The next few months pass by and its a week before Sarutobi leaves back home, Jerico decides to take everyone camping on the country side of town a few miles out of the city, they arrive within two hours of drive time

Chapter 19

Sarutobi and Akamari clean up after having breakfast, Mariana is next to the couch making sure Omari is still alive

Chapter 18

The next few days Sarutobi teaches Mariana to cook, its the day of the gathering and Sarutobi is at Mariana's house overseeing her cooking skills

Sarutobi(tasting her dishes): wow...im impressed...you did very well Mariana...so how are the desserts coming along?

Mariana: i have a cake in the oven and one already finished...do you want to help me decorate it?

Sabrina: some parents just want to protect thier kids from ever finding out the truth....but its best to come clean and not hide a lie that serious

They finish decorating the second cake....he helps her set up the table and sets up the appatizers and desserts along with the tea and cookies...her mother's guests arrive and are amazed at how beautiful the decorated table along with the food looks

They look in Mariana's and Sarutobi's direction....they wave and exuse themselves.

Mariana: yeah....but i dont see him anymore...he left us when my mom got the guts to tell him to go to hell....I kind of get it though she felt like she was a stranger to her husband.....while Souske made her feel whole

Sarutobi(shocked): wait...Akamari's dad had an affair.....with your mom?

Mariana(feeling guilty): oh shit....please dont say anything to her....I thought you knew....dont mention the affair to Akamari....please Sarutobi dont say a word to this....I'm no gossip girl....but keep it between me and you!

Sarutobi: ok I get it....but one question....is Samari the product of that affair....because Akamari's sister looks just like her

Mariana: yes she is....but Samari doesn't know because Souske never told her....when my mom found out she was terrified of what my dad would do....when my dad found out he told her to give that child to her father and to act like it never happened....she objected until my father said he will get rid of her and make sure my mother never saw Samari again....so she had no choice but to tell Souske to get lost and that he'll be able to keep his daughter but that this was the last time they would see eachother....Souske was devastated....and so was my mother....they really loved eachother....but at the time my dad owned everything of my mothers.....and she had no one to help her....so she stopped seeing Souske and got enough evidence on my dad to finally divorce him and keep the gallery that was originally my grandparents

Sarutobi: wow....what a rollercoaster...is that why Akamari was put in her grandparents care for two years?

Mariana: yeah...Souske needed to get it together....and Akamari was showing signs of resentment toward her sister and father...so he thought it would be best for her to be close to the Uzumakis and Uchihas so Akamari wouldnt feel left out....I still remember when she came back two years ago....she looked happier and more calmer than before....she even told me she liked this purple eyed boy with purple hair and that this boy was important to her because it reminded her how she was....and made sure he was feeling loved and accepted by those around him....that she thought it was admirable that he actually loved her eventhough they couldn't be together......

Sarutobi(hugging her): thank you Mariana....you just comfirmed what i wanted to hear from her...thank you (asking) do you think i can get a ride home now?

Mariana: sure Sarutobi....lets go back before i get in trouble for delaying too long with my moms car

Sarutobi: you didnt ask did you?

Mariana: No I did not

Mariana takes Sarutobi home, he heads inside the house where Izuke was waiting for him

Izuke(noticing): someone is in a good mood...had fun wherever you were I presume

Sarutobi(smiling): yeah i did....does Akamari come home tommorrow?

Izuke: yes why do you ask?

Sarutobi (smiling): theres a present I've been meaning to give her since her birthday and i know she's gonna love it

Izuke: ok then...wash up im cooking dinner tonight....oh I amlost forgot Omari my younger brother is...

By the time he looked up Sarutobi was already in his room, the next day Sarutobi was awake and downstairs, but to his surprise Akamari was not alone but with a man taller than Sarutobi with red hair and green eyes patiently waiting for his breakfast

Omari: you done yet kitten wiskers...i cant wait to try that omlet you prepared for me

Akamari(cooking): almost (grabs a plate and hands it to Omari) here omlet and baccon strips just how you like it

Chapter 17

They go the next day sightseeing, Sarutobi buys several souvniers for his family in the city and they take a detour to the beach, they take a walk as the sea wets thier feet

Sarutobi(looking at the horizon): its beautiful...the sea....the sunset must be amazing once the sun goes down

Akamari(next to him): it is...when I was a kid my dad would bring me and my sister here to build sandcastles and watch the sunset before we headed home

Sarutobi(smiling): you must of had a good childhood...and had alot of friends

Akamari: I wouldnt say that....here i wasnt as popular and i only had two friends Briuno and Samara my assistant...i was very quiet as a child and not good at making new friends...and was also an outcast...until i met my cousins and you....my personality started to come out and I got confident since then

Sarutobi: bullshit...theres no way...

Akamari: fine dont believe me...but its true...i still struggle with it sometimes

Sarutobi(scoffing): sorry its hard to imagine you like that

Akamari(sad): I dont expect you to...just wanted to share something I've never told anyone

Sarutobi(realizing): people misjudge me...and it angers me...because they think I'll lose my temper like my father...which I hate because they act nice instead of telling me how it is...or correcting me because I look like a terrifying beast. When I'm not around they talk about me saying how terrifying I look and to just be cautious of me to not anger me. Which is totaly false....I can take critisim very well because of my mother...when she gets angry she tells me how it is and doesn't sugarcoat shit...she always says it better that way to clear the air...one of the reasons my dad loved her...because they were open about things and never acted like the other shoud figure it out...if she didnt like something she told him and wasn't afraid to hurt his feelings...and he did the same letting her know about his dislikes

Akamari(amazed): wow...and I thought your mom was together with Kama-kun because she understood him and knew how to calm his anger

Sarutobi(jealous): why do you call my dad kama-kun....even when we were kids you would call him that?

