Well said. Employees leave often because of toxic management, or at least in my experience. Even if its just a game, but I felt bad for my MC most of all. I can't stand bosses or colleagues who plot against you behind doors, it's simply unethical. This shouldn't be a norm.

My guy…you literally couldn’t even get a partnership. You had to buy yourself it because you have nothing to show for your career. You won nothing for the firm. Everyone else did literally all the work that you never did. The only thing you have that’s somewhat impressive is going to an Ivy League school and clerking for a Federal Judge.

The same Federal Judge you worked directly under for 2 years and STILL didn’t know who the fuck you were.

But also, I loved seeing the panic in Reggie and Linda when the MC, Aislinn, and Gabe quit, because I had the same type of toxic boss who acted exactly like them for years until I wised up and realized I was better off somewhere else that appreciated me and what I brought to the company. 

Refused to acknowledge the hard work, loyalty, and dedication MC gave to the firm. The countless hours they spent trying to win cases for the firm. The above and beyond they go for their job. And all of it was simply brushed off and ignored. Yet the second they screw up, it’s all they focus on. But when the MC finally decided it was enough, they tried to cover their asses and praise them because they knew how fucked they were if they lost the majority of the competent people on their team who did 99% of the work.

They know that without them, Martin is going to make the firm suffer and flounder and sink faster than the Titanic, and I think that what makes it more satisfying.
