It is a natural phenomena for everyone to have a dream or to dream big! But to turn dreams to reality it takes a lot of determination, dedication, self discipline, self sacrifice, hard work n untiring effort! All the above virtues perfectly describe #Mrs_Fatima_Khan – President of Fatima Education Society & founder of #Fatima_English_High_School & #Jr_College_Rabodi. It all began 25 years ago. She belonged to a middle class family but her dreams were big. She hailed from Rabodi. By making use of the very meagre means available, she started a small English medium playschool in her home itself. The people in n around Rabodi were not at all keen on sending their children to an English Medium School! So she literally went to each and every household to convince the parents to educate their children in English. She faced a great deal of rejection n harsh words which she bore silently n overlooked and moved on in achieving her goal! She toiled day and night to realise her dreams into reality of bringing about a change in the then rigid society. Gradually but steadily a ray of hope dawned when one by one parents became inclined to support her due to her persistence n conviction with which she spoke n worked! People began to believe in her dreams n started extending their support towards her! The strength of her children in school began to take an upward leap n her school started progressing magnanimously! FEHSJC became the first Muslim minority English medium school all over Thane city. Today FEHSJC can proudly boast of students who have excelled in all walks of life. The students are given opportunity for their overall personality development.