Akanari: because....my mom called him that...she gave him the nickname

Sarutobi: as a form of affection....towards my dad....I wonder did my dad really loved her...more than my mother....to be honest it angers me that Kawaki loved someone more than my mom

Akamari(stopping): to be honest...you are lucky Terrubi....you have a family you can come home to...but I dont have that...I mean I love Souske and Samari very much but I feel like a stranger when I'm around them....

Sarutobi hugs her, he stays hugging her for a few minutes

Sarutobi(looking at Akamari): dont say that....ever again....you do have people who love you...I know it was a shocker to both of us to find out the truth...and its not easy for you to wrap your head around the thought...

Akamari(asking): if we forget that we are not related for a moment....no...for a whole seven days....how would you spend those seven days with me...if we forget just for seven days....and you are just Sarutobi Madra and im just Akamari Uzumaki Uchiha....two strangers that just met...what would you do with me for a whole seven days?

Sarutobi(shocked): I.....I don't have.....an answer for that....

Akamari(disappointed): forget I said anything...(walking back to the car) are you coming...?

Sarutobi(goes behind her to hug her from behind): just give me time...to answer properly.....you caught me off guard whiskers...I promise to answer you when i have the answer...I'll give you the answer you are looking for

Akamari: ok....just dont take too long to answer....I'll be holding you accountable for a response....by the end of this trip....ok

They head to the car, they drive off, they come home and shower, Akamari is the first one out and heads to the living room to watch the movie...moments later Sarutobi joins her at the couch to watch the movie with her

Sarutobi: so what's the agenda for tomorrow...?

Akamari: I'll be busy the next few days...at Jerico's training....I'll be staying there till next Monday...are you going to be ok?

Sarutobi(upset): I'll be alone for five days...?

Akamari: no...Izuke said he'll keep you comany while I train...he'll stay here with you while I'm away....is that ok?

Sarutobi(disappointed): yeah i guess...( gets up and looks at Akamari) I'm kind of tired I'm calling it a night...see you when you get back

He heads upstairs to go to bed, in the early hours of dawn Sarutobi goes for a run...he returns as the sun is rising. He goes to check if Akamari is in her room. To his surprise she's already gone, he goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Suddenly he hears a knock at the door....as he opens its Mariana...Akamari's neighbor

Mariana: hi...Sarutobi right...i just wanted to return the container she let me borrow...

Sarutobi: have you had breakfast yet?

Mariana: no why?

Sarutobi(offering): would you like to have breakfast with me?

Mariana: is it ok for me to be here....i don't want to intrude....

Sarutobi: no its no problem...besides Akamari went to train for a few days...she wont be back today...and i would like to get to know Akamari's neighbors

Mariana: ok i guess so

She enters and follows Sarutobi to the kitchen

Mariana(surprized): you made this...it looks delicious..and presentable

Sarutobi: my mom taught me how to cook...and when i had free time I'd get in the kitchen to practice when she wasn't home...and remember what ingredients she used on different dishes

Mariana(motivated): I know this is going to sound wierd....but here goes (looking at him egerly) do you think I can get cooking lessons from you Sarutobi?

Sarutobi(shocked): wait...you cant cook...

Mariana: honestly the last time i tried....my mom was angry and told me off horribly saying I'm a dimwit and should stick to studying

Sarutobi: I thought all moms taught thier daughters how to cook at the age of nine...

Mariana: well my mom wasn't that type of woman....and shes having a gathering and i want to prove her wrong that im more capable of being more than a usless bookworm

Sarutobi: then im in...but first lets start off with the basics(goes to the room and grabs his notebook) here learn this...its my notes they are colored corrdinated from ingredientes, seasonig, table mesures and heat temperature on different meats and meals...if its too difficult (hands her flash cards) these are examples of foods I made highlighted are the different subjects we talked about...to make it easier to understand

Mariana: thank you....well lets eat

Chapter 16

Akamari is pacing at the docks waiting for the boat to arrive, she gets frustrated as it get late into the evening

Akamari: where's the boat....wait what if he missed it....or the boat went missing....

Izuke: relax will you....its just an hour late....it will be here

Akamari: but there was a storm yesterday....what if they are stranded...

Izuke: it's a large cruise ship....it would take more than a mere storm to take it down

Akamari: but I tried calling him...he won't pick up...

Izuke: remember there's no signal when the ship is passing thru the Mirena cove islands...which means it won't be long for the ship to get here

Ajamari: I'm getting worried....Sarutobi should of been here by now...

Suddenly the crowd screams as they see the large ship in the distance. It takes awhile for it to reach the dock. As it docks people start to leave the ship

Akamari: I don't see him....where is he?

Suddenly she sees a tall broad shouldered man walking up to her

Sarutobi(to Akamari): hi wiskers it's been awhile...you look good

Akamari(shocked): Sarutobi...what the hell...

Sarutobi: sorry I forgot to tell you...I grew a little...

Akamari: is this Sarutobi....or Kama-kun..

Sarutobi(annoyed): wow...you haven't changed much either miss five feet three inches

Akamari(smacking him): I grew an inch the last time I seen you I'm five four kiddo

As they reach the car Sarutobi stops and stares at the vehicle

Sarutobi: what is that...I've never seen it before?

Akamari: sorry I forgot you guys never heard of moving vehicles in the leaf village only construction vehicles....this is a car it's like a train but more smaller it can take you anywhere around the city (Opening the passenger door) here get in we are going to my place

Sarutobi: it looks claustrophobic...like it's uncomfortable

Akamari: if you feel like that you can always put the windows down?

Sarutobi(getting in the car): ok...that would work for me

She gets in the driver side and takes off, they arrive in fifteen minutes to the apartment on the upside of town

Akamari(getting off the car): here I'll open it...just stay there

She gets off and opens the door Sarutobi gets out and she grabs his things from the back seat

Akamari: come on we are heading inside

Sarutobi(following her): ok so...this is your place then?

