HERE COMES TROUBLE!

Sorry for the delay everyone! November has been a very busy and crazy month for me!!

Here’s Yukimura and his troublemaker!

Remember when he invited MC (you, me or us) to the nearby town for a festival after dropping off the child that got lost looking for his daddy?

(This happened in chapter 5 of the main route if you need a refresher!)

Well, it seems this kiddie is just as much trouble!

I felt like Yukimura would have difficulty letting his kid roam so he’d have to tuck him away or else he’d disappear from too much excitement lol.

So when I did the colouring I had no idea his skin tone would turn out this light/pale against this background LOl 😅😅😅

Also when I was finished I realized that their hair colour looks exactly like Shippo’s from Inuyasha! 😱😱😱

LOL is it just me?

2. The High Priestess

               She was starting to get used to it, she thought, living in tandem with the chaos of the time. It hadn’t been an easy adjustment, though she didn’t anyone would have an easy time of it. Except, possibly, Sasuke. She had a feeling he was an exception to many things.

               The man behind the chaos, Nobunaga, had made it both more difficult and easier. It was a contradiction, she knew. He was a contradiction. Nothing he had done made any sense what-so-ever.

               He seemed to act randomly, forcing people to submit to him and killing them when they didn’t. She saw people punished for the slightest of things, watched them bleed over matters that could have just as easily have been solved by talking. And yet, and yet, people still seemed to open their homes and businesses to welcome him. Out of fear? That made sense.

               It used to make sense.

               Nobunaga was an excellent judge of character, she had learned. What seemed to be random acts of violence revealed themselves to be calculated disposal of people wouldn’t stop fighting if allowed to live. Perceived slights turned into assassination attempts. And what she had seen as discontentment for their current lord? Uprisings in progress, people trying to cover their own crimes against the people they ruled, or people who were unhappy with losing the power they had.

               It wasn’t right but he wasn’t wrong. The world was made of a thousand shades of gray, she understood that now.

Ikemen Sengoku - Exposed!

Yukimura - taking some linens to his room you think he’s gone and open the door to him stripping off the last piece of clothing. He looks at you, your eyes accidentally go straight to that place and he immediately turns the color of a ripe tomato as his hands fly to cover himself. A shriek that sounds like a dying cat leaves his lips - of course that draws everyone else’s attention and you two are permanently mortified as you become the targets of teasing every night at dinner.

Nobunaga- honestly he’s probably lying out on the balcony enjoying the breeze, taking care of some “business” when you go to deliver something from Hideyoshi. His back is to you, and you catch a glance at two taught buttocks, but when he hears you enter - he rolls over fully exposed and your mouth drops open. He’s not shy - “Why don’t you join me?”

Mitsuhide- is pretty liberal with his bathroom tendencies, and as you’re strolling through the woods you accidentally walk up on him (a rare moment when you catch him exposed)- he turns around still… holding himself. “Oh, you caught me in quite a compromising position,” he chuckles. You reply trying to avoid looking at it (except you totally just got an eyeful for sure), “Can you please put that away!” He obliges and pats you on the cheek with that hand, “As you wish.” TF MiTsUhIdE!!!!

Masamune - his spirited self decided to go skinny dipping during the summer heat and you just happened to be passing through the river just up stream. You see him from a distance, gleaming and wet and your eyes are locked on him - he turns and you are completely and utterly busted when he motions for you to join him. You briskly start walking away avoiding eye contact when suddenly you realize there’s a naked Masamune chasing after you!

Mitsunari- I’m going to hell for this. You go to drop off a kimono you made for him, it’s the middle of the day and you can’t find him, so you open the door straight to his room (he’s probably studying, deep in thought so he hasn’t heard you) you walk in and hear him say your name and your initial response is to reply, “Mitsunari, I brought y-“ only to find him uhhhh, his eyes fly open and he throws a cover over himself. Sheer terror suddenly crosses both of your faces- Mitsunari does those things?!??

