those of you who follow @chaoslynx may already be aware of the situation, but for everyone else, here’s a recap: chaos is currently trying to get out of a dangerous situation with a violent partner. unfortunately, rent, breaking a lease, and travel expenses, etc., all stack up, and it’s going to be pretty costly.

so over the pandemic i picked up bookbinding, and was wondering if you would mind if i printed out TRFL out into two books? I'd be doing the formatting, printing, sewing, and binding myself at home!

I think kaladin is so funny... he's like a classic fantasy hero, but also he has regular ol depression and parents that want him to be a doctor like the rest of us. he goes home to his parents and his dad sees him enveloped in holy light and goes "stop that. you were halfway towards a medical degree... please just study medicine"

none of us are ever going to see the global fall of capitalism and imperialism (if that were the case, our parents or grandparents would have seen the fall of feudalism in the 1800s) – we all have to get real comfortable with the fact that humanity is an ongoing project with no perfect utopic end we will ever feasibly achieve in our lifetime & that’s not something to despair about. centering joy and relief of the small crawl of progress is the only way not only to not burn out, but to feel a sense of accomplishment in the relay race we are running