Akamari(inside the house): yeah...it is...I just bought it a year ago

Sarutobi(inside the house): I thought when you said you lived in the city...I imagined you in those big buildings in a suite

Akamari: no....I mean when I was little yeah my dad got promoted and we lived in a suite for a year before he realized that the city life didn't suit him...so he bought a house here in the outskirts of the city...until just over a year ago he sold it...and I decided to buy it off him

Sarutobi: so that's what you meant by old place....you lived here as a kid?

Akamari: yeah I did (showing Sarutobi around) so there's the kitchen, where you are standing is the living room, upstairs is the guestroom you will be staying in, and down the hall below your bedroom is my room

Sarutobi: Akamari how many rooms is there?

Akamari: four bedrooms and three bathrooms...but you don't have to worry yours has its own bathroom in it...so you have more privacy...besides it use to be my old room...but I put new furniture in it to make it feel like home for you...and I am staying in my dad's old room so don't worry...I made sure to refurbish the whole house before you got here

Sarutobi: out with the old and in with the new...that's how it's said

Akamari(smiling): yeah you took the phrase right from under me

Sarutobi: I'm gonna wash up...

Akamari: yeah me too...

They both take a shower...Akamari gets out of the shower and goes to Sarutobi's room to let him know the pizza is here

Akamari(coming in): Sarutobi the pizz....

She sees Sarutobi barely come out of the shower with a towel on his waist while drying his hair with the other

Sarutobi(embarrassed): A-a-akamari....why d-d-didnt you k-k-knock

Akamari(embarrassed): Sarutobi...I'm sorry...I'm soo sorry (slamming the door) I'll be more conscious next time

Sarutobi(opening the door and dragging her inside while slamming the door): why...why did you do that...you need to be more aware of me

She opens the door and closes it behind her, Sarutobi sits there angry at himself

Akamari is in the kitchen contemplating what just occurred in the guest bedroom

Suddenly she hears the door open and hears footsteps coming downstairs, she grabs a pizza and places it on the center table in the living room

Akamari(nervous): yeah...I've been wanting to watch Zombie slayer three...they say it's epic...I haven't been able to have free time since I started training with Jerico four years ago

Sarutobi(putting in the CD): so how's training going...under Jerico?

Akamari: tough even as he teaches me and I learn...he says I'm a better learner than Izuke

Sarutobi: wait...Izuke was his student?

Akamari: from what I heard he was about ten when Jerico found him scavenging for food...he was doing a search and rescue and happened to find him trying to fend for himself from rabbid dogs that were wanting to attack him. He scared the dogs and had him living with him and his wife. Until he was old enough to care for himself

Sarutobi(looking at Akamari): what a kind man

Akamari(looking at Sarutobi): yeah he is (touching his face) your purple eyes look a little lighter from the last time I've seen you

Sarutobi(coming closer to Akamari): yours are still gray...and beautiful as ever...

Akamari closes the distance by kissing him he responds by kissing her back...they stay there a moment kissing until there's a knock at the door

Sarutobi(pulling away): you should answer that...I'll wait for you here

Akamari(embarrassed): ok I'll go check who it is...(handing him a pizza) here have a bite of pizza

Akamari opens the door and to her surprise it's her neighbor Mariana

Mariana: hi I don't mean to pry but can I have some sugar?

Akamari(letting Mariana inside): sure just wait in the living room...I'll be right back

Mariana follows Akamari to the living room, she notices Sarutobi

Sarutobi(waving): hi

Mariana(getting nervous): hi....I'm Mariana...Akamari's neighbor

Akamari(coming in the living room with sugar): here Mariana is that enough

She leaves and Sarutobi walks to Akamari noticing her distress he asks what's wrong

Akamari: she must of saw you come out of my parking garage....and had her daughter see who you were...because she runs the neighborhood watch crew...and thought you were a date I was bringing home....seriously that woman has no end of her poking her nose in everything

Sarutobi: but her daughter seems nice...she looks ok to talk to

Akamari: oh Mariana is...she is an art major at her first year of college...she's very reserved and unlike her mother she doesn't poke her nose in anybody business

Sarutobi(caressing her cheeck): you shouldn't get flustered wiskers...or you'll wrinkle those cute wiskers of yours that I can't seem to look away from

Sarutobi kisses her forehead and she scoffs giving him attitude

Sarutobi(laughing): your cute when you act annoyed with me...anyway I think we should call it a night don't you think...I'm kind of tired...and you have things to do tomorrow

Akamari: but we haven't even watched the first five minutes of it...

Sarutobi(turning off the TV): it's ok we have four months to watch it...and besides I want to go sight seeing in the city if you have time this week

Akamari: sure that would be nice...just let me know when ok

Chapter 15

The family is halfway through the movie, suddenly Kawaki notices Akamari has not joined them since the movie started

Kawaki(to Sumire): honey I'm gonna go find Akamari and Saphire....I'm worried they are lost

Sumire(giving him a kiss): ok dear...don't stall too long

Kawaki: I'll be back soon ok

He searches for Akamari and the baby, he finds them on the dock, as he gets closer he stop in his tracks. He realizes Akamari is using her gift to read Saphire a story

Akamari(explaining): So the fairy King falls in love with the human woman...but the evil pirate finds out....he transforms into a human saving her from her grim fate....

Saphire(trying to talk): wab puret

Akamari: yeah bad pirate...anyway back to the story....so the fairy King is so in love with her...they marry....but as they try to live happily ever after...the evil pirate wages war with the fairies....but as the war wages on....the king has a son...a prince....he is the pride and joy of the fairy kingdom...and the new heir....but tragedy strikes.....

Saphire: uh ohhh....no no...bad

Akamari: yeah bad....the king dies in battle....while leaving his wife the new queen in charge of winning this horrible war....she perishes as well...

Saphire: bad...baby?

