i learned about Tim Wong who successfully and singlehandedly repopulated the rare California Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly in San Francisco. In the past few years, he’s cultivated more than 200 pipevine plants (their only food source) and gives thousands of caterpillars to his local Botanical Garden (x)

I hate that so much discourse into fighting climate change is talking about bioenginerring a special kind of seaweed that removes microplastics or whatever other venture-capital-viable startup idea when we have known for forever about shit like digging crescent shaped holes to catch rainwater and turning barren land hospitable

augh have to have an awkward conversation with my flatmate tomorrow because we didnt have to pay council tax one month without me knowing so i owe her the money back but shes acting weird like i did this on purpose..
worsened by the fact i brought this up to her as soon as i noticed forgetting she was actually heading out to a friend’s birthday party that i was invited to but didnt really think i was expected to go to except it seems like it was so now i have multiple strikes against me
but ALSO having now reviewed all my bank statements to figure out the council tax thing it turns out she hasnt paid ME some of the water bill money……. so now what
