start off, he never holds back. He believes in fair fights no matter who he’s battling. He takes in seriously as if he is for real fighting some street criminal. It’s one of the reasons why you respected him so much, and thus leading you to ask him one day,
“Can we train together?”
For sure, this threw him off. A lowly extra asking for training time with the all mighty explosion murder god, Katsuki Bakugou, himself? He thought it was some stupid joke so he laughed. However your relentless pestering, seeing him everyday after class with the same question wore him down and he gave in, for the fun of it.
Never did he thought he would meet someone who threw the first punch. Sure enough it caught him off guard but with his skills he dodge it last split second. He saw that determined look in your eyes, and he grinned.
This is gonna be fun, he thought.
The first session was everything you’d expect, you got your ass, respectfully, whopped. Of course you knew Bakugou was stronger and his quirk is both great for close up and distant attacks. Your quirk, sonic boom, was more of a distance advantage.
It packed heavy punch to any in the 10 mile radius, so it was safe to say anyone five feet close, would have partial deafness for about a week. However, you’ve been working on using lesser range for short distance. Your mentor, Present Mic, goes all out for his quirk but helps you out on moving your sound to small groups and spaces.
If any classmate saw to their naked eye, it’s obvious Katsuki has the upper hand. But they also know not to diminish your combat moves.
“Damn it, where are you hiding extra!”
Cut to a month later and fourteen training sessions later, Bakugou struggles to find you on this ground. Ground 1A helps you a lot more, granted more distance and places to surprise attack yet you weren’t going to hide like a coward anymore.
You take in a deep breath and held your hand into a fist making a small hole for the sound to travel. You aimed towards Bakugou’s direction from behind, and then you scream.
He clutches his ears but the direct line shot blasts him into a tumble, of course he gained balance soon enough and started holding his ground. You rushed up to take this opportunity for a more close combat, you swung your leg to his side an unknown weak spot. He aimed his gauntlet and started sharp shooting his explosions. Your body was thrown back hitting a wall, yet you were still up.
“Quirks?” You asked.
“No. I wanna see how much you’ve learned.” He answered, unlocking his gauntlets and letting them fall to the ground. This met business.
You both had your hands up in balled up fist, no quirks meant this is now a hand to hand combat. Surely to see how much you’ve progressed but now’s not the time to be nervous.
A first round house kick was thrown by you, blocked by Katsuki as he jabbed your stomach, the open area. You threw your jab at his cheek, neither of you were pulling punches. You knew Katsuki wouldn’t fight with you if you did, so no matter how much it hurt, you wanted to earn his respect.
Jab after jab, kick after a heavy ass knee strike from you, Bakugou took note of this you using your legs a lot in a fight. Finally in a brief moment of pain, Katsuki took this opportunity to grab your legs and slam your back to the ground. The impact brought out a grunt of pain. But Katsuki stayed above you, both of yous catching your breathes and letting his sweat drip onto you.
“You’ve…improved.” He said in between breathes.
“I….had…to.” You respond.
“I’m…..fuck….impressed.”
“Good.”
Maybe it’s because your back just got slammed into hard concrete and your winded but, Katsuki out of breath from fighting you and dripping sweat hovering over you? This was a sight to see.
For a moment, you saw Katsuki’s eyes dipped to your lips and then back to your face. Subconsciously, you did the exact same thing and hoped he didn’t realize. His eyes darted away and he removed himself to just sit up besides you. You brought yourself and felt the awkwardness creep in.
“Wanna’ get some food?”
You smiled, “yeah, I’m pretty hungry. Where?”
Katsuki shrugged his shoulders, “My dorm? I’ll make some spicy ramen, with poached egg.”
The blush swept across your cheeks as you smiled to the ground. This feels like a step towards friendship after being training buddies. Of course, this is new territory for both of you nevertheless, you looked to him and smiled and said yes.

bakugou sat on the park bench in pain, the wetness from the rain couldn’t wash away his sadness nor could it compare to the coldness in his heart he already feels, reading your letter.
“…too different…”
“….I was unhappy….”
“I need time and space away…..from you.”