Akamari: the prince is taken to this world to be looked after by the wife's family....it is said till this day the fairies hide in thier kingdom while the pirates still look for their hideout...its also said the evil pirate grieves for the human woman that he loved.....and seeks revenge by wanting to destroy the fairy kingdom...the fairies believed the boy died of old age...and are waiting his reincarnation as a fairy prince...so they hide until thier warrior returns...to win the war the pirate started...and to have peace once again in thier land

Saphire: again, again....purat sury.....

Akamari(getting up): I think it's time we go back to your mother (turns around to see kawaki standing there) oh hey Kama-kun

Kawaki(smiling): I've never seen her excited to repeat a story....what's the story called

Akamari: it's made up...I have a knack of being a good story teller...it makes the storyline interesting...I use to project this story to the twins when they were little...they would always want a repeat after I told it several times

Kawaki: you know you would be a great parent

Akamari: I just have a thing for children...they are like mini sponges...they are interested in anything

Kawaki(stretching his arms to Saphire): come on princess....your mom is waiting

Saphire(stretching her small hands): dada...me go mum...

Akamari(handing over Saphire): she's special...your daughter...she is a interesting little bundle of joy

He points to where the whole gang is two yards from her running to see her off

Sarutobi(screaming): Akamari...wait....don't go...not yet

Akamari(drops her luggage to run to Sarutobi): Sarutobi....you came (embraces him) I thought you would miss me leaving

Sarutobi(crying as he looks at her): don't go Akamari...don't leave...you have a home here...you don't have to go...

Akamari(guilty): I'm sorry Sarutobi...I've made my choice...I promise to write to you often ok...

Sarutobi(hugging her): but your the only good memory I have....your my best friend...how do I move on from this...

Akamari(looking at him): promise me...that you will make more friends besides Itachi and Minato....and that you will be a good person

Sarutobi: ok I'll try

She walks over to her grandparents

Sauske & Sakura(hugging Akamari): well miss you so much

Akamari: me too

Naruto & Hinata(embracing Akamari): take care sweetheart...we will always love you

Akamari(pulling away): me forget you....never.....take care of Sarutobi for me?

The twins: yeah we will....he's grown on us...so don't worry we won't leave him alone

They let go of eachother.....she notices Kawaki with his hands in his pockets not willing to look at her while Sumire waves goodbye

It's the fourth month of spring April has already ended and the first of May has arrived, fifteen year old Sarutobi is at Borutos with the twins watching a movie

He goes to his room and shuts the door he grabs his phone and video calls her, she answers its five eastern time in the city

Akamari: hey Terrubi....long time no see...you look good...any girlfriends yet?

Sarutobi(chuckling): you wish...but I do have girls asking me out often....but I decline due to not wanting complications

Akamari(laughing): wow your funny....you need to stop with the jokes...hey did you get my letter there's something special inside

Sarutobi(opening the envelope): what is it a love confession (two tickets fall out) what's this....no way (excited) really for real?

Akamari: surprise it's boat tickets one for departure and for arrival check the dates!

Sarutobi(realizing): but why does the arrival say September fourth?

Akamari: your spending the next four months with me at the main land....check the departure date you are leaving next week...on a Monday....so see you next Monday!

Sakura(frantically hugging Akamari): thank goodness you are ok (meeting her eyes) where were you hamchop....I was worried sick...

Sauske(to Akamari): you know you scared your grandmother half to death with you disappearing like that.....

Boruto: and why did you dissappear like for four days....

Akamari: I'm sorry everyone if I worried you....

Naruto(placing a hand on Akamari): I think those two need your explanation (pointing to Kawaki and Souske) I think it's time you three need to talk things through...the atmosphere between you three is scary...and you deserve closure

Akamari hands over sleeping Saphire to Sumire,she then stands up picking up a soccerball

Akamari: Sarutobi let's play soccer (to Kawaki) your invited to join us too.....Kama-kun

Chapter 13

Phara(at the Uzumaki Household): we succeded In running away a month prior of me giving birth.....we arrived at the leaf village which was then named in my time village of the shinobi.....we eventually got married and I gave birth to Rozu's son Fugaku Uchiha....I lived fifteen years with him until people started to notice how I never aged.....don't get me wrong I loved Rozu and my son dearly.....but I was being suspected as the runaway birther....back then birthers were a curse if found around certain villages....and most times hanged as witches because they were demons out of hell with striking beauty....

Naruto: so what did you do....so your son wouldn't remember you..

Phara(crying): I broke my promise to my husband and erased both thier memories of me....and left never to be able to see them again....but I as time passed I came back to the leaf village when Minato and Fugaku were already adults....I watched them from a distance and then left at different times..... then I would go out of my way back to the temple....and stay there....until I found out Jigen was looking for the last birther and that's where my hell began

She shakes as she holds the cup in her hands, Hinata sits next to her trying to comfort Phara

Phara(nervously talking as she cries): Kawaki.......kawaki was.....was born because Jigen kidnapped me as an experiment to obtain a strong vessel.....(crying) so Jigen asked Amado to Use Jigen's DNA to make sure I succeded in getting pregnant....which he succeded three times but all subjects died....Kawaki was the fourth vessel Subject....but I had to decide either let him die or live....so I decided life...even if it costs my life

Sauske: he held you captive....so he can continue to procreate vessels I assume....

Phara: yes because if he couldn't get a vessel....he was going to die....but I had to think of a way to escape so Kawaki can live a normal life...away from his grim fate....and it was the night before he was born....Jigen was out and it was just Amado and Koji....they knew that Kawaki would die if left in the hands of his procreation...so they helped me escape....after that he was born

Phara goes back to the night Kawaki was born, she was in a rural town up in the mountains where there were no medics just midwives, she was in the process of giving birth

Phara(sreaming): ahhhhh......it hurts.....please get him out!

Midwife: relax I have to feel a contraction....ok push...

Phara(screaming):ahhhhh!!........please.......I'm in pain.....

Midwife: the head is out just a little more....!!

Phara(screaming): ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........!!!!

Suddenly Phara hears cries of her little boy, she cries as the midwife hands her Kawaki

Midwife(places the baby in her arms): he's a healthy one....this lad of yours....

