Well as mod said we can't know if he loves or not but I think if you love someone you'd miss the person by your side. And the last part might be a reason but what does he say when they ask where she is "She lives in Paris". People would be 🤨. Why don't you have enough to get her over to live with her. They would understand it's not serious but weird especially for a 40 year old. And about the family part, we know he kept her away from his parents and hometown this late tour with evidence. Louise looks like just to be a place holder till he is ready for a real relationship again. He's eventually single but not officially.

Yeah. It’s not like they have to live apart for work like many LDRs. Louise goes to him most of the time and doesn’t seem to have much going on in Paris, which tells me she’d rather they live together. So what it has to come down to is Alex simply not wanting them to live together, and the closest place he was willing to get her an apartment in was across the English Channel. Like, if he wanted to live apart but still be with her most of the time, he could have found her a flat near his home in London. She loves warm weather and the beach and has at least one friend in LA (Amanda), so he could have also moved their home base back there and again, found her somewhere nearby if he didn’t want to officially move her in to his house.
