Hello Simmers!

After a little while I'm back with simple, small yet useful set! This time I decided I want to make something small and decorative JAPANDI TABLEWARE. As my last CC Pack was kitchen based I thought what about some tableware for it? Whole set contains 10 new objects to The Sims 4!

Woven Whims Bed Set • Objects

A matching set of separated beds from the Growing Together pack. I’ve separated the frames from the mattresses so they can be used to mix and match with other separated beds. The frames for these beds will actually slot to the mattresses, allowing you to grab the mattress and take the frame along with it when redecorating. The exception is the crib, you will need to place and move the frame and mattress separately.

LEGENDARY CURTAINS in Image Spectra by amoebae

These curtains from the Modern Luxe kit are so sumptuous, they deserved some tender loving care with a few extra swatches.

Both heights come in 48 Image Spectra colours, and have a brass curtain rod.

For the separate curtain rod middle piece, you can choose either a single standalone version that has just the one brass swatch, or you can choose the override version, which adds the brass swatch to the original catalogue item. You can have both in the game at the same time, if you prefer.

SOPHISTICO ACCENT WALL - 2 versions in image spectra

It's been several hundred years since I released some walls, so let's get back into the swing of things with something nice and simple and elegant.

These new panels from the Modern Luxe kit were crying out for extra swatches to help make them more usable in more places. So here we are, two versions in Image Spectra. Version one has a dark accent, and version two is softer and with a slightly less shiny specular on the raised beading.

PUT A LID ON IT concrete ceiling and floor by amoebae

A couple of years ago I made a ceiling replacer to banish those cold, stark white ceilings from the game. Now we can paint ceilings using floor textures I decided to turn those replacer textures into floors and ceilings so you can choose between them on the fly.

I've split them into two packages. For some reason floor textures get larger and more blurry when applied to the ceiling, so to preserve the same look as my original ceiling replacer I had to create a separate package with different diffuse uv values. You can of course use either version on both ceiling and floor, whichever you think looks best. They're labelled in the catalogue so you know which I think should be used where. They show up in the Masonry section of flooring.

It contains the same 8 concrete colours as my original replacer, plus one more. Shown in this shot on both ceiling and floor is 'warm concrete 02'.

You can continue to use one of my ceiling replacers alongside this, so all ceilings in every lot you visit will use it. You can only have one replacer active at a time. Head over to the original post to choose between them and see the swatches.

HALF STRIPE TILE in 2 palettes by amoebae

Easily the best wall tiles we have in the game now, I’ve done a quick recolour of the Half Stripe Tile that came with Growing Together.

They come in Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and both with either bright white (BW) tiles or off-white (OW) tiles. The paint part of the wall has the same plain texture as came with the originals. I plan on adding the tiles to a bunch of other walls I’ve done in the past for a little more interest and choice. Watch this space!

MESQUITE MOTEL - a community lot by amoebae

— Part of my Oasis Springs rebuilding project —

This old, run-down motel and diner-bar is slowly being given a new lease of life. The new manager, who is said to hail from an old mill town, has brought her favourite fry cook with her, who lives out back in a trailer. Come stay at Mesquite Motel! (Perhaps avoid the top floor though…)

Mesquite Motel is set as a bar, but can be used as a diner/restaurant or a residential lot. It’s ideal for storytellers (especially those who like werewolves or anything noir). There are 6 motel rooms to explore, a reception, and an apartment for the manager, as well as the diner-bar and kitchen. The kitchen has two stove units depending on how you want to use it. The drive-thru stove is blocked off so your chefs should use the other, but you can block that off if you’d prefer them to use the drive-thru.

The only custom content used was my Shiftable Mirrors (which lets you move mirrors freely on the wall). If you don’t have that installed you might find any wall mirrors disappear. If that happens, you can simply replace them with whatever you like.

I have every build/buy pack and kit and used a lot of them for this build. Anything missing can be replaced with whatever you have in your own game.

NAILED IT! base game and spa day nails in 3 palettes by amoebae

I’ve reached a bit of a follower milestone on tumblr, and although I don’t usually mark those kinds of things I thought this time I would do something a bit out of the ordinary for me – some CAS cc!

I’ve recoloured all the nail shapes (except the special version by Ebonix) that currently come with both the base game and the Spa Day refresh, and also the toenails.

All come in the three palettes I use: Image Spectra, Dream Pop, and Fluoro-Pop, each has a matte and a gloss version, and all are available for both masculine and feminine framed Sims. In CAS, the thumbnails specify whether the nails are matte or gloss.

[Note: For some reason, when viewed in Sims 4 Studio the toenails have a lovely mesh just like the fingernails, but in game the mesh doesn’t exist and the texture is just layered on top of the skin. This makes it look low quality and pixellated. The toenails have been really poorly implemented, which is a huge shame because they look great in S4S, but it’s beyond my capabilities to do anything about that, I’m afraid. Also, despite creating a custom matte specular for the toenails, I struggle to tell the difference in-game - but I’ve included both anyway just in case.]

BATUU FLOORS in Image Spectra and Dream Pop by amoebae

I don’t always take requests, but when I received one to recolour the floors from Journey to Batuu I couldn’t resist – first, because I love recolouring floors and walls because I’m strange like that, and second because they really are some of the best floors in the game and it’s criminal they only come in 2 colours each.

They all come in Image Spectra and Dream Pop, and have custom specular maps that reduce the ridiculous shine of the originals (but don’t get rid of it completely).

I already recoloured the hexagon tiles in Dream Pop for my Statement Collection, if you want to round out the whole set.