How could he possibly not have seen it? The days he felt glory for capturing yet another villain were the same days he forgot dates, or an anniversary or didn’t bother to see you at work. Could he have been so blind? So self-involved?
Perhaps…
Or perhaps it was those same days he feared for his life that what if this was it? What if this was the moment the bad guy would win and he would lose not only his life, but his life with you. You are his greatest love and he felt so much pain and dare he say, embarrassed, for not making more of an effort to appreciate you just a little bit more.
Bakugou's fierce exterior crumbles, and tears betray the vulnerability beneath. The explosive hero, known for his unyielding resolve, finds himself at the mercy of emotions as he grapples with the weight of losing you, forever, the girl who ignited a softer flame within him. His crimson eyes, usually ablaze with determination, now shimmer with tears, reflecting the depth of his emotions. Your absence leaves a void that even his explosive prowess can't fill. In this rare display of raw emotion, Bakugou confronts the undeniable truth that love has the power to both elevate and humble even the mightiest of heroes.

Paying Attention
Summary: You’re sort of a chatter box to anyone that will listen. You ramble about a million different things that sometimes doesn’t even relate to one another. So while trying to tell a story that actually means something, you fall on deaf ears. Not to Bakugou though.
Tumblr media
“Then! A huge boulder of cement was flying through the air and I was just about to use my quirk to stop it when–guys?”
As I sat there at my desk looking at my four friends talk amongst themselves I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment. It seemed like my friends didn’t care nor pay mind to what I was saying. I do talk a lot and usually it’s babbling like a baboon when I’m nervous but this near death experience was something I wanted to share. To have a listener or someone try to relate?
Little did I know, amidst the dying words in my throat, a silent listener lurked.
“And then what?”
The class bully, known for his cruel tricks and unkind demeanor, had surreptitiously become an unintended audience for my tale. An unexpected twist, indeed. The realization hit me like a gust of wind, a mix of surprise and nervousness.
“You were listening?”
“Hm. You’re too chatty to ignore, continue.”
While I had always yearned for a captivated audience that hung on my every word, having the class bully as my solitary listener posed a peculiar challenge. But there was something intriguing about this unexpected observer. Maybe beneath his intimidating facade lay a flicker of humanity that craved connection, longing for a story to whisk him away from his own reality. Or perhaps it was simply his primal instinct, reveling in the enjoyment derived from others' discomfort.
Regardless of his motivations, the atmosphere in the classroom suddenly shifted. With every passing moment, the realization that Katsuki Bakugou was listening painted my narrative with a newfound weight. I couldn't ignore his presence as he nonchalantly twiddled with his pen, avoiding eye contact with me. It fueled a surge of adrenaline within me, pushing me to deliver a tale that transcended mere words.
As my story continued, I found myself entwined in a delicate dance of words. Each sentence was carefully crafted, every detail woven with precision to capture their attention. The desperate need to keep my sole listener engaged unlocked a previously untapped reserve of creativity within me. It was as if my words formed a bridge, attempting to connect with a person who usually seemed so disconnected from the world around them.
Time ceased to exist in those moments. As the story unfolded, Katsuki’s stonewall expression softened ever so slightly. A twinkle of curiosity glittered in their eyes, silently urging me to forge ahead. The power dynamics within the classroom momentarily shattered, subverted by the wonder of storytelling.
And in that tiny window of respite, as I held Katsuki’s attention captive, an unspoken connection was established. It was a shared moment, a testament to the transcendental power of narratives. The balance of power may have tilted, if only for a short while, and in that fleeting instance, I could almost see Katsuki’s vulnerability lurking beneath their hardened exterior.
As I concluded my tale, a surprisingly genuine smile crept across his face. In that singular moment, the silent bond formed through storytelling revealed that even the most unexpected listeners, with their hidden depths and guarded hearts, could be swayed by the magic crafted within the words we choose to share.
“And after all that, can you believe it that I made it to class on time!”
“I believe it, mousy. Tell me more.”
“More what? That’s the whole story.” I start taking out my notebook just to doodle to make time pass until next class.
“Tell me another story.” He leaned back in his chair.
“You’ll listen?” I teased.
“I’m always listening.”

