The only ones who would say that it's soup are Willa, Wolfgang, Max, and Morgan. And three of them would do so just to have Günther or Hugo riled up. Only Morgan would be serious about it, because she's a freak 😆

You know what irritates me about how EA created the Münch family, other than this missing diaeresis above the "u"? The fact that Lucas is written with a "c" instead of a "k". Like, I'm thiiiiis close to start calling him Lukas. I mean, I already added the diaeresis to both Münch and Günther (for Gun, it was ever that or drop the "h" to make it more authentic), so why not swap the "c" to " k", amiright?

It'd mean changing his tag and going through my posts to correct the spelling everywhere he's mentioned, but it'd look so much better.

Did I just give THREE middle names to Elsa, just because I thought it was funny that the poly girl has so many names (you know, like if she was "poly-named"?). Yes, I totally did.

It's idiotic (so, it's on brand), but it's funny to me (and as long as it fits in the designated space on my page, what is stopping me?).

Of course, Lucas and Marlies' have to be "Hans" and "Grete" because I'm an idiot. Just like Hugo's is "Sol". (and no, my other sets of twins - or Günther & Sofia's triplets - don't have matching names)

That's a lot. And she already has 5 cousins. It might be more, I'm still pondering giving Johnny & Don a couple of children like I did in my former 'verse. And Lory is begging for another child 'cause she wants a daughter, but Jacques is... a bit hesitant; Pablo is just a few months old, and Jacques himself is not getting any younger, and doesn't want his younger children to lose their father before they hit the double digits (he's not old, per see, but he could easily be Theo & Pablo grandpa, age-wise). Lory keeps telling him he has a good twenty-five to thirty years before him, or even more (he might reach 100, who knows?), and that he's in great shape and takes good care of his health, still, he worries. But you know that she'll have her new baby sooner or later because he can't say no to her (and she's not above using manipulation to get what she wants).

📩 @simblr-question-of-the-day: What’s your MOST used pieces of CC? From skin details, to hair, to shoes, and clothes, what are they?

I have nearly 250Go (and counting) of CAS CC, so I try to have some variety and not over-use the same item (and sometimes fail), but there are certainly some categories of items I do use a lot: freckles, eyebags, scars, piercings. I have to stop myself from giving freckles to every sim I create or townie I make over; same with eyebags (but really, not everyone has to look like an insomniac, right?). And I always use 3D lashes (or 2D if I have too many accessories and the 3D ones conflict with everything), nails, and skin overlays.

There are also a few creators that I really favour: @pralinesims for the accessories (esp. piercings & glasses), @johnnysimmer, @o0corruptedghoul0o/simomo, @simandy & @yin-shimo/tianshi88 for hair, and @northernsiberiawinds, @sims3melancholic & @obscurus-sims for skin overlay/skin details. For clothes, there are too many creators I use regularly, but some I really like are @darte77, @belaloallure3, @gorillax3-cc, @bank42n, @bluecravingcc, @saruin, @aniraklova & @ts4eve to name just a few from the top of my head.

I just added Johnny to my page, and the "Siblings" section is crazy:

Plus, there is Geoffrey & Patina's daughter, Jeanette, whom he considers his sister, though they aren't actually blood-related. He doesn't consider Sofia & Elsa his sisters though, since he doesn't see Björn as his father (he's just his uncle, in his eyes); and the fact that they are also his cousins (so are the others; but at least they have the same mother; even if he's estranged from her, she's still his mom) creeps him a little (but he does adore Elsa; she's one of his favourite persons).

Thanks to the creator of the page template for integrating filters or it would be impossible to find anyone (I believe I have nearly 70 characters in my portraits folder for the page... Yep, I'm a bit excessive).

Nancy had her (better be last!) baby. May I present to you, Michaela Bjergsen (yep, finally one of the Nancy/Björn babies has their father's name; it only took 32 years for this to happen...).

She's cute but a little bit dramatic and an attention queen. She also gonna be the spoilest baby ever and Nancy won't even hide that she's her favourite.

That said, the fact that Bjergsen made his affair publicly known by recognizing his daughter (also a first) and giving her his name, was the last straw for Clara who FINALLY kicked his ass out of the house and filed for divorce. Better late than never. I don't know why she took this long. Or why Björn didn't do it himself the instant Nancy and Geoffrey divorced, but whatever. What Björn didn't waste time to do, though, was asking Nancy to marry him. You can be sure that the moment the judgment is passed, they'll run to City Hall and finally officialize their relationship. Nancy will still keep her maiden name, because of the status it carries, but she'll hyphen it to Björn's, making her Nancy Landgraab-Bjergsen; Björn will stay a Bjergsen, no hyphen, 'cause he doesn't want to have the same name as the people who stopped him from being with the woman he always loved, all those years ago (for Chester and Queenie forbade Nancy to marry him 'cause an heiress couldn't associate with the son of a fisherman, it just wasn't the done thing).

Hi Squatty! Thanks for the ask (and sorry I'm only answering now)!

I do neither 1 nor 2 (I do try, but I always fail 'cause of boredom). And I don't really play either. I mainly (atm, at least) stay in CAS and imagine stories about some premade families and OC's.

BUT! I do love building and even more, I adore decorating. I can spend hours working on one tiny room, just picking the right clutter (I'm an over-clutterer) and putting it in the right place. For me, a house or flat has to reflect the personalities & hobbies of the sims living there. Even when I build just for the sake of building, I end up having a sim or family in mind that could live on the lot I'm creating. Either it's a tiny home no bigger than 24 tiles, a manor with 8 bedrooms (that one is a bit under-decorated for me, though; but that worked with the family I made it for), an abandoned asylum with nearly 30 cells (plus other rooms), or a whole-ass post-apo settlement, it still has to tell a story, even without any sims around, you know?

I recently started a save using "RatSave 1.2" by @ratboysims though 'cause I didn't feel like building a whole world for the soap-operaesque 'verse I'm creating.
