OMG this is it. Thank you so much!!! I didn't think I would ever find it again
I am looking for a very specific episode of Hello Kitty, which I have seen in french around the 2000s to 2010s.
It traumatised me, and sometimes I wonder if it's actually real, so if anyone knows, please inform me.
The episode is about the climate change and wrecking the planet, I obviously forgot big parts of the plot but Hello Kitty is simply discovering everything that's gone wrong (she timetravelled or something, i don't remember). Her mom explaning that they only eat breakfast because there isn't enough food to eat several lunches, which horrifies Hello kitty. All the trees have been cut so there's no paper, and overall, pretty wrecked backgrounds (as much as Hello Kitty can make it.) And this very specific episode is a core memory of mine, triggering my entire care for climate change, and nothing else.
That's all I remember. If you have a YT link it'd be perfect, even just a glimpse of it.
Thank you.

Spoilers, act 1, dark urges. Welp, I say as Halsin gets into my camp, saying thank you for saving the camp, as if there isn't the Absolute shrine just laying around right there. Right, there, right across, in front of Scratch.
Tumblr media
Wasn't this bug supposed to be fixed? How the hell did I get Halsin to join me?? They are all dead Halsin. What do you mean. In my head, my Dark Urge character convinced him all his druids friends are alive and well just to have him in her camp because he's a usefull guy. He's delusionnal. That's my headcannon. Yes Halsin, you did send a new person to lead them, yes you did. As my headcannon, my character also answers his letters to make him think someone actually still lives there, because she's the kind to do so to keep some allies with her.

Well. Baldur's Gate 3 uh.
Spoilers will be notified, but I'll talk very broadly spoiler-free first.
I only need to sing praises for that rollercoster of my last two weeks, and why my character is sitting on a bench watching the horizon as I reflect on the adventure that I haven't even finished and probably won't because for the life of me I never finish games. I stop right before.
The game is an experience, a journey. It's implemented with little bits of dialogues every single second of your adventure, its rewarding you as you explore, everywhere there is something, a fulliling experience jam-packed wherever you go.
Transitions from exploring to fights to dialogs are a delight and merge into one another like it is obvious to do it that way. I like every parts of dialogs, every parts of gameplay, there isn't a single phase of gameplay that I dislike or am glad when it is over. The fights are easy -I play on easy- but a delight. What if I did this? And you're surprised, when most of what you try, works.
I think it is its greatest strenght, it flows very well. Incredibly well. It's one, whole, coherent experience that you cannot put down.
SPOILERS. Companion's endings. I'm mostly talking about Astarion's and Shadowheart's
I however metaphorically put down my controller and walked all the way back to a good view of the ocean as I got out of Asterion's ending with Cazador. The game felt finished at this point. Maybe it is one of its weakness that the more its goes, the less the tadpoles feel like an actual important plot point but it gains the most powerful thing for a story in exchange :
Its characters.
The journey is about the characters. You start this game with a problem that unites people, characters you slowly gain trust and affection from AND for as you adventure about. The tadpoles are an excuse to have a cast of characters like these. You can hear them talk as you walk around, there's dialog everywhere you go which you learn not to miss. They feel alive. Not some kind of stupid animal following you and repeating the same thing over and over.
And it strays away from its premise. I once cared about the tadpoles but as the story went on, as I uncovered the sorry pasts of my compagnions I started to shift my attention. It wasn't about tadpoles anymore or temptations of power or whatever, I didn't bat an eye when the Emperor appeared because it wasn't my concern anymore. It was about learning and understanding and searching how to help my compagnions.
And when you stand in the middle of a pool of Cazador's blood, looking at a covered in blood Astarion after he brutally kills his abuser it simply feels over. It's the end.
As you watch Shadowhearts throw away any convictions she had for what she started to understand was right. She threw away the spear, because she had grown.
It's such a good feeling.
I grew more fond of these two characters than I have ever grew fond of any character in any other game ever. They're your compagnions. Actual compagnions.
I stood bewildered in front of Cazador's body. What would be more satisfying than that? What would ever be in this game? Removing your tadpoles? Winning against the big brain? Who the fuck cares when you watch Asterion finally, finally be fucking free.
I made Asterion grow and move on. That's what matters.
I opened Lae'zel eyes on her own tribe, on her own never faltering belief. The same could be said about Shadowheart.
I'm very sad that Karlach doesn't seem to have a proper ending. I hope it gets implented in the future. I'd gladly play it again.
I feel this game is much, much, muuuuch more about friendship and building character than anything else. I guess that depends how you play but oh well.
Well, I talked enough about the game. It is great. I loved the journey, and I'll love it forever.

This very moment, where you die at the very very very end of sans's fight. That you even have the adrenaline rushing in exactly as if you won, but you freaking DIDN'T. The moment where you're so close to victory you're already tasting it, you're already experiencing it.
am beating you sans, i SWEAR.

