Yo I feel like the idea that the only historical women who counted are the ones who defied society and took on the traditionally male roles is… not actually that feminist. It IS important that women throughout history were warriors and strategists and politicians and businesswomen, but so many of us were “lowly” weavers and bakers and wives and mothers and I feel like dismissing THOSE roles dismisses so many of our mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers and the shit they did to support our civilization with so little thanks or recognition.
it's been two years and somehow i STILL can't believe that he came out as bisexual by mistake and then had to make a twitter thread coming out as straight. this could only ever happen to misha collins.
while i’m talking about things that don’t matter it also gets on my nervies when people who have Not watched south park go “lmao gay south park fans have clearly never watched the show they think it’s a wholesome yaoi and don’t know that it’s actually offensive” because they assume the show just spouts as many bigotries as they can fit in their air time. brother i hate to say it but there’s a reason this thing has gone on for 26 years and these guys have piles of awards. critically acclaimed musical The Book of Mormon is basically just a live action version of their usual shit now come on now
i will not get on this website and start batting like “uhmm actually south park’s queer rep is really good!” UNTIL you compare it to hazbin hotel. adored local icon Big Gay Al could solo any bitch on hazbin it’s actually insulting to compare them like that
