Yes I live in a trashy trailer court but our trailer is one of the nicest because we upkeep when we can. Trent did good today tho! Ripped off the old tin & old plywood, put down new foam insulation & plywood all by himself. If I wasn’t so scared of heights or being on roofs I would’ve helped more. But my mom and I managed to bring him all the plywood lol!

[Day Night Nineteen] Elimination

The next sim to remain safe another day is Gabriel! Which unforunately means Amara having the lowest romance bar was asked to leave the mansion.

@doodle-dee thank you SOOOO so much for submitting Amara! I absolutely adored her. She's one of the most beautiful sims I've ever seen! Her & Fern would've made such a beautiful couple. She was such a sweetheart & so caring, always giving words of encouragement. I'll definitely miss having her around!

[Day Night Nineteen] Elimination

Welcome to the last rose ceremony before the final decision is made! The sim getting the first rose tonight is again Rowan Paris! He has been really stepping up his romance game, coming in with a 92% romance bar! This man was flirting with Fern every chance he got. I also didn't get any screenshots of it but he was really going hard with the autonomous "recite poetry" interaction. They also have the soulmates sentiment now.

[Day Nineteen] Group Outing

Since the weather was nice the next day, Fern took the group out to a fall festival. Together they rollerbladed & carved pumpkins. Fern ended up grilling some burgers for all of them before they had a game of horseshoes. They all got along well & surprisingly, no one did any flirting! She was hoping for some wholesome fun before the elimination later tonight...

After Rowan & Amara had retired for the night, Fern was about to go work out (because she's a night owl & hardly ever sleeps), I got a little notification that someone was diddlin' themselves. So I just let it play out & when she walked by (because he of course was doing it right in the middle of the mansion) I got another notification of Fern asking to join in. [Day Eighteen] Movie Night

It was thunderstorming outside so Fern decided a movie & pizza night in would be a nice way to do their next group outing. Fern ended up shushing Amara because she wouldn't stop talking during the movie. Out of no where, Rowan ended up flirting with Fern quite alot in front of the other two. I thought maybe they were going get away with it at first.. until Gabriel got really mad.

[Day Seventeen] Elimination

Which leaves us with Mike Casey having the lowest romance bar at a 23%. Fortunately Mike was a good sport & left the mansion with his head held high! He was such a goofball & sometimes Fern laughed & sometimes she literally cringed. I loved having him around, he was always dancing or spouting off memes. These two had a pretty surface level relationship; the romance remained pretty steady the whole time but they came off more as good friends than anything romantic.

@saartje77 thank you so much for submitting Mike! I really enjoyed having him around & I really think these two will have a lasting friendship after this challenge. He's such a sweetheart & was always there to make Fern laugh (or cringe).

Welcome back to another rose ceremony on Yearn For Fern! The first sim to receive a rose is Rowan Paris! Their one on one date really boosted his romance bar to a 66% (for the record; I always run the relationship cheat just to see how high the romance accurately is; which is why alot of them end up being super close). It's undeniable that these two have chemistry & feelings for each other; they also have the "lovers" sentiment now.

[Day Sixteen] Speed Date #3

The last date of the day was with Rowan. She figured they both loved the outdoors & she's always wanted to ride on the back of a motorcycle; so she pulled some strings & managed to rent one for the night. They took a scenic night cruise & came across a pretty dreamy waterfall. They spent the late hours talking… amongst other things. The only thing I initiated was the talking - ww did the rest (apparently these two just can't have a date without her riding something else.)

I also opted to not having a one on one with Gabriel considering he had one recently on the camping trip; I wanted to give the others a fair shot.

backstory:

she grew up with a father but her mother unfortunately passed away during childbirth. thankfully her father was extremely supportive because at a young age quinn knew she was born into the wrong body; she could feel it. at the ripe age of 16 she confided in her father, telling him that she was struggling with her identity. they had a long lengthy conversation about what she was feeling & what the plan was for the future. quinn decided on her 18th birthday that she was meant to be a woman, not the male she was born as. her father being the supportive man he was, helped her get the necessary surgeries that would make his daughter feel her authentic self. once she was fully herself, she never felt more confident in her body as she does now. regardless of the hardships she had to face going into adulthood; it made her a stronger woman. a determined woman - whether that be career wise or in the love department. quinn is now 26 & aspiring to be an actress while dabbling in fashion on the side. she's always wanted a special someone in her life; but no one's come close to being worth her time or energy - perhaps julia would be that person?

[Day Sixteen] Speed Date #2

For her next date; Fern took Amara on a little day trip to the San My Flea Market. The two had a great time checking out all the different stalls & vendors; even though neither of them bought anything. Soon as they arrived they were both pretty flirty & handsy with each other. They ended their date with a gold medal & a little friendly game of hopscotch.

1. My son! He’s growing up into such a smart young man & his wit is hilarious.

2. My fiance & our dogs! Trent is the best step dad & my rock. Our dogs, Torq & Skid are pains in the butts but I love them dearly.

3. Whenever I get a random memory popping into my mind about my dad. It makes me so happy but also sad at the same time.

4. Road trips. I actually don’t drive (I’ve never had my license) but I’m completely happy being the passenger princess 😂

5. Being a homebody. I enjoy just being at home. I’m not a people person & hate big crowds so whenever I’m able to be at home, it’s my happy place.

Fern sent the rest of the housemates off to do their own thing so that her & Mike could have the house to themselves. She figured the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach & the fact that Mike knew how to cook it would be the perfect little date for them. They had some deep conversations & flirted a bit here and there; but overall it was pretty surface level & their romance didn't really change much. They ended their date with a silver medal.