Hear me out. Great idea.
Context: have Arfid, basically phobia of new foods.
Step 1 : become Ytuber, get food sponsors.
Step 2 : I try eating the various food and keep a tier list of them with stupid categories like "plants and grass" "7 year old safe" "i thought I died for an hour afterwards" "... I can eat that???" and record my absolutely stupid and irrational reactions to food and aggressive talking to it. Maybe with a guest which can actually eat things to compare.
Hidden Step 3 : progressively get more comfortable with new food.
Win-win

a couple snippets from a presentation i gave at school this past week on storyboarding!!
‼️DISCLAIMER: I am still a student and have only worked on student and indie projects! This is just stuff that I personally find helpful as an amateur, so feel free to take it with a grain of salt!
Happy boarding, friends! ✍️💕

If you ever need sleep, climb on the white dragon's head and let Link get a ride. It's been 3 or 4 in games days, and this dragon has taken me to the opposite point of the map, and didn't cycle yet. Looks like it's going for a glyph on the map for now.
I got attacked once by a flying thing. And for a coupe minutes every thing water was glitching like crazy.
But it's so, relaxing... the scenery is beautiful... The music is perfect.

Zelda is such a nice game. It's so freeing. Yes. Yes I got 7 shrines before speaking to Purah and got a horse. So what.
Such a shame that's where I'll have to leave it, because work. Ugh.

you see, I'm missing a single character on the main menu.
It's Vace.
Of course. But, I went for him three different times, and somehow, even if I got him to 100% friendship TWICE it never triggered the achievement or the actual ending. Maybe the world is telling me not to go for him.

I think that's my favorite line, it always cracks me up any time I read it
I have been playing this game for literally 19.6 hours since I bought it… one day ago, and I had to physically get off my computer for a second to deal with this line from my 3rd playthrough… Lord knows I love my fictional beings
Tumblr media
Like… Shut up!!! You are a computer ai!!! An all knowing being!!! Stop flirting!!!! That’s my job!!!!
I made this the custom steam background for the game too because I feed into my delusions (+1 Delusion card)

I watched a reveal of all the New Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. I do not know who the designers are, but boy, it's just going to downhill. Pokemon has a specific visual, and in this game a lot of them look like they could be monsters in Dragon Quest that I played in 2010~ish. Which isn't necesserily bad, but it's a Pokemon game, not a Dragon Quest game.
Visuals are just at best lookable, at worst just horrible. I heard about performance issues. This is just not tolerable. I am not sold on the game at all. What I loved in Arceus, the catching mechanic, isn't here, so I will wait.
There's some part of me that says that games in that sorry state should not be allowed to release. This isn't a finished game. A lot of designs are clearly lacking, especially compared to better ones in this very game. There's a straight up flamingo and dolphin. At least make it a little more pokemon than that, I even wondered if someone had just put an actual picture of a flamingo in the game. The texxture on their 3D models are half-baked and just noise. Don't complicate a design.
Jesus. This game.

I was introduced to Sky children of the light. Funniest thing ever! I went into the game with zero idea of what to expect.
First of, I got kidnapped once? xD
The "intuitive learning experience" where devs think the player will understand where to go or what to do is a proof they never had a me play the game... I somehow got to the raining forest before realizing that there were other players with me in game?
Got the green desert and finally realised there was some kind of map in the game? And also realized there were spirits and glowing kids to collect? Understood the constellations on blocked doors were these spirits all along!
Anyway, I'm having fun. I barely understand what's going on. I collect glowing kids and keep on trying to get out of areas and get yeeted by wind when I thought it was a perfectly normal area xD

I watched the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and oh boy, short story long, watch it. I watched the movie first by mistake, and I think that was the greatest decision I've ever made. So watch the movie, at least.
It's very newcomers friendly. It's basically a simple story, without needing to have any idea of who is who or what is that, with amazing visuals and just out-of-the-world action scenes. And I hate action scenes. Really. I hate it because usually it's just two people fight, one win, end. Doesn't really tell much more. But each fight you get to watch the character of the animation, because this animation has a life on its own I swear. It doesn't drag uselessly, you get introduced to powers, you get introduced to how a character fights, how well they cooperate or not and you can't just skip it until you see someone on the ground. There's something to catch in the action scenes.
And it even has the time to be funny, almost effortlessly in between scenes.
Tumblr media
The guy comes from the future, says terrible news, and this is one of the shots from the film. It comes naturally, isn't forced. The character expressions and attitudes are just, magnificent and they use their 2D animation medium at its best!
Tumblr media
This pose just isn't human. It would never happen. But it's just, so funny to watch! She's trying to reach for his badge on his chair while he doesn't look. There's a billion way to tell this tiny fact, and they choose to make her reach like that. The animation is funky all the way through and you never get bored! You know how humans usually do things, so they don't do it normally, it's 2D animation, not human simulation!
Tumblr media
I just like this shot. Also don't get me started on character designs. Each Turtle is unique, and part of the reason I never tried to care for the Ninja Turtles before was that, yeah, there's 4 different colored Turtles that otherwise look exactly the same. I'm not doing a Five parts analysis on why Iove their designs so much, but the use of shapes is impeccable.
Tumblr media
And their use of different body parts in perspective. Be it hands, legs it's magnificient.
Tumblr media
And that's just a treat.
You then finish the movie, which I didn't say much about but has great story points and very great character development btw, you're left standing: "Waw. That was amazing. I wish there was a more light-hearted series now, just so I can enjoy the family dynamic and the goofy animation."
And you learn there's two seasons. As a treat.
Watch this show, even if you have no prior knowledge of the Ninja Turtles. I didn't. I loved it. I'd say you'll enjoy it more if you know nothing about prior shows. Because it apparentaly changes a lot of the usual formula, and nostalgic people will spit in the face of anything that changes. I know that. I like Pokemon.
(Also. They could have brought the guy back in time like, 3 days before the actual event, you know, so that he actually finds the people and objects he needs to protect in time. But eh.)