❄️Reassurance🔥
Summary: You and Shoto confessed your feelings for one another but haven’t really acted on it yet. No one has made the first move or anything so you’re starting to think if your feelings are dying down?
small work sorry, will be back with more Katsuki next week
Tumblr media
Besides lunch hour, you don’t seem to interact with Shoto as much. You sit opposite sides of the class, have different training hours and sessions, hang with the opposite kind of friend group. Definitely the definition of opposites attract. When reminiscing of that amazing day when Shoto, himself had called you out to meet privately outside the dorms. It wasn’t late, nearly sunset while everyone else inside was attending to their own chores or friendly conversations, it was just you two outside..alone.
He confessed very straight forward about having these certain feelings for you. He describe it as ‘wanting to be near you everyday, all day.’ Obviously very romantic but being Shoto, his delivery was that, straight forward to the point. You, of course, reciprocated the feelings. After having the most embarrassing crush on him since the very beginning of even meeting him. Though it wasn’t the romantic confession you thought it be, it still sent your heart into the clouds. Nearly breathless.
But after a couple of days, being on opposite schedules and not really defining what was the next step you suffered back to just watching him from a distance. Any glimpse you had caught of him walking with his friends, or training with Bakugou at the ground A area, you could count on one hand. Of course you knew he was busy, and you’re busy and exams would soon be near. Dorm duties, study sessions, and training privately with Mr.Aziawa, there wasn’t really much time to have a proper conversation.
Has he forgotten? Was it just a random confession to give? So that he can have his feelings out in the open and forget about them? Did he not try to look for you as hard as you did for him? Does he appreciate the small glances he gets of you? Does he even look at all?
Then days turned into a week and a half. Only catching glimpses and glances, once nearly had a whole minute seeing him hang with Midoriya by the lunch line. You hate how much Shoto was on your mind, meanwhile you probably weren’t on his. To try to ease your mind and stupid thoughts, you decided to try to eat lunch with him. It’s a very big step and you hoped you weren’t overstepping or basically self-inviting yourself to his friend group. Normally you sat with Tokoyami, Shoji and Jiro but once they saw you walk towards Shotos table, they immediately were onboard. Of course that is they’ve been pushing you to do it since day1.
“Hi, can I have lunch with you…guys?” You added in the last part so it wouldn’t seem like you only spoke to Shoto, even though you were but everyone didn’t need to know that.
“Yeah of course!” Midoriya smiled.
“Sit next to me, y/n!” Ochaco beamed.
“It’s nice to see you.” Shoto said, for once keeping eye contact with you. You placed yourself in front of him, taking up on Ochaco offer to sit with her. Honestly it was better than sitting next to him and fidgeting the entire time.
As the group continues their chat about which teacher had the hots for another, also including you into the debate. You felt a sudden warm press against your ankle, you looked down to see what made you get goosebumps. To your enjoyment, it was Shotos ankle, pressed slightly against yours as his, almost as if it’s hand holding but..with ankles. You glanced up to see him quietly enjoying his soba with a tint of pink hitting his ears. You smiled to yourself, and tried to focus on the conversation meanwhile you’re playing footies with your ultimate crush.
It was a small interaction and barely any contact but, it was enough to give you the reassurance you needed.

Stolen Glances
Summary: Youre the new student in class 1A, though most classmates were accepting and even trying to be your friend, there was one classmate who kept his distance but you would catch him staring?
Tumblr media
In the bustling world of superheroes and extraordinary abilities, there exists a prestigious institution known as U.A. High School, where aspiring heroes gather to refine their powers and shape their destinies. It is within these hallowed halls that you, as a new student, embarks on a thrilling journey in proving to not only yourself but others who doubted you that even a small quirk like yours, can save lives.
As the doors of U.A. High School swing open, anticipation fills the air, mingling with the nervous excitement of countless aspiring heroes. Amidst this sea of aspiring talents, you stepped forward, determined to prove your worth and make your mark on the heroic landscape. Surrounded by classmates with diverse quirks and unique abilities, you quickly realizes that you’re about to embark on a life-altering adventure. Your tour around the halls and training rooms bring a vibrant and bustling feeling of the campus teeming with energy. Heroes-in-training hustle from one class to another, engaging in rigorous physical training, honing their combat skills, and expanding their knowledge of the hero profession. There was much you needed to catch up on.