Phara(crying as she touches his face): he looks just like me.....look at his eyes they are just like mine....

Midwife: that just means he will have a heart like yours....pure and good....take good care of him....by the way what will you name him?

Phara: Kawaki.....his name will be Kawaki....

Midwife: what an odd name...

Phara(carresing his cheek): it was my father's name...he was a strong heart and endured hardships....he never gave up no matter how bad his life got...he faced it all without showing emotion....until he met my mother...who filled his empty heart with emotions

Midwife: does kawaki mean....

Phara: yeah it means dry....but I hope he can fill that dry heart with love....even if it does get hard he'll learn to love at least himself or someone special

Phara: you don't know how guilty I've felt leaving you in the hands of a stranger....let alone knowing your own father took you just so he can live again.....the most selfish thing a parent can do is sacrifice thier offspring instead of themselves knowing they are human too....so I took the initiative to make sure you lived....even if you were your fathers son...but I did what I had to as a birther

Kawaki(crying): still....your my mother you should of been there....

Phara(holding his face): listen to me sweetheart....you might of had a very dark beginning but look inside your heart....can you recall how many times you felt loved or cared for by others

Kawaki remembers his childhood and all the times Boruto, Himawari, and thier parents were always there for him unconditionally, and also remembers his own family's hardships and the love his two wives showed for him

Kawaki(crying): I guess I......didn't turn out too bad.....I can say I do have love (looking at Naruto) and I also had the love of the seventh hokage's daughter....who I still miss to this day

Naruto(smiling): well said.......son in law

Phara(smiling): see as long as you have love...you can overlook the bad and start over...it's never too late

Kawaki(crying): but I was a broken boy inside yearning for my mother....all I wanted was you mother....

Phara(crying): I'm sorry.....I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you.....I'm sorry that you were alone and scared....

Kawaki(upset): then be there from now on....I just want you in my life....I don't care if your purpose was to give birth to leave me....just be here now....

Phara(hugging him): that's all I ever wanted to hear....for one of my children to want me in thier lives

Akamari: wow that fas.....

Jerico: if your thinking I slept with her that same night.....I did not...I gave her space and she left the next morning leaving a thank you note...from there she asked me out for coffee I agreed....from then on we learned we were more alike than I thought

Phara: alright....a week....but if nothing changes...I'm going home

The elders leave and she is stuck with Rozu....the roughest of the group....but Phara wasn't that innocent girl anymore...after what happened she became cold as well and tougher than most birthers

Phara(walking to her room): I'm going to bed...see you...

Rozu(grabs her hand): why would you even want to....I'm liberating you from your duties as a birther...you don't have to be here

Phara: even if i was sent away....another of my sisters would be brought here....and I wouldn't live with myself if you treated them wrong....so id rather stay and play it out to see where this goes

She goes to the fruit stand and picks out mango, strawberries, and kiwi she pays for them and walks around town before heading home, once she gets there she cuts up the fruit and places it neatly on the plate and writes 'thank you' on the note Rozu already wrote on with a smiley face

Rozu(behind her as he enters the house): hope who likes it?

Sauske comforts Sakura as she breaks down in tears, there's a knock at the door and it's Boruto and his family

They hear a knock at the door Hinata opens it, it's the police force with the woman as they enter the house

Phara walks back into the living area and sits on the couch....the police force ask her basic questions....she answers them.....after ten minutes they leave

As Phara walks out Naruto gently grabs her hand stopping her

She sits down and Hinata gives Phara tea, she takes a breath and starts her story

Phara: we were what you called birthers....a stand in to give birth for the Otsutsuki future children....we did our duty as birthers...we even had our own assistants to help through the births....until Kayuga realized she can procreate herself...then she no longer needed us...we were discarded and forgotten....but the clans saw us as an opportunity to use us to procreate dying clans that were of use....like the Uchiha clan and the Namikaze clan....because as birthers we were immortal we can procreate a clan in ten years time

Naruto: So when did you realize you were a birther?

Phara: at the age of 32....I was put in the temple of birthers to practice thier ways of life ....it was a long time before I was finally chosen.....I was 72 at that time when Iroku Minatos father was my partner for a mating ceremony....but I didn't expect to fall in love with him....we as birthers are never suppose to get attached to our birthing partners....our sole duty is to make sure we complete the ceremony of new life....and move on to the next partner

Sauske: what happens to the child after it is born?

Phara: he or she becomes the sole responsibility of the father after spending three to four years with the birther.....the father comes to the temple retrieves his child and leaves....birthers are never to get attached to thier procreation....which is two rules I broke when meeting Iroku

Phara remembers the first time they met, she was in the garden singing as she was petting her lion Siru. Minno her assistant runs to her as she sits at the waterfountain

She leaves at dawn to make it just in time to the Namikaze clan....she covers her face as she steps off the carriage to a large building and steps inside. The elders are waiting for her as she enters inside

Iroku(coming in behind her): would you stop criticizing her....she must be nervous already given the task she must do

Akamari is upset crying in her room, Souske knocks at the door

Souske(opening the door): can I come in?

Suddenly her gift starts to show red instead of gold causing things to turn to ash

Souske: it was was around the time Samari was little...Akamari was seven and they were playing....Akamari got tired of playing but Samari pestered her....and that's when I noticed the gift turning red causing a knife to fly directly across the room almost Stabbing Samari....ever since then I've been so terrified of a tragedy happening that I isolated myself from her and kept her occupied at all times...making sure she had no room for anger...but my biggest mistake was separating Samari from Akamari by sending her abroad just so she was not hurt by her own sister

Sauske: well we better find her....if not there's a chance she's not in this realm....we are gonna need Boruto and her father....

Sakura: but she might attack him....like she did Souske...

