I do not care about instagram followers in the slightest however its rlly funny that ill lose followers anytime I post something even slightly jewish there. sometimes its something I sadly expect such as when I've clearly stated im a zionist. other times its downright comical like when I changed my pfp to me wearing a kippah. why are you unfollowing me bc I wear a fun hat. it feels comical like something that'd be in a cartoon to show that X character is a mean guy! are you so so afraid of a little circle of fabric you cannot bear to look at me??

I'm making a post full of ladino related resources and im gonna tag you in it as well as a bunch of other people! it should be done within the next couple days. I really just wanna have it all in one spot. I'll have helpful phrases and my personal faves as well!

yes PLEASE use it! even if its just 1 word that you know. there are not many ladino speakers in the world especially ones that are below 65. I cant speak for all sephardim but I know im incredibly grateful when people try to learn even a smidge of it. because sadly our older generation isn't gonna be around forever and its important to preserve this language as best as we can.

I’ve been asking my dad to teach me some Yiddish words lately, but now I am curious about Ladino too - I’ll admit I’ve never heard of it, but there’s a lot about Jewish communities and cultures that I don’t know. Do you have any particular favorite words or expressions that you wouldn’t mind sharing?

had a dream where I got stuck in a time loop and there was a mannequin head with a maybe human body and a human head with a maybe mannequin body and they tried to use me for something over and over again. I think they were trying to use my body to become fully human?? it's unclear. there were needles involved too and I'm scared of needles now. anyway I was only able to get out when I admitted that I would never be able to escape so I guess the lesson was I have to admit defeat sometimes? anyway I dont recommend time loops it was a 0/10 experience