So for the past 2 months, earning your nickname as “new girl” you befriended a boy named Midoriya, a polite and warm girl, Yaoyorozu and their group of friends as well. You mixed in well and no longer had to worry about who to sit with at lunch.
The crowded cafeteria bustled with students chatting and enjoying their meals. Among them, a young man found himself unable to take his eyes off a particular person. His heart raced as he stole glances in your direction, hoping to catch a glimpse of your radiant smile. Every movement you made, every word you spoke, enthralled him.
This feeling, this hope that you would smile at him. Hope that you would first to say hello to him. This was definitely a first for Katsuki Bakugou. He never had the urge to watch over someone or to creep around the halls in hopes he’ll see you. He secretly thanks God for putting you in his class and having you sit behind him. For one, he definitely would’ve been distracted if you sat in front or next to him. And two, he still was able to be somewhat near you. It was all very confusing for him but ever since you walked in class with a nervous smile and a pretty red bow in your ponytail, Bakugou couldn’t take his eyes off of you.
Lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice the passing time or the curious gazes of his friends. All his attention was focused on you, the object of his affections. With each stolen glance, his admiration grew stronger, his feelings more intense. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to hold your hand or share laughter with you.
As fate would have it, on this particular day, the universe conspired against his attempts at subtlety. Just as his eyes lingered a moment too long on your graceful form, you turned your head in his direction. Your eyes locked, and in that brief instant, time stood still. He felt a jolt of panic surge through him, unsure of how to respond to being caught in the act. Unable to maintain eye contact, his gaze quickly darted away, desperately seeking refuge in the anonymity of the cafeteria. His cheeks flushed crimson, betraying the embarrassment he felt at being discovered in his vulnerable state. He feared that he had crossed a line, that his adoration had become too evident, and he wished he could retreat into the safety of his thoughts.
Bakugou knows the whispered rumors and jokes about his demeanor and his ‘arrogant’ attitude at being the best. “I know I’m the best why not brag about it?” Oh, but if his enemies could see him now. Looking away like some shy worthless extra, he didn’t like feeling the sense of exposure or embarrassment. Which is why this was so embarrassing he didn’t know how to deal with it. Being caught staring at your crush is something he didn’t expect could happen in his life.
But as he cautiously glanced back in your direction, a smile tugged at the corners of your lips. It was a gentle, understanding smile, one that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. In that simple gesture, he found solace and a flicker of hope. Perhaps, just perhaps, his unspoken feelings had not gone unnoticed. With renewed courage, he resolved to face his emotions head-on, to be honest with himself and with you. It was a small step, but an important one.
From that moment forward, he vowed to muster the bravery to share his heart, for he understood that life was too short for regrets and unspoken desires. And who knows? Maybe, just maybe, their paths would converge, and his crush would become more than just a distant dream. So with this newfound courage and determination, he stood up from his table, threw out his food and made hesitate yet confident steps towards your table’s direction.
He stood there as Midoriya gave his greeting and offered lunch, the others continued their conversation. But Bakugou wasn’t here for pleasant greetings with Deku, he cleared his throat and directed his attention to you.
“Welcome to U.A High….y/n”
“Oh that’s right! Kacchan, you never got to meet y/n. But it’s been 2 months since her arrival, oh I’m not saying you’re not ‘new’ anymore y/n! Of courses there’s still a lot of things you haven’t seen yet and–”
Bakugou tuned out his friend babbling like a nervous idiot but he too felt like an idiot. Though he stood there with a stoic expression his thoughts were the opposite.
Welcome? Welcome? She’s been here for two months why the hell would I welcome her now? Why couldn’t I say anything different? Anything would’ve been better! For fucks sake, I’m not some idiot that can’t put words together damnit now she thinks I’m an idiot. Say something please so I don’t die of embarrassment.
“Thanks Bakugou, I hope we get to train together sometime.”
Fuck I think I’m in love…

How He would : MHA 💥Katsuki Bakugou💥 PT.2
How He Would 💥Ask you out on a date This could happen in two different scenarios.
