Itās not just being Frenkie being fit that Iām worried about, itās more that heās had to three bad injuries on the same ankle this season, and even before this third one he was pretty shaky. Thereās a chance he might still struggle with confidence when coming back, especially since heās had a rough season and struggled with form since his first ankle injury. Not to mention his uncertain future at this club which Iām sure must worry him a bit.
agreed. you could also see that when he came back most recently, in how he struggled to make decisions and opted to pass backwards more often than not.
i do worry that heāll not only struggle with confidence but also that the manager(s) wonāt trust him to perform his usual role, which will just make the confidence issue worse.
i could talk about this for days, but i completely agree.
Everything I read and see about frenkie makes him seem like an absolute sweetheart. Hope heās doing ok with his injury, and can make a comeback at the euros (and hope wherever club heās at next season he can flourish in)
agreed. for years itās kind of always been like that- heās notoriously a bit of a softie lol, all iām hoping is that heās fit enough to make the squad for the euros. i just donāt want him to get rushed back to be a starter if he isnāt ready.
hi hope youāre doing well! what are your favourite frenkie pics if you have any? ^^
YES oh my god thank you so much i have been waiting for this
behold, like half my camera roll
any of the ones where he looks like an idiot are amazing
but my personal favorites are the one of him with matta
and then thereās the more basic ones that i still love where he either very clearly does not want to be there or is extremely cold, which i think is a dutch thing
the idiots saying ādurrr liverpoolās downfall needs to be studiedā have genuinely lost the plot.
going into this season, if weād been offered a 3rd-place finish and winning the efl cup in the way we did, nobody would have turned it down.
klopp has overachieved with this team, and the players have been phenomenal- theyāre fucking exhausted, theyāve had the least rest time of any prem team, of course theyāre doing to fall off.
we arenāt city. we donāt have the funds to have essentially what is the equivalent of a full mid-table team on our bench. we cannot push super hard at the end of the season like city can, because they have the experience and the depth and, most importantly, the money to have the experience and the depth.
we have overachieved. this season is a success. no shit, i wish we won the league, but that isnāt happening, so we have to look at the bigger picture.
salah going at klopp is unacceptable. you are allowed to be angry. you are allowed to be fed up. you are allowed to be disappointed with being benched. you cannot be aggressively going at the manager like a petulant child. you are a professional.
obviously Mo is fed up, and be has every right to be- but not at Klopp. i think heās probably just mad at himself and taking it out on others, which I understand, but he simply cannot go at his manager like that on the sideline. itās unprofessional and unacceptable.
i love mo. he made me fall back in love with this sport. as a professional and as a leader on the team, he simply cannot be doing that.
a REF telling a player to go down injured to get treatment in order to cover up his fuck-up is genuinely crazy. explain to me how that makes any sense? that ball is LIVE. gakpo should have scored it, at least then it would have forced the referee to make the decision.
ācommunication errorā my ass, that bald fucking fraud is meant to be one of the best referees in the world. he should know the rulesā itās his job.
pathetic refereeing seems to be a trend this season, though, so heāll probably get a pt on the back for that shit.
