King Llamas enters the Domestic Cup Head Division

It was a trial game full of memorable moments when King Llamas met the Cow Team this weekend. Long considered to be the underdog, King Llamas has never before entered the Domestic Cup Head Division but this time they nailed it. Many thanks to star player Michal Bachelor. This young talent has played in many games in the Under Division and has risen through the ranks. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was his doing, it was after all a team effort, but he did score three of four goals that sent the team, King Llamas, to the head division by beating The Cow Team in the trail game.

How does it feel to be in the Domestic Cup Head Division for the first time, Michael Bachelor? Well, I just do my best every time I practice and every time I play a match. Sometimes we lose and sometimes we win. It doesn't feel that much different, but I am happy, definitely.

It is in the middle of summer and this evening Alexander O’Connell throws a birthday party. Outside there is a thunderstorm, but his guests are safe and comfortable inside. He invites over some friends he met in Selvadorada, Juan Pablo Vãsquez and Antonella Muñoz. Alexander’s father, Richard, makes Blue Confetti Cake and decorates it with birthday candles.

It is in the middle of summer and there is a heatwave. Alexander O’Connell travels to the gym in Oasis Springs, 94 Road to Nowhere, for a workout. 

 Alexander swim laps in the cool refreshing swimming pool this hot summer’s day. For Alexander, nothing is better for recharging after a day off school. He also pushes the limits for one hour while energized and finished the Bodybuilder aspiration milestone exercise demon.

Last Day of Vacation

It is the last day of vacation. Alexander and Richard go for a hike in Puerto Llamante Marketplace, and they find a terrace at an outlook that had a chessboard. And despite the rainy weather, they sit down for a game of chess.

Temple Secrets

Alexander is once again back at the secret temple in the jungle. This time his research is taking him through the basement of the jungle temple.

He manages to deactivate the fire trap, but he is not so lucky with the electricity trap and he gets electrocuted while trying to pass through. He heads back to the cantina. There he talks about his adventures with the locals and he maxes out  the Selvadoradian Culture skill. He heads over to the food stall and orders something from the secret menu, baleada.

Expedition Rookie

Alexander completed the first milestone of his aspiration, Jungle Explorer. He decided that it was time to explore the temple he had found deep in the jungle. He geared up and hit the road. Around midnight he finally found the right trail track.

“What was that?” Alexander hears noises while digging through a dirt pile for relics. It sounded like footsteps.

“Great place you got here, I enjoyed the waterslide”. Alexander is talking with the statue. “Hang on, what did you say about a trap?”.

Temple

After walking along the trail through the jungle for a few hours Alexander discovers a temple. He heads inside sure-footed and sure of himself. It is dark and damp. It smells of mold. 

As an inexperienced adventurer, he was bound to make some mistakes and he activated a trap and was hit by a poisoned dart. It didn’t hurt too much so Alexander continues onward.

After spending a few hours digging for treasure he heads back to Cantina “El Àrbol del Jaguar”. It is Love day and Richard and Evelyn are there in the courtyard on a date. 

Alexander orders food and drink and eats while watching sports on the telly in the bar. Afterward, he tries to get to know some of the locals. 

“Have you looked in the mirror lately?” a Salvadoradian local asks Alexander looking worried.

“I know, I have a green rash. I got hit by a poisonous dart exploring a temple in the jungle.” Alexander explains. “Would you happen to know how to get hold of an antidote?” Alexander asks the local.

“No, sorry. I don’t go in the jungle much, but you could look online. There is a computer in the museum, Alam Museum of Archeology.”

Adventure

On the second day, Alexander goes exploring. The sign at the start of the trail looks like it has important information, but Alexander walks straight past it and starts hacking away at the vines.

Archaeology

First day in Selvadorada. Alexander is first out of bed as usual. He starts the day by going jogging in the jungle. Then, he heads over to the museum, Alam Museum of Archaeology. He is more practical than theoretical so he starts learning by doing. After spending the day digging he heads over to the pub, Cantina “El Àrbol del Jaguar” and orders Buñuelos and Horchata.

First night in Selvadorada

The O’Connells took an evening flight after Richard was back home from work. Still in their work attire, Evelyn and Richard head over to Cantina “El Àrbol del Jaguar” for a drink. Richard is still stressed out from work.

Richard orders a local drink, Espuma Agria, for the family, and his reputation improves to Good Reputation.

The next day Alexander is first out of bed, as usual, and starts the day with some energy juice and an energized jog through the jungle.

Vacation

Evelyn and Richard have both worked hard and advanced their careers. Richard was tense from work, and both Evelyn and Richard had saved up many vacation days, so they decided to go on vacation to Selvadorada. They brought along their kids Alexander and Elly even though it was late spring and the summer break was still weeks off. Evelyn and Richard thought that going away to Selvadorada would build character as well as Bildung.

They rented Selvadorada Villa, which had a central location close to the market and had enough room for the whole family.