Tumblr media
Scenario 1 As part of a training exercise Bakugou needed you to help train him since your quirk has better far range attacks. He’s great at dodging and aiming for his attacks, this was just part of his plan. He challenged that if he’s able to land a hit on you, you grant one wish. If he can’t, he’ll grant your one wish. Through a tough battle and maybe with a more determined fighting spirit, he won.
“I’ll win one of these days. So what’s your wish?”
“We go on a date, tomorrow at 3pm.” His smug smile dazzles you and butterflies swarm your stomach.
Tumblr media
Scenario 2 You were walking home late from class one day. You decide to stay late to rewrite your disorganized notes and any you missed from the previously class. Usually you walk home with a friend but, they couldn’t stay too late. Luckily, to your surprise you noticed after a few minutes, your classmate Katsuki Bakugou was walking ahead of you.
Nearing your street he suddenly stopped which made you stop. Almost like he was walking you home? But then he let signed out a breath he must’ve been holding in for some time, and spoke.
“Do you wanna’ go to the summer festival with me tomorrow?” He couldn’t turn to you, can’t risk you seeing him nervous for this.
“Wh–Yes. I’ll go with you.” Never in a million years did you think your all-time crush would ask you on a date.
How He Would 💥Act on the Date
Tumblr media
Very nervous. He kept his hands inside his pockets because he was afraid of sweating too much. Which still played out well for him as you wrapped your hand around his arm. He felt tough as fuck. But he loved your carnival outfit, it actually matched his colors well. Your cute white romper paired with white vans that had orange flames around the edges. He wondered if they were personally designed or if they came that way. Anyway, he rode all the rides with you having an amazing time. He won you a stuffed animal and loved seeing how pretty you smiled.
“Are you hungry?”
“Starving.” You sheepishly said.
You both agreed on spicy wings with fries, and as for a sweet tooth moment, you persuaded him to try funnel cake. He loved it. Especially how excited you got explaining the first time you ever had funnel cake.
Damn she smiles so pretty.
How He Would 💥 say Goodnight
Tumblr media
After having what he deems to be the best night together, he walks you home hand in hand no longer afraid of the sweatiness. You reassured him of his hands, no matter how rough or sweaty they may seem. He liked that you knew how to reassure even when he didn’t ask. He’s too proud to admit when something bothers him plus he didn’t want to seem like a weakling. Too early to have you view him in a weak position.
“Well, this is me” You stopped and pointed at your front gate. Still holding hands you blushed at how Bakugou didn’t want to let go.
“Alright. Um, I’ll walk you to your door?” He didn’t mean for it to sound like a question but he just didn’t want to part from you yet. He knew how to end an amazing night, all his romance information came from all the manga he reads and keeps. But reading it is so much different than actually trying to do it.
Come on Kats, just slowly lean in… His mindset was tryna pump himself up as your steps got closer to the door. And then, as you both stood there at the doorway, you shyly tucked your hair behind your ear.
“Okay well, goodnight Kats.”
“Goodnight.”
Don’t be a pussy don’t be a pussy don’t be a pussy.
He moved in, trailed his hand to cup your cheek and your heart was beating so fast yet you stood frozen. You couldn’t believe this was happening, your heart swooned when your lips touched feeling the heat radiate not only from his hand but his cheeks/face also. A perfect first kiss to end the perfect first date.

Imagine arguing with 💥Katsuki Bakugou💥
Nothing has been going well lately for you. Missing essay assignments for your sociology class, late night shifts causing you to miss dinner time, said late night shifts from your shitty boss who doesn’t understand the idea of a breath mint. Getting a speeding ticket because you were late for school. You’re favorite sushi place closed down and your hair is frizzing up because of damn weather conditions.
All you wanted right now was a warm bubble bath with candles and soothing music playing in the background while you sip a glass of white wine. To fall into a trace of relaxation, keeping away from the real worlds problems. To just have a moment to yourself. A simple moment. Is that too much to ask?
“Killed your ass! Hop off the game already you’re so bad!”
Ah, the wonderful yelling of gaming frustration coming from the living room. Your eyes weren’t surprised by your boyfriend, Katsuki gaming in front of the television with his headset and mic settled perfectly in between his ears. Otherwise, he would’ve heard you come in.