Kenshin- you go to the bath one night thinking everyone is in bed so you’ll finally have some peace and quiet. Upon entering you catch those heterochromatic eyes immediately finding you through the rising mist. His golden hair is dripping wet and water is rolling off his pects as he soaks himself. He looks at you in your robe and smirks, “Come to join me? I’m bored, I could use the company.”

Shingen - you’re so tired working late one night and you’re not quite familiar with your surroundings yet, you walk in the wrong room to find Shingen sprawled out… butt nekkid on his futon, softly snoring. After drinking in a good, looooong look you slowly and very carefully you start to turn to leave the room but you stub your toe on the door and a whimper pops out of your mouth- “Oh,” comes a sleepy voice through the night, “what angel has come to visit me in my dreams?”

Hideyoshi- at camp he’s getting ready and he leaves his quarters to go wash up before finishing dressing. You see him as you are helping cook breakfast as he strolls through camp in all his bare chested glory- he’s beautiful, mesmerizing- “Miss… Miss?” Mitsuhide snaps his fingers in front of your face, “Hungry for something besides rice?” Dammit Mitsuhide!

Sasuke - there’s sort of a casualness in your friendship just going to and from each other’s rooms. You burst through his door one day after getting some treats you wanted to share with him. He’s in the middle of changing and a look of horror crosses your faces. You leave, but abruptly run into Yuki who asks “Did you see Sasuke?” your reply is a stuttered, “W-what!?! See Sasuke?!? His what? No, I didn’t see anything…” leaving Yuki staring at you most confused.

Ieyasu- he’s grumpy, groggy, and slow when he gets up in the mornings. As you knock on his room door - he thinks it’s a servant and is in pure shock when he slides the door open to see you. He slams it shut in your face and yells “Hey! Announcing yourself would be good!” But it’s too late- you already caught a good look at those perfectly round and pointy nipples. You can’t help yourself- “Are you cold Ieyasu!?!”

Kennyo - as you take a day to search for Sansai you wander a little far into the forest. You’re thirsty and finding a mountain stream to quench your thirst becomes priority. Making your way up the mountain you find a lone man you soon recognize washing up in the brisk stream water. Kennyo’s collar slips lower and lower, revealing the nape of his neck as he splashes himself. Suddenly, you are thirsty for something else.

Mitsunari’s strategic advantage was the changelings could only attack him from two sides at once.

The castle should have been protected. The archives should have been safe. Neither Kyrion nor Sheverash alerted him to intruders. He narrowed his eyes at the four forms in front of him.

A flash of steel from the left, a subtle shift of stance and the sound steel on steel rang through the archives.

“Is this to be our entire exchange?” Mitsunari asked subtly shifting to keep them all where he could see them.

“You could save us the trouble and die, archivist. That is your fate.”

Mitsunari smiled at his attacker. “That remains to be seen, doesn’t it?”

Mitsunari watched. He studied. The most insignificant thing was information he could use. The leader shifted on the ball of his foot before he moved. Another attacker spun his blades in the opposite direction of his attack. Each opponent’s tell became part of his strategy.

Then shadows in the room lengthened and twisted. Mitsunari narrowed his eyes. None of the assassins appeared to be magic users. They stopped their advance.

The shadows coalesced and reached towards Mitsunari like fingers. Behind him, a purple luminescence outlined the form of a panther with six legs and two tentacles springing from its shoulders. The hell beast stood six foot tall at the shoulder and by all rights should not fit in the space behind the archivist. Its eyes blazed with a purple luminescence. Whatever dripped from the beast’s maw sizzled when it hit the floor.

Mitsunari waited. Each attacker fell into a defensive stance and one by one they disappeared.

“Your beast won’t protect you next time, bookworm.” The leader faded out of sight.

Mitsunari blinked and resheathed his weapon. He looked around, searching for his “beast”. He didn’t have a beast. He never underwent the soul creature ritual.

The faint cry of a kitten came from the bookshelves.

“Mochi!” Mitsunari retrieved the hellcat kitten and cuddled it close to his chest. “There was no reason to be afraid. I would’ve protected you.”

The kitten purred and nuzzled closer.
