Dog Tired marks the last of Chuck Jones' shorts starring the Curious Puppies, a series that is intrinsically dependent on old directing habits better left shed. of all the shorts to end on, Tired proves a particularly good end point, and certainly demonstrates just how much Jones has improved within the past three years since their inception. part spot gag, part Puppies, the pups now find themselves in a zoo, where the various zoo animals either seek to humiliate them or allude their chase for a bone.