After standing there for about five minutes he finally noticed you. “Oh welcome home babe. Dinner’s in the oven.”
Well at least he cooked dinner. You walked into the kitchen setting down your car keys and handbag. Grabbing a plate a fork from the cabinets you pull out what was left in the oven for you. To your dislike though, it was spicy meatloaf with curry rice.
You understand your boyfriend loves spicy food, but doesn’t it have to be all the time? Why couldn’t he ask you what would you like for dinner? Is it that hard to send a text or to try calling?
With a heavy sign you put back the utensil and plate, looking around the pantry for anything else to substitute the growing hunger laying in your stomach.
No one thought to buy groceries either…. Why was everything left to you? Buying groceries, making dinner satisfying both parties, cleaning the damn dishes he used.
You rolled your eyes and grabbed your favorite box of cereal, fruity pebbles always makes things better even if it’s for a short moment before they get soggy. You lifted the box from its spot only to have it feel light as a feather. You shook the box around trying to feel out how much would be left until you hear Katsuki call out from the living room.
“Oh I forgot to tell you. I had the last bowl of that fruit cereal this morning! Sorry hun I was hun–behind you! No behind you Kiri! Damn it Ashido you’re supposed to cover his ass.”
You got to be freaking kidding me… Your grip tighten around the box and finally frustration snapped. You flung the empty box straight to his head, so hard it knocked his headset off in fact. Immediately Katsuki pulled a face and got up from his seat.
“Seriously? You’re mad over damn cereal!”
“No I’m mad at you!”
“For what? I made you dinner!”
“No, you made yourself dinner. You know I can’t handle spicy food.” You shouted.
A small moment of realization hit him but he wasn’t going to admit his wrongs. “Then eat shit then! At least I cooked something meanwhile all you eat is takeout.”
The distance of talking started getting closer together with every notch being brought higher. “Because I work late! Ever thought to ask me what I would want for dinner? What I would like to come home to?”
“Don’t give me that bullshit, I patrol my ass in serious dangerous areas. And when needed I go out and fight! That’s my job! All you do is organize paperwork for a boss that’s a mere extra.”
“Oh so now you’re going to blame me for not having a quirk and saving people? Some people are normal! Regular! Having to work shitty jobs to make a living Katsuki!”
“I’m not listening to this pity party. Quirk or no quirk, you can always find a better job.” You see him beginning to sit back down and grabbing his headset from off the floor. But you weren’t done speaking. You marched right to his console and immediately pulled all cords not caring which was for what. The tv screen had went black, you threw the cords at his feet with a winning smirk.
“What the fuck is your problem?!” As his anger rises you could see his hands starting to give off sparks.
“You’re my problem Kats! This apartment is my problem! My job is my problem! My hair is my problem! Everything is a fucking problem with me!”
Breathing heavily your eyes start to water but you didn’t want to cry not now especially. You pushed passed Katsuki and headed straight for the bedroom instantly locking it. You grabbed the hem of the fluffy blanket and threw it around. Throwing around the pillows and just trying to take out your frustration on something other than your boyfriend right now.
Wanting more destruction to voice out your anger, you grabbed your night table lamp and threw it at the bedroom door with a final scream. Now only sadness floods through you as realizing you’d would have to clean everything up. Before you’re able to take a step towards the door, Katsuki burst through with concern worries look. Unfortunately he stepped on the pieces of sharp colorful glass which the lamp was made of. But the pain in his feet couldn’t compare to the pain he felt in his heart seeing you cry.
“I’m sorry. Everything is just…a problem.” You lowered your head wanting to mask the tears as you thought for a sign of weakness. Katsuki carefully walked around the mess and grabbed you hand, pulling you into his chest as you cried letting out the anger in a different way that didn’t cause destruction.
“It’s okay. Let it out, I’m here. You’re okay. I’m sorry too. I’ll buy you five hundred fruity pebble boxes. Just please….take the glass out my foot.”
A small giggle escaped your lips. You wrapped your arms around your lover and snuggled closer, deeper into his scent.
“My feet are bleeding dumbass. But…let’s stay like this a little longer.”

