frequently i get overcome with panic about my health/finances/other shit but sometimes it encourages me to do good things for myself. for example i just applied to get free nhs dental care and possibly prescriptions. all because i was worried about the state of my teeth. and this can only be a positive for me i think.

general life update also tomorrow begins the homecoming of my friends FINALLY so that's great but what's a bit less great is that i definitely have blepharitis and have probably had blepharitis for like Four Fucking Years without realising

#general lifeupdate 🫡 #ive always had this grody patch of dry skin on my eyelid that gets irritated with the change in weather and i thought it was just yknow #dry bit that gets annoyed by the cold #but it also gets annoyed by the hot #and it itches and then i rub it and the skin breaks and it stings and then gets more irritated and then i have to itch it again #and it continues forever #and today it was just intolerable so i consulted dr google #and he said overwhelmingly #YOU FOOL IT'S BLEPHARITIS!!! #and after putting warm compresses on it exactly twice it is already better than it was #and ive suffered through this cycle like 9 times already #i remember specifically on my 18th birthday it was so so sore i could barely keep my eyes open because hooded eyes + broken eyelid #bad #so in conclusion let this be your warning #if you have fucked up eye skin it's probably not just a weirdness of your eye skin it's probably #in fact #fucking blepharitis #thanks for coming

i finally finished my dnd character - a whiteface clown named Roscoe Gubbins who is incredibly charismatic but dumb as a bag of rocks - and has a dead lover named Sunny Tumbles (who is a harlequin clown and i forced j to roll for them and make them a character sheet)
