Well, well, well, will you look at that? Itâs Pride again.
You know the drill by now. Itâs June 1, and suddenly everything from banks to big box stores has slapped a rainbow on their logo. Rainbow capitalism knows how to target LGBTQIA+ customers. For exactly 30 days of the year. How quaint.
Of course, itâs nice to make things bright, and colorful, and pretty. But itâs meaningless if thatâs all it is.
Pride should be about uplifting and celebrating you, the community. And it should be year-round, not just 8.22% of the year. So, weâre signal-boosting your posts that celebrate, support, and honor all genders and sexualities over here. Follow to keep your dashboard lovely and gay as hell all year round.
And, yes, weâre also making a bit of a fuss right here on @celebrate (apparently, we just canât help ourselves). So if youâre interested in talking about what Pride means to you or want to celebrate Pride but donât know how to go about it this year, we made a fun little 30-day Share Your Pride Challenge list. Because you do, in fact, deserve to be celebrated.
Tag your posts with #ShareYourPride if you want to make them a little easier for other people to find. And Tumblr? Happy Pride. Weâre glad youâre here.

SOFT MOMENTS feat. ASIAN WLW
Happy Pride to all my Asian LGTBQ+ identifying women who love women! Weâve had a good few years in media, but more representation is always needed and welcome, not just for Asians, but all queer women of color, trans women, BLACK WOMEN, BLACK TRANS WOMEN. Shout outs to the HAPAs! Not just the half white HAPAs, but the half-black, half-latinx, half-indigenous HAPAs who often feel erased and not Asian enough on top of being queer. We see you!Â
Please note, I included all of Asia geographically (not just East Asia) since West Asia and even South Asia are often separated into Indians/Arabs/Middle Eastern people. This was a good excuse for me to sneak in Arthie, Kadena, Circumstance, and I Canât Think Straight.Â
I made this specifically because AAPIHM and Pride Month are one after the other, so it felt right to make it and celebrate those identities together!
Because we need a moment to breathe amidst all the chaos and because PRIDE is a celebration as much as it is a fight for our lives, consider playing this drinking game! Cheers!
đ·Drink if the ship has an Asian.
đ„Drink if the ship has two WOC.
đ·Drink if the ship is in bed.
đ„Drink if the ship is touching foreheads.
đ·Drink if the ship is dancing. Drink twice if their eyes are closed.
đ„Drink if they are GAYZINGâą into each otherâs eyes.
đ·Drink if someone is holding the otherâs face.
đ„Drink if there is hand-holding or finger stroking.
đ·Drink if the ship is back-huggingÂ
đ„Drink if theyâre playing with each otherâs hair.
đ·Drink if your ship is floating.
đ„Drink if one or both have saved the otherâs life.
đ·Drink if the ship is smiling.
đ„Drink if the ship is yearning.
đ·Drink if the ship had a BETRAYAL at some point in the relationship.
đ„Drink if you can feel the sexual tension through the GIF.
đ·Drink if your ship changed your life.â€ïžÂ