Imagine jealous classmateTodoroki creating snow falling from his dorm room ceiling because he overheard through the grapevine, meaning Mineta talk about how Tetsutetsu gave you his umbrella because it was raining.
“How manly.” Says Kirishima.
“How romantic.” Mina teases.
“Come on, he was just being nice. The rain stop so I’m going to return it to him now.”
Although only a classmate to you, Todoroki couldn’t and wouldn’t let you go alone. Shoving the snow behind his door with his foot, he followed behind you to the front dorm doors with an item of clothing in his hand.
“Hi Shoto.” You greeted politely with a small smile. Though his heart was pounding like crazy at that sight, he never spoke to you one-on-one only ever heard your voice in class but this was face to face. For once Todoroki is lucky for his poker face.
“I’ll go with you.”
“Really? Sure I don’t mind.”
He extended his arm out offering the items of clothing he was holding. Luckily it didn’t burn to ash because of his nervousness.
“Oh I’m not cold, but thank you. Let’s go.” You said kindly rejecting the navy blue sweater.
Not cold?
.
.
.
“Jeez! I’d thought it be humid after the rain not this cold.” You held your arms close as possible for any bodily warmth.
“Would you like to wear my sweater?” Once again offering the navy blue zip up sweater.
“Yes please.”
JealousClassmateTodoroki watched you put it on, seeing your muscles relax due to the warmth, of course thanks to his fire quirk only letting out some steam to keep it nice and fresh for you. He smiled to himself knowing how much he wants to see Tetsutetsu face when returning his umbrella while you wear his sweater.
Hopefully you don’t notice that it’s only your side that’s cold and not the left side of the path. Couldn’t have you not wear his sweater after all that, plus he knew it would look great on you.

Imagine BoyfriendKatsuki pacing back and forth in front of the dorm corridors because you haven’t returned from training yet.
He always partnered up with you because at first he saw you as a worthy opponent then later on as training grew later and more frequent, he saw it as more of an excuse to be close to you.
“Hey Kats!” You waved at him grabbing his attention, he grumbled down the stairs complaining how late it is with his hands stuffed in his pockets but still had a small smile on his face.
“How was it?”
“It was great! I learned new defense moves thanks to Tokoyami of course, you know his dark shadow is pretty funny sometimes.”
BoyfriendKatsuki stands there and listens, watching how you gleam over new defense knowledge but all he can process is:
Tokoyami=Funny. She thinks he’s funny? Am I not funny? My jokes are fucking hysterical.
Wanting to stop his jealous thoughts, Katsuki flicked your forehead and turned around, before you can even protest what he just did, he stuck his hand out waiting for you to grab on.
BoyfriendKatsuki grumbled the rest of the way inside with you, you secretly loved his cute jealous display.

Imagine shyKatsuki. Of course only Kirishima would be the one to tease him about it around you.
Classmates and friends see him as this brute, explosive, loud, cocky bastard in class and out. But one look from you and he’s blushing???
The time he caught you sneezing a lot from your allergies so he left a box of tissues at your desk. Of course when you went to thank him, he couldn’t make any eye contact and literally just explodes away.
ShyKatsuki who watches you laugh with Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami from behind the corner wall so he could know what kind of jokes makes you laugh.
His eyes always just look for you in any room but can’t hold the eye contact to save his own life.
“Hey bakugou your cheeks are all red again.”
“Mind your business you damn nerd!”

From a Distance
The one good thing about tall buildings is that you can see everything from its peak. Wether it be the whole city, whole park, or the vast ocean space facing the east. Bakugou, or Pro-Hero Dynamite, took it to the skies to over see any suspicious behavior happening or any lurking criminals around. He was always on alert when patrolling at night, especially around your neighborhood.
He recognized you a few times, you were always in some sort of trouble. The first time was being robbed, some low life thug tried to steal your bag but even when Katsuki was on his way you instinctively pepper sprayed the offender leaving him impaired. Arriving on the scene, Katsuki was slightly impressed normally a damsel in distress would just scream and call for help. You thanked the Pro-Hero and police for arresting the guy and putting him away, Katsuki only shrugged it is his job after all.