Naruto: we must take that chance....its the only way to bring Akamari back here....ready Sauske

Akamari reappears but in a meadow, with a big tree in the middle, it's night as she looks around and sees tall grass with every wildflower in it. Fireflies in every direction lighting up the night like tiny stars

Akamari: where am I.....how did I get here...I really need to control my anger....(smacks her head) damn it why am I so temper mental....why the hell am I this way

She looks around and notices a cabin....she goes inside and sees its dusty....she cleans it

Akamari: this place must of been abandoned....for awhile....well its looks better now since I cleaned it (cracks her nuckles) well its time to start a fire....its getting cold

She starts chopping wood....and gets a fire going, she notices the book shelf with several books, and picks one out to read....within minutes she falls asleep

Back at the leaf village, the Uzumakis and Uchias including Kawaki and Sarutobi are trying to find Akamari

Sakura: maybe she's hiding somewhere we don't know about

Boruto(running to his parents): it's been three hours...we have to call it a night...and start again in the morning

Within the next few days Akamari is holed up in her room

Hinata(concerned): I'm worried Naruto...she has been up in her room since the tournament....I leave her food but she hardly eats

Chapter 7

They arrive at the paintball areana, Kakashi is there giving a speech

Kakashi: welcome to the ninth annual paintball extravaganza...where every summer we ask the neighboring nations come together to have a friendly battle of a paintball. We are delighted have this event due to the ninth hokage who started this tradition on a friendly game of tag. While developing into a yearly tournament of people tagging themselves out with paint by thier opponent. Now the rules....there will no use of any jutszu of any kind....the only weapon at your disposal is the paintball guns along with three cases of paintballs. If you come in contact with a paintball your out...if you cheat your team along with yourself you are disqualified....remember have fun this is only a game to commemorate the ninth hokage's tradition....have fun and get into your starting lines...we comence in three minutes

Kawaki: where the hell is our starting point

Akamari: since it's yours and Sarutobi's first time I'll show you

She walks them to the starting spot where the group flag is located

Kawaki: really we are into the far left...away from the groups

Boruto: it gives a cover when we enter the forest...so our opponents don't know where we are

Itachi: and its easier to stalk those who are inexperienced

Minato: why do you think they have it set up this way

Sarutobi(to Kawaki): ready to have fun dad?

The team hears the bell and they run off into the forest to take cover, team seven finds a large trunk to hide in

Kawaki(irritated): the hell with waiting...are we not suppose to pebble people with our guns

Boruto(amused): kawaki....its paintball...

Suddenly they hear three teammates out already....and hear 'fireball' chanting in the stands

Boruto(smiles): guess she got ahead of the game

Announcer: fireball is at it in the first minute of the game...taking out three teammates at once...what a show performer.....she must love her fans!

Kawaki(shocked): wow...that crazy chick is Akamari....is she really that fast?

Boruto: told you....she's not called fireball for nothing...she's the real deal you know

Kawaki(hearing a branch break): get down...I heard someone

All three of them are low on the ground...a green member steps out into view, Boruto takes the shot and he's out, they run from the trunk and head into the trees trying to see the birds eye view, suddenly the announcer comes on the speaker

Announcer: wow....what a match....Zerubi was cornered until one of his teammates shot four of the purple team....what a show it is I tell you

Boruto(realizing): we need to move Zerubi is either finding us or Akamari and the boys....but most likely Akamari

Once they are in ground view Boruto sees a white opponent, he shoots first and the kid from the white team is out

Boruto: got him....oh no..

Suddenly the white team ambushes him...but Sarutobi shoots them all before getting to Boruto

Announcer: what's this a new rookie has joined the scene....a Sarutobi I presume...just shot the rest of the white team....this tournament is getting good folks!

Kawaki(slaping him on the back): that was amazing son....

Boruto(shocked): where did you learn to aim....

Sarutobi: I practice on shooting games....at the arcade

Boruto: well....we are gonna need you....

Announcer: what is this.....two teams are already out....blue and red....and by the twins Itachi and Minato....what a show folks...its getting good

Boruto(to Kawaki): well that just leaves three of the green team, Zerubis which is the black team, team 12 which is gray, and us

Back at the stands the Uchias and Uzumakis are watching the show go down on the big screen

Sauske: So this is the so called extravaganza?

Naruto: come on Sauske...cheeer on for your granddaughter...she's the best when it comes to playing games

Hinata(pointing): look it's Akamari...she looks cornered...by the gray team!

Announcer: what's this....fireball is surrounded by all five of the gray team....what will she do...and how will she get out of it.....

The gray team starts to shoot she jumps in the air doing a halfway summersault and spins taking out all five teammates

Sakura and Naruto(sreaming): yeah that's our kid....go Akamari....whoooo!

Announcer: well her name goes with her game....fireball is at it again taking out all five teammates at once...you can hear the fanclub chant her name in the stands

Sauske(embarrassed): now I know where Akamari gets her competitive side....and I'm regretting it already

Hinata: at least it's in good fun...right Sauske

Sauske(gloomy): I guess...if it's for fun

Suddenly Kawaki and Boruto show up to sit in the stands along with them

Boruto(irritated): shooting them with paintballs mercilessly after we were out is not how you play the game....

Boruto(screaming): you injured one of thier players....because of you we are banned from playing....ever!

Sauske: wow...he really did that?

Boruto: yes....and Kakashi officially banned us from playing.....ever again

Naruto(smaking his forehead): when it comes to playing fair....Kawaki was not that fond of losing

Kawaki(arms crossed): never will be either....

Boruto(irritated): just when we were having fun...you ruin it for us....from now on stick to board games will you

Sarutobi sneaks up on the green team one by one and takes them all out

Announcer: what a good tactic by Sarutobi folks...he successfully singlehandedly took out the green team

Kawaki(smiling): at least he holds down the fort....

Naruto: not bad for a first timer...

Hinata: at least he's ok....

Boruto: show off...

Sauske: this game is pointless...if Akamari is playing it...

