On to greener pastures.

I've recently come to the realization that I've never gotten any meaningful sort of engagement out of Tumblr. This could be for any number of reasons, but I'm tired of trying to figure them out.

I'm not going to delete my account, I'm just not going to use it much from here on out. Maybe if one of my posts goes inexplicably viral I'll revive my blog, but I'm not about to sit here waiting for that to happen.

To my friends: I'm not turning off notifications for DMs, so feel free to message me whenever you like.

Here's a poem I wrote about the Last Unicorn that I posted to a different account on a different social media site. I think it's a fitting swan song:

What Is Gone

Far away past greener pastures, near the barren cliffs of Haggard,

I saw the castle's ruins, though they did seem quite bedraggled.

As the tide swirled round my toes, I thought I saw a glow of red,

Though, now I think perhaps it was a vision in my head.

A story had unfolded here, I knew that to be true,

A classic tale of love and loss, of magic, old and new.

But I think the strongest thing I felt, as I stared into the wet,

Was something old as man himself: the feeling of regret.

I hope the one who felt this found a way to make amends,

But there are no happy endings, because nothing ever ends.

so i'd already posted abt this but throughout the last part of may and most of june i was out of work because of a leg injury. when i started working again they cut my hours down to 1 shift a week, i've asked for more shifts and gotten stonewalled. im applying for other jobs but uhh. it's not going great

i thought i was going to be ok this month but a short term gig i was depending on fell through and now i'm $700 short on rent and i have another $130 in bills coming

i've basically exhausted all my options trying to get govt assistance and selling plasma and shit. ive gotten into debt that will take me years to climb out of. maybe it's kind of a lost cause to try fundraising this down to the wire but i dont rly know what else to do

tldr i'm in a really bad spot. my commissions are still open, donate if you want, boosts sincerely appreciated

I happen to have overdrawn my bank account by a small but substantial amount and i would berry much like to avoid the fees while i wait for my twitch payout

i am opening 1 SINGLE full body commission slot for $100 (im so sorry, I’d open way more but i have too much on my plate already; as well as an older commission that’s yet to be fulfilled)