The second time was accidental. He was just with his friend from high school another Pro-Hero, Red Riot strolling through a market not on duty. He took a glimpse at a nearby stall that was selling boba drinks and that’s when he saw it. He saw a pervert standing a little too close to you as you bent down to pick up a knocked down display, his phone underneath your pleaded skirt. Katsuki marched right over to tell off this prick but unfortunately for the pervert his phone wasn’t on silence. You heard the picture snap sound and immediately turned around and your first instinct was smacking the guy right there.
“How dare you! Get the hell away from me you pervert!”
Causing a scene was perfect it drew attention to the offender and made him embarrassed trying to walk away. However Katsuki stopped him, he pulled him back and nearly let out an explosion on his ass but because he was off duty, he just held him while he called his sidekick to take care of the situation. And while he waited, Katsuki made sure the creep deleted the photo off his phone and just for payback for any other women he might’ve done this too, he destroyed the creeps phone with just one blast. But when Katsuki looked around, you were already gone.
The third time he recognized you was purely unintentional. If you consider passing by your job while you worked but never going inside unintentional. He was in full hero gear of course he wasn’t going to go inside, he just made sure to patrol this certain department store more frequently. You just couldn’t escape his mind, what was it about you? You’re just a regular civilian so why were you on his mind? He let these thoughts ponder too long and only hearing an alarm sound go off is what made him snap back. He watched from a distance on top of a nearby store you chasing down a robber. He couldn’t believe why a women like you would personally chase down a 6’1 man down a busy street at night. He quickly took off and followed in pursuit, though above you he could tell you were fast but not faster than him.
Just when Katsuki got close enough and citizens were out the way he flew down and kicked the criminal in his back causing him to fall forward. The robber dropped the bag he had with him and Katsuki kicked it to the side. You caught up just in time to retrieve it but that’s when this 6’1 masked man quickly got up held a gun up to Katsuki. That’s when people started shouting and moving away to safety but you just really wanted to retrieve the bag with the items this guy tried to steal. The masked robber fired a warning shot into the air which made people scream but he was shaking. Katsuki could tell this was his first offense and wasn’t going to actually shoot anyone. From his peripheral vision, Katsuki could see you inch closer to the bag from the side and if he could see you so can the robber. In which he then pointed his gun at you and order you to stop moving but before you could process the words Katsuki was fast enough and exploded towards the perpetrator grabbing him by his arm and fully flipping him over his shoulder and onto the ground. The gun was dropped and the criminal was apprehended. Police showed up and secured the area making sure no one got in the way. While giving information to the police, Katsuki saw you being checked out by the ENT.
“Guys I said I’m fine.”
“It’s just our job miss, you were close to that warning shot your ears must hurt.”
“They don’t. Can I go now?” You clutched onto the back bag and started retreating but you stumbled into the Pro-Hero.
You two just stared at each other not sure why either of you aren’t looking away. The air suddenly was hard to breathe and you could feel your pulse quicken. Was this the aftermath of being close to shot range?
“You know it’s pretty stupid of you to run after a bad guy. Next time just call the police.” Dynamite said to you.
“Wha–Hey I’m pretty damn fast. I almost caught up to him.” You defended.
“Key word, almost. Luckily I stopped him. Why was that bag so worth it anyway?”
Without another word you opened the black bag and revealed what the criminal was trying to steal.
“This wasn’t the stores money. It was ours. He made the employees empty their pockets and wallets. I work mostly with moms who pack double shifts just to keep food on the table. It wasn’t right to just let him get away.”
A moment of silence was shared between the two of you. That’s what it was though, a moment. Katsuki walked away without saying anything else and you walked backed to your store returning the money to its owners. They all thanked you and patted you on the back for such bravery. You smiled warmly at them and played it off as no big deal.
Everyday went on as normally as they could, work was normal the gym was normal, shopping was normal. Everything seemed too normal. You always had a lingering feeling that something or rather someone was watching you but you knew if anything were to happen you always had pepper spray.
And so Katsuki watched. He watched you tuck your hands in your jacket and take a deep breathe of the winter air in. You looked both ways before crossing the street and continued to walk down towards the train station. He doesn’t mind the extra patrolling it’s how he could see you without any excuse. He doesn’t mind watching you from a distance.