After an hour, only three stand Sarutobi, Akamari, and Zerubi

Hinata: look...Akamari and Zerubi are facing off....but where's Sarutobi...

The twins(after losing): look dad there!

Boruto(smacking his chest): Kawaki look....!

They see from the camera that Sarutobi is hiding above the tree, three feet from Akamari, he is waiting for her cue to fire

Announcer: this is the climax folks...we are at the edge of our seats, who will win....Zerubi or fireball...its a face off like never before

Zerubi(on the screen): give up you have no chance...

Akamari(on the screen): really now...you sure?

Zarubi..shoots at Akamari...making her lose

Zarubi(laughing): finally I won...I won...

Suddenly two paintballs strike Zarubi out from the trees

Zarubi(angry): that's impossible...who shot me!

Sarutobi(jumping from the trees): rule number one- don't underestimate your opponent

Announcer(shocked): this is impossible...for the first time...in three years...we have a new champion...(assistant handing the card to the announcer) this year champion is Sarutobi Madra

Kawaki(getting up and screaming): yeah...my boy did it...whooo....he did it!

The crowd starts clapping as they announce the new winner and they hand him his trophy as the reporters take pictures. The Uchias, Uzumakis and Kawaki go to the stage to congratulate him

Sakura(hugging Sarutobi): you did wonderful...good job dear

Sauske(patting him on the shoulder): that's was unexpected...but a least someone else besides Akamari won....

The twins: yeah you should see the fanclubs...they are devastated they both lost

Sarutobi(confused): fanclubs?....

Then he notices both groups crying over thier best champions

Kawaki(hugging Sarutobi): I'm glad you won...and...did you have a good time?

Sarutobi(hugging his dad): the best...and I'm glad to have spent it with you

Boruto: hey where's Akamari...our fireball..?

They see her talking to her fans, suddenly Koji approaches her...she gets excited as Koji hands her a letter. She reads it and is disappointed while giving him back the letter. Koji grabs her arm and she yanks free from him yelling at Koji. He stops her to explain, she pushes him and runs off crying kicking over a trash can

Sakura(angry): I'm gonna gonna beat him with a pole when he gets home....its the second time he does this to her....

Sauske(sighs): he's not coming is he dear....this is the second year without her father.....and her sister

Hinata: she just video chatted him the other day asking him to come to her birthday since she'll be leaving in November....he said he'll see

Naruto: she always puts on a brave face...guess this time it's different...she just couldn't take another disappointment

Kawaki: wait two years....

Naruto: yeah when Souske left her here she was twelve....she hasn't seen her dad or sister since then

Chapter 6

Kawaki looks at the video of the beach trip, seven year old Sarutobi is showing his dad some seashells

Sarutobi(excited): look daddy....a purple seashell

Kawaki: oh would you look at that...is as beautiful as your mother

Sarutobi(asking): daddy why did you marry mommy?

Kawaki(smiling): because I realized she was the only one not scared of me

Sumire(laughing off camera): you know that's not true dear...

Sumire(answering the question): because I loved your father, and he realized he loved me too, and even after our hardships we make it work by always loving eachother

Kawaki: really where (sees a baby seaturtle) look honey a turtle nest

They record the turtles comming out of the sand, Sarutobi squats several feet from them as Sumire records the seaturtles go into the water

Sarutobi(amazed): wow turtles.....daddy we witnessed turtles go into the ocean!

Kawaki(lifting up his son on his shoulders): yeah we did....let's go back inside and eat...mommy needs to eat for two

Kawaki takes away the camera and records a pregnant Sumire at eight months

Sumire(happy): are you excited...to be a dad again?

Kawaki(laughing): am I....I'm estactic....

The video pauses and continues again....and its around the time Sumire had a miscarriage...it records Sumire in the nursery. She picks up a stuffed toy and sits in the rocking chair holding the stuffed toy and rocking herself

Kawaki(coming in the nursery): Sweetheart there you are....(squatting down to see her at eye level) baby it's not healthy for you to be here.....

Sumire(crying): Why....why did my baby have to be taken from me Kawaki....

Kawaki: I don't know...but we will get through this....and try again...we will be back to normal

They arrive at the extravaganza and get thier number

Kawaki gets pushed aside by fans of the fireball

The group hides behind Akamari

The fangroup leaves to take thier seats,then a handsome boy with hazel eyes and black hair with a crowd of fangirls behind him walks up to Akamari

Zerubi(smiling): hi fireball....its been awhile since we last dueled....ready to lose....like last year

Akamari(glaring): it was a tie Zerubi...we were evenly matched...remember

Zerubi: well get ready to lose...hope you bought your endgame.... you need it more than me

Akamari: almost did....but we were tied...so no one got the trophie that year

Kawaki leaves and Sarutobi heads to his room and locks the door...he uncovers the sculpture that he is working on. It's Akamari kneeling down reading a book, while Sarutobi is laying down his head on her lap and strokes the tip of her dark blue hair.

Sarutobi(thinking): my dad can never see this....it will infuriate him, I must hide it until her birthday

He hides it under his bed...and cleans up his room throwing old used paper and organizing his art books, along with some comics and school workbooks he uses from time to time

Sarutobi(throwing out the trash): there all cleaned...time to go to bed....its late and I am needed tomorrow for some manual labor

The next morning Sarutobi is at Borutos house with the twins helping with backyard chores

Boruto: Itachi, Sarutobi help me with the pile of leaves will you?

Sarutobi & Itachi: yeah no problem

Itachi rakes as Sarutobi picks up the leaves and puts it in the compost bin, they finish and wait for lunch

Minato: so what happened after she ran after you Sarubi

Sarutobi(annoyed): nothing she just apologized...and she hugged me to make me feel better...that's all

Itachi: your not telling us everything Sarubi...we know when you lie

Sarutobi: I'm telling you guys the truth...she just apologized for laughing at me...

