Thank you so much, @nicollini ! It’s a blend of traditional and digital media. Alcohol inks, scanned then layered in Photoshop and then playing with layer transparencies, throwing in all the goodies from the overlay menu, like Multiply, Screen, etc. More like a trial and error kind of thing until I get what I want. Thanks so much for sharing my work, it means a lot!

A couple of years ago, when I discovered Voltron: Legendary Defender, little did I know I’d be making art of this beautiful pair of space elves with so much passion 💖 How did VLD impact your life? When the VLD fandom was beginning to quiet down, I was just learning about it. But there are still a few of us left around that enjoy our Lotura corner. Lotor and Allura waltzing among galaxies had me all dreamy and inspired me to draw this artwork. So I’m here for y’all with a rather crazy, detailed gold foil manual labor that I decided to pursue (I love sparkly things 🤩, I’m sure many of you do too, but the amount of sparkles I sprinkled on this one is insane and I may have lost my mind and my eyesight a bit when working on applying the gold leaf). ✨ I could have chosen again a foil printing service, but I decided to have it the old-fashioned way because nothing can beat the brilliant colors of giclée prints on archival paper and some hand-applied foil (I’m a bit crazy about giclées, small confession). This giclée is printed on a 11x14” (28 x 35.5 cm) watercolor bright white archival paper, with Canon Lucia inks and hand-embellished with Schabin composition leaf. New oneshot fic - The Prisoner

Summary: On their way to deliver Lotor to Zarkon in exchange for Commander Holt, a few blunt discussions happen among the people in the shuttle, which in turn stir up recent memories.

Pidge, distrustful of Lotor, and eager to get her dad back, reflects on their previous convos, while Shiro is pondering on his risky decision to give Lotor the Black Bayard.

Matt and Lotor have some silent eye to eye moments that reveal a bit about each of them.

This is a character study, as well as a "what if" short story in regards to Lotor's ability to handle the Black Bayard.

Hey friends, my muse made me do it, so I birthed a short fic that sprouted in my author mind, unannounced.

No ships, just ‘What ifs’, exploring what went on in Shiro’s mind when he decided to give Lotor his Bayard, and the inner dialogues of teen Pidge, who still has things to learn from life, but she’s feisty and ready to burn the universe to get her family back. Also, some Matt interactions with Lotor while doing a bit of character study on him as well.

A little surprise at the end - again, a ‘What if’ exploration regarding Lotor’s potential.

Nothing Ever Truly Goes Extinct - New Chapter

Every tick boiled in his blood like restless magma. The uncertainty at the end of the galactic tunnel gnawed at his nerves.

A slight bump announced the end of the wormhole. A very short distance, since Daibazaal was close to Altea, yet every tick mattered.

His jaw tightened, as he took in the somber spectacle. Galra ships drifted along wayward paths, like purple carcasses in the cemetery of the recent battle. Behind the veil of debris, a rainbow disk pulsed out into the dark abyss, dimmer and dimmer. At the periphery of his viewport, Daibazaal glowed an eerie dusty hue against the distant sun. Zooming in, he couldn’t discern much, as thick bands of clouds, or perhaps smoke, enveloped the visible hemisphere.

“Allura, come in.”

The static on the other side burned through him.

“Paladins.”

A few gigantic fuselage pieces floated past his shuttle, casting long shadows over his little viewport.

“Paladins!”
