I'm not an expert on Robert De Niro and nor do I know everything about him, i am just a fan and have been for most of my adult life. Anything you see on this blog or any answers/comments I post here are based solely on things I have read in newspapers, magazines, books/excerpts from books. Somethings wiill have been found on websites and forums around the internet and other things will have been found in comments under articles and posts about Robert de Niro found on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and online news articles .I appreciate that not everything in the press and around the internet will be true but I'm one of this people who believes in no smoke wihtout fire, so the rumours and gossip come from somewhere and have some semblance of truth even if only a small amount. I'm here to have fun and to share pics, videos, news, movie discussions, thoughts, opinions and stories with anyone who is a fan of Robert de Niro who follows this blog. All I ask apart from no politics and no Donald Trump is that we keep things friendly, respect each others opinons even if we don't agree and that we do not engage in any kind of abuse, harrassment, trolling or discrimination. You can use profanity as llong as it's not being used to insult, abuse others.

Bobby D & his partner Tiffany Chen at the 96th Acadamy Awards (2024 Oscar's) earlier tonight. Screenshots taken during the announcement for Best Supporting Actor Oscar.

Bobby D didn't win, once again the season favourite Robert Downey Junior won. I'm a little pissed aboout it but I'll get over it.

No red carpet pics because once again it looks like they avoided the red carpet (I have no idea why they do this and its a tad annoying because I'd love to see them on the red carpet at an awards ceremony and Tiffany all glammed up. But, never mind maybe some time in the future she'll give us a twirl on The Oscar's red carpet like all the other ladies did., yes even some wives/partners of actors showed off their fashion and posed for the press pack because I put myself through the tedious ordeal of watching the red carpet arrivals and I saw them.

Bob is nominated for a best supporting actor award in tonight’s Oscar’s Ceremony. I hope to see him on the red carpet with Tiffany but they’ve avoided the red carpet part of awards ceremonies recently. I’d also love to see Tiffany have some fun with fashion and glam it up a bit.

On Tiffany all that I’d like to see a little upset in the awards ceremony itself. Robert Downey Jr has been scooping up the awards this season in the best supporting actor category so tonight I’d like to see Bob win for his role as William Hale in Killers of The Flower Moon. A few years ago Anthony Hopkins won best actor when most of the world believed Chadwick Boseman would win it. I want to see that happen again tonight and Bobby D win an Oscar instead of Downey Jr.

Bob was nominated but didn’t win. Lily Gladstone won Best Actress. I thought he wasn’t there because he didn’t walk the red carpet and I got sleepy and turned off before he appeared on stage. Trust me to miss it. I’ll have to watch again later and get screenshots lol.

A nice write up here about Bobby D’s portrayal of William Hale in Killers of The Flower Moon which hits the nail on the head regarding how Bobby De played the role in comparison to other roles he played including the role of Jake Lamotta in Raging Bull.

For anyone who hasn’t seen Killers of The Flower Moon I highly recommend it. Yes it’s a long film but it’s totally worth it especially to see the amazing Lily Gladstone as Molly and also Bob for his best character portrayal in years.

The SAG Awards take place tonight and the Oscar’s on March 10th and while this awards season the best actor category seems to be playing favourites with Robert Downey Jr (I haven’t seen Oppenheimer so I can’t comment one way or the other on his performance) I am hoping for a shock twist either at the SAG Awards or the Oscar’s, while I’m not getting my hopes up too high I remind myself often that there have been shock wins in the past (Anthony Hopkins won Best Actor just a couple of years ago for his performance in The Father when everyone expected Chadwick Bozeman to win) so maybe Bobby D will win something this year.