The twins: fine we won't pry but u must come to terms with your feelings

Sarutobi(sad): I know don't remind me

Itachi(putting an arm around Sarutobi): we are just concerned that's all.....you know my cousin is out of your league and she is three years older than you...to her your just a kid...she sees you as a little brother

Sarutobi(sad): I know....its just frustrating to know that and I can't move on from that

Minato(getting an idea): Hey Sarutobi...how about we go to a sleepover...there's a few female girls I know that you would get along with

Sarutobi: really....but my dad...he won't allow it

Itachi: give me your phone...(sarutobi giving him the phone) I have a knack for replicating my dad...Minato be lookout where is he?

Minato(trying to find him): he is inside with mom helping with the hokage stuff

Sarutobi(stopping Itachi): wait this isn't right...we could get in trouble...

Itachi(pulling away from him): you need to experience life...and live a little....and this is the opportunity to do that

Sarutobi: wait...but what about your parents....

Minato: they are always out...and besides we already told them and said yes...we wanted to include you so this is the only way

Sarutobi(smiling): thanks guys...you really are my friends

Itachi(dialing the contact number): it's ringing

Kawaki(on the other line): hello Sarutobi....

Itachi(imitating Boruto): Hi Kawaki it's Boruto...I thought I'd ask if it would be okay for Sarutobi to stay over at our house tonight...

Kawaki: no...I'm not comfortable with it Boruto.....you know how I feel about sleepovers...

Itachi(imitating Boruto): I know that...its just the boys would love for Sarutobi to stay the night...its just one night you know

Kawaki(sighs): ok...I'll have his mother send his things later today....

Itachi(imitating Boruto): thank you Kawaki...

Kawaki(irritated): whatever...you idiot

The line cuts off, and Itachi is irritated that Kawaki insulted his dad

Itachi(irritated): how the hell can dad call that friendship....he so grumpy and cold...its like like he lives angry...!

Minato(irritated): Itachi...Sarutobi heard that!

Sarutobi(upset): it's ok my dad is a difficult person to understand...

Itachi(asking): no offense but how does your mom handle him....?

Sarutobi: even if no one understands him...my mom sees past his rough exterior...they grew up in similar backgrounds...so she understands his outbursts and moodswings....she's the only one to calm him

Minato(sighs): and I thought my parents were complicated you know

Sarutobi(asking): Minato....are you sure girls will be there...

Minato(smirking): yeah....I'm very popular when it comes to making female friends

Itachi(admitting): or is it because you promised the girls Sarubi would be there

Minato(grabbing Itachi by the collar): why do always ruin the mood....!

Itachi(pushing his brother away): because if he gets caught...his dad won't let him off easy....think about it one fuck up and Sarutobi will no longer be able to hang out with us...his dad is Kawaki Madra for shit sakes...he is very strict when it comes to his son...a sleepover with girls will have him breaking doors and cause havoc

Minato(irritated): yeah I forgot he's scared of his son putting a bad name on the family....the reason why he is so strict with him (turning to Sarutobi) I promise I'll take the fall if shit goes sideways

Itachi(hitting him behind the head): do you always have to be so noble...even if you take the fall his dad won't care...he will say that it's still Sarubi's fault....nimrod

Sarutobi(sad): if it's ok with you guys I don't have to go...

Minato(convinced to go to the slumber party): no...you are going....tell me you have a plan itachi...please tell me you do...

Itachi(smiles): I do....but for it to work properly...you two must do exactly what I say...there can't be mistakes

Suddenly Sarada calls then for lunch, they head inside to eat a pot stew

Sumire is taking an afternoon stroll with her one year old daughter Saphire to Borutos house. Sumire knocks on the door and Sarada opens the door

Sarada(hugging Sumire): hi how are you?

Sumire: good and Sarutobi?

Sarada(calling Sumires son): Sarutobi your mom is here sweetie

Sarutobi(running downstairs): hi mom...(sweetly caressing his sisters cheek) hi Saphire...where is the cutest little sister I've ever seen...

Saphire laughs while Sumire smiles at her son's affection toward his sister, Sarutobi thanks his mother and grabs the luggage

Sumire(asking): sweeite...where's my kiss?

Sarutobi(embarrassed): mom...not in front of my friends

The twins(chuckling): yeah Sarutobi...where's mommy's kiss....

Sarada(glaring): you two stop it...or else (smiling while saying thier nicknames) Minno and Izzu

Sarutobi(thinking out loud): where have I heard that...(realizing) don't tell me you two watch that child's cartoon Spectacular

The twins(irritated): we were ten.... and mom why bring it up...that is a betrayal even we don't do to eachother....!

Sarada(laughing): well you shouldn't make fun of your friend...giving affection isn't wierd....its honest and pure

Sumire: there's nothing wrong with secrets right Sarada?

Sarada: right Sumire...are you heading home right now?

Sumire: yes my husband is waiting for me at home he says he has a surprise for me...well got to go bye

Sarada: bye Sumire...get home safe

Sumire: sure will

Sumire leaves and Sarutobi heads upstairs with the twins to go over thier plan. When the times comes to go to the girls slumber party they arrive at Kushina Grove where the Sabimaru Minatos female friend lives

Minato(knocking on the door): that's wierd nobody...

Suddenly the door opens and a maid answers the door

Maid: yes who are you?

Minato: we are here because we got invited to Sabimaru's birthday slumber party

Maid(realizing) oh yes come in....she's upstairs second door on your left

Minato(walking ahead): thank you

They arrive to the second door and as soon as they open it they are shocked of how sofisticated it looks along with how many people

Sarutobi(shocked): if this is a slumber party...we are out of tune for this

Minato: she always throws the biggest parties...I was invited because she wanted to get to know the cute purple hair eyed boy...

Itachi: and that's why you are a moron...thinking that bringing him would get you a girlfriend

Minato: your so irritating you know!

Sarutobi(trying to ease the tension): let's enjoy ourselves ok...we came to have a good time

The twins: yeah...let's have fun!
