Day 05 (Febuery 14th, 2023)

탐구 하루 꼬박 후에, 저는 시간 하고 제 목함을 정리해 필요었에요.(After a full day of exploration, i needed some time to rest and organize my chests)

Besides that, i made the walls prettier and also made some space for a furnece, smelting and cooking. I already have some space reserved for a kitchen in the future.

You can see the cow on top of my bad, and some enchented books i found. Don't mind the skeleton, it's noting =D.

I also expend some time exploring the farming mod, crooptopia. It's not the only farming mod, for what i saw, but is the easier one to start on. I planted on some grapes, respeberies,onions, tomatos, etc. I made a big window to be able to see it from sinside the house.

Day 04 (Febuary 13th,2023)

오늘 저는 탐험에서 결정였어요! (today i decided to explore!) I must admit i was tired of being stuck inside the mineshaft, i need some sunlight to keep healthy! Also: 어졔에, 제가 소테디는 찾았에요 (yesterday i found a cow plushie), i forgot to shere it! It's very cute, i can wear it or place it in the house (forshedowing).

There are so many cute animals out there! I found a hamster and buterflies! i didn't even knew the modpack had them.

And, while exploring and killing zombies, one droped a hat...a strawberry hat. it's the cutest thing ever, and the best part is that i can wear it with my helmet!

After exploring, i went back home using the waystone to go back home, but not without getting some amazing photos and more vocabulary!

미니크래프트/Minecraft Day 03 (Febuary 12th,2023)

후에 (After) spanding 어제(yesterday) in the mines....i decided to do something diferent: i went into a cave!lmao. jokes aside, there is a huge lush cave within the mineshaft, where i finished getting a bunch of resources.

그때 저는 더크게 농원 만들었어요.(then i made the farm bigger), getting new crops!After the farm, i went exploring and found two villages!

On top of that, i also made a nether 포털 (portal) and quickly went in to get some shoroomlights (they look cooler and are easier to get than glowstone).

now, to 제 집! (my house!) because today i had a lot more time to waste spand learning korean, i expended the house: it a big square now, with 벽돌 장벽 하고 나무 바닥 (brick walls and wood floor) and ceiling. Also, i stole borrowed one waystone from a village (the one i found yeasterday).

About my progress: i'm starting to recognize some words, not many but way more than before i started this challenge. Also, i changed a bit the modpack, taking out the pokemón mod because i didn't like it and got overwhelmed by it.

미니크래프트/Minecraft Day 02 (Febuary 11th,2023)

오늘 (Today) the focus was on getting resources:iron, coal...and i even got some diamonds! You know, 다이아몬드는 여자 아이를 가장 친한 친구 예요! (Diamonds are a girl's best friend)

The base was very small, so i did some quality of life upgades: made the inside of my hobbit hole bigger, created space for the starts of a farm, and was even able to trap two chikens! I was very happy do descover how to make cages lmao. I also lured in a pair of sheep, now i just need cows and pigs.

오늘 어휘: 무기질! today's vocabulary: minerals ! (In pharenteses, the other possible meanings.)

Just a quick update about my 30 days challenge: i plaid A LOT of minecraft today, so much so that my brain is abit overwhelmed and mushy lmao. I even forgot to take screenshots of yhe playthrough!

But but but i've noticed that i can already recognize easy words like 토마토 and 양 (tomato and sheep)! So yeah, progress!

@studentbyday said i should re-define "useless" in my mind. instructions unclear. made a shitpost instead 💩

Some 설(Seol, name for the Korean lunar new year holiday) greetings in case you want to wish 악어 happy Seol:

새해 복 많이 받으세요! (Sae-hae bok man-ee bad-eu-se-yo)

(Literally translates to "Many blessings for the new year!". It's the customary Korean way to wish soneone a happy new year. It's used on 설 as well, since it IS lunar new year.)

설 연휴 잘 보내세요! (Seol yun-hyoo jal bo-nae-se-yo)

("Have a good Seol holidays!" It's half over now cuz Seol was the 10th, which was yesterday for Koreans, but ehh)

명절 잘 보내셨어요? (Myung-jeol jal bo-nae-shut-suh-yo?)

("Did you have a good holiday?")

(*: There's an official rule for romanized spellings, but I didn't stick to it, cuz some of the rules make the pronunciation seem even more complicated than it actually is. Still looks pretty headachey though, I know😅)

I've been feeling very stuck in my korean learning recentily, i haven't enjoied studing it for a while now. I havent seen a lot of progress, and my vocabulary is very bare bones.

So I've decided to do something diferent: i will play games in korean to learn more vocaubalary (even if the vocabulary won't be very usefull lmao)

The games i will be playing are: Moded Minecraft (The Bigchadguys modpack), moded stardew valley, and possibly the sims 3 (with custom content, but not moded). I won't be playing every day, but everytime i play it will be in korean.

미니크래프트/Minecraft Day 01 (Febuary 10th,2023)

I've started a new world called "안네 세계 " in minecraft, using the The BigChadGuys modpack. I went in without knwoning anything about the modpack, being 좀 놀람 (very suprised) to see pokemons and stardew valley's seasons count! As soon as i spawned in the world, i got the basics: 나무(wood), 식량(food),조약돌 (cobblestone). i spend the first night hidding inside a mautain like a 고양이 겁나요! (scared cat!) in the second day, i got exploring and found a mineshaft. Thanks to glowing berrys, there was very few hostile mobs inside the mineshaft, so i've decided to turn this mineshaft into my base. I've made underground bases before, but never turned a mineshaft into a base. For now it's just like pink floyed, a hole in the wall, but in the future it will be amazing! I plan to get some 벚꽃 나무(cherry blossom wood), because 저는 분홍색 시람해요!(i love pink!)
