I discovered this blog only yesterday, but I love it! I love the way you write Cinderella, and I love reading the essays you write and reblog! Hearing what other people appreciate about Disney's Cinderella has been really fun!

I saw in one of your posts that you said you had muses for Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella as well. Do they have their own blogs on Tumblr? Would you be able to share the URLs? I'm keen to check them out too!

Thank you so much for sending it- you didn't have to, but you did, and that means a lot to me 😊Cinderella has been one of my favorite characters my entire life and I do everything I can to honor her, as she was in the original 1950 film. Thought, learning and intellect headcanon asks for muses

[MENTAL CHATTER] Does your character have an ongoing inner monologue, or do they more frequently think wordlessly/in abstract?

[ENTANGLED] Does your muse experience synaesthesia? (eg. tasting sounds, or seeing colours in music) If yes, does this have any effect on their creativity or understanding of certain senses?

[ALOUD] Does your character subvocalise (sound out words in their head) when reading silently to themselves, or no? When reading fiction, do they “hear” individual voices for each speaking character?

[WPM] How quickly can your character type, read or write?

[MOTHER TONGUE] For bilingual muses: does your character think in one particular language more than another? Are there certain topics or themes that they may be more likely to switch to another?

[FOCUS] How well can your muse focus on their own thinking or study in the presence of distracting background stimuli (loud environments, background chatter, visual clutter…)

[OFF TRACK] Is your muse prone to letting their mind wander? To their detriment?

[INTEREST] Does your muse find it hard to learn about or remember details of subjects that don’t captivate their personal interest? Even if they might be useful or advantageous to know?

[AHAH!] Is your muse good at recognising patterns and putting information together to recognise correlations or solutions quickly? Or do they need others to spell things out to them?

Really happy to be able to share my relationship with Cinderella on here, and build connections both ooc and ic, but please please please refrain from engaging in creative larceny. I run this account for free and it's take me the better part of my life to get the characterization right, build upon the bond I've had with her since childhood, and to say I've been meticulous in the curation of the blog, from the aesthetics to the format to the content itself, would be a huge understatement. Stealing my theme or blatantly ripping off my aesthetics and just using me for my ideas without actually respecting me or my interpretation isn't okay. I've tried to be as generous as possible, but it's really starting to irritate me.

I run this blog to bring Cinderella to life as a muse, not to be a resource to other people who don't even interact with me and just want to steal all of my writing and thoughts for their own portrayal. If you're questioning whether this applies to you, it probably doesn't, but just wanted this out there because it's been getting out of hand. For everyone else, this probably doesn't apply to you, so feel free to continue interacting with this blog as you have before. As always, I'm open to IM's and chats about the character, film, and I'm down for new rp connections!

In the verses where all the Disney characters are together, whether it's in the studio back in the day or in Disneyland, Cinderella was always the most elusive of the figures. It isn't that she didn't want to come, but she was always detained with responsibilities that seemed to multiply by the minute. The way Walt always got her to turn up was by playing one of her favorite songs on the music box. That was a sure-fire way to summon her, as she could never miss a good time.

"Oh, when that old clock strikes, I get to be in such a flurry-" There could be a number of reasons why her slippers kept sliding, depending on the situation. In certain instances, it's indeed because she's in a hurry- time itself seems to cast a spell on her soles. Other reasons could include her feet being too clean, the shoe's heel being too big, or how forgetful she can be, if she gets lost in the atmosphere. Sometimes she even forgets she's wearing them. "But, come to think of it, I don't know that Aristotle did say that. If he did, it must've slipped my mind." A playful, wry smile crossed the pert mouth. It seemed her new friend wanted intel, but divulging secrets hadn't been in Cinderella's department. "I might be rusty though. I'll have to make some time to brush up on my Greek history. I'm almost certain Father had a set on Ancient Greece in the study. Of course, there's always an Octavius I can consult- but wrong empire."

Aristotle once said: “If Cinderella’s shoe fit her flawlessly, why did it fall off?”

"Maybe we oughta direct that question to @allaglow! How 'bout it, Cindy? What are the deets on your feet?"
